r. m.don't know why I haven't been sooner! Had a date night with my husband last night, we ordered 2 drinks each, a starter, Main, side and dessert and cost all of £66!!! we like to eat out and we're were not only impressed with how cheap it was for what we had but the food was, well the chef must be using some kind of witchcraft...... Amazing! The portions were perfect not measly but not over filling, although I was stuffed by the end. The staff were pleasant and the atmosphere was relaxing and calm. It has a very homely cottage vibe, even the toilets were nice and very clean. this very well could be our new regular place to eat.
V. W.Had an absolutely wonderful afternoon tea here, served at lunchtime too! A huge selection of savouries, pastries and sweet things, beautifully presented. We couldn't eat it all, and had to take home doggie bags. Wouldn't hesitate to recommend this, and I'll be back.
J. B.Lovely food worth the wait. I had crispy beef noodles on the special. Husband had burger which is his go to choice, but when he saw mine he had food envy. We want to go back and try Sunday lunch.

d. d.Buried my mother today [8th September 2022] and had to ensure she had a good wake, not rowdy, but had to know that the food was nice and there was plenty of it. You have to take a chance wherever you go. There was no need to worry at all. It was a great day today, as far as funerals can be. She would have been mortified to think that there had not been enough. There was plenty and she would have been proud. The staff were wonderful and I'm just glad we chose The Welcome Inn and thank them all for the send off we were able to give my mother. Thank you from the Durke family
