Wow, what amazing food this was, hot, fresh and plenty of it. Great value for money and you definitely won’t leave hungry. The staff are absolutely superb too working really hard to keep everyone happy. I would thoroughly recommend. We’ll definitely be back again. Thank you x

Our first visit to Moshan Island Grill was fab. The restaurant is above the takeaway and we received a warm welcome from the friendly, family team that run it. The decor is basic, but that's not the reason to eat here; the food is authentic Caribbean cooking - generous portions full of rich flavours and without a ridiculous price. Drinks, including cocktails, are also keenly priced - our party of 4 shared a couple of jugs of the rum punch, which I'd certainly recommend. A great evening, shared with friends in a warm and welcoming establishment; as it was one of the hottest evenings of the year, even the heat added to our Carribbean experience, but rain or shine, this is a lovely friendly venue, serving delicious food and drinks.

Amazing food,even though a Covid-slimmed-down menu meant there was no bun & cheese or homemade cake, but fabulous reggae music playing in the background. Lovely people, had a great time, would definitely go back again & again & again. It's a small place across two floors so book ahead! Oh and I loved the salt n pepper pots 😂

Made a reservation weeks ago before the start/stop of lockdown, got to the restaurant this evening only to find that the dining room was closed, only open normally on Friday and Saturday evenings, as they have had few weekday bookings. The owner couldnt have been more apologetic and instead of turning us away, he opened up, waited on us, was our bartender and chef!!!!! Absolutely fantastic food, excellent cocktails and would wholeheartedly recommend a visit. The chicken, steaks and lamb were all cooked to perfection, and the presentation was second to none. Well done Moshan Island Grill, will definitely be visiting again soon, worth so much more than 5*

As a regular customer both dining in and for home deliveries the Goat Curry with Rice and Peas with Jerk Pork for starter and Macaroni Cheese as a side is a usual order for me and my friend. However, I always like to vary my choices when dining in. On Saturday 04-Sept my Nephew his two girls and I ate there to celebrate her going to University and as usual food was amazing and staff very friendly and chatty. We had mixed starters to share with the Trinidad Roti, Jamaican Patties and a couple of Jerk Porks and then I had the Brown Stew with Rice my Nephew had the Goat Curry with Rice and Peas and his daughters tried other dishes (cant remember) and we shared a Barbados Bake. Yes we probably over ordered again but its so delicious and theres always a container to take the rest home if you need to... Needless to say will ne going again and ordering for home delivery.

The jerk chicken was delicious, the chicken curry was equally delicious. I'm not a huge fan of mac and cheese but with the added spices, this complimented it so well. The highlight was the ribs with honey, they're just amazing. We will definitely order again

Great tasting food and was delivered very fast. Was still nice and hot when it arrived and the portions were very generous. I particularly loved the spicy gravy, perfect for dipping the Jamaican patty's. Would like a bigger choice of dishes.

We tried this restaurant out a few weeks ago. Still thinking about the delicious steak I had. It's something different, the food is great, and so is the service. Definitely going back.

I ordered online from here and while the chicken and rice box I ordered was good, the rest of what arrived was pretty messy, difficult to eat and hadn't travelled well. The Mac & Cheese was particularly gross by the time it got to me as it was just a mashed up sticky mess... the rice box redeemed it somewhat though. It's worth a try, you may have a better experience than me, but I wouldn't order from here again personally.

Only had the take away however it was absolutely amazing!!! Great service, ordered through Just Eat and it was ready on time. Wicked taste. We came from london and was looking for some home cooked food. We drove around and found this perfect place. The food was soooooo nice. Flavours are fantastic. We ordered from Moshans last night... January 21st 2014, food was delivered quickly and was amazing. We usually order in Reading and the feedback I was given from friend was that this food felt like it was 'made with love' It has out done any other caribbean restaurant we have visited and believe me we have been to a lot through the south including London. We will definitely be ordering again. Just so you know we ordered the Fried Chicken Meal, Curry Goat Meal and Festivals. Absolutely delicious. Thank you
