My favourite place for Oriental cuisine. The food is absolutely delicious. Staff are very friendly. Brilliant ambience. Would definetely recommend to do a table reservation before visiting there as they are normally fully booked on weekends especially. I can highly recommend this place.

Another great meal. Went for the all you can eat buffet. We chose a starter each plus crispy duck pancakes, followed by 3 mains, a rice and rice noodles. All came piping hot. Good wine, great service.

Always love going here for delicious Chinese food! The all you can eat offers are great, I usually fill up mostly on the starters and crispy duck and then hardly order any of the main dishes! Service can be hit and miss, but the food is always good!

Definitely a good Chinese/Asian restaurant in Swindon . They also have rendezvous take away place which is called rendezvous express . The food taste good and good ambience too with good service from staff . Check their website for good deal and all you can eat options that veg served at your table for a price that you pay . For example before 7pm you pay less price as it’s called early bird . They serve alcohol too . I recommend this restaurant with 4 star .

This place does some of the best oriental food I've tasted. The all you can eat offering is great value for money as all the dishes are made to order - none of this self service buffet that sits for ages. The staff are friendly, polite and knowledgeable being able to advise on how spicy a dish really is and suggesting dishes to match tastes. The overall presentation of the establishment is good too. It's well maintained and doesn't feel tired or appear run down in any way. The entrance feels a bit weird as it's one level above the main restaurant but it works well with its sizeable waiting area.

Coupled with very good service and they have made a lot of effort with covid protection which is very appreciate. Amazing food, but I can't help but feel that the social distancing was a little half-hearted. There were screens between most of the tables and staff were wearing masks, but I was sat on a round table in the corner where there were no screens - my seat back was probably less than a metre from the seat back of the person behind me. So while the food was definitely delicious and good for price, the restaurant still felt busy and I was pretty on edge for the whole of my visit.

Having moved back to the Swindon area last year after nearly 20 years away I was really pleased to see the Rendez Vous was still here. And having now eaten from the Rendez Vous again tonight for the first time it is great to know that the food is still as excellent as ever and the service just as friendly, polite and efficient. Sweet and Sour chicken balls have been consistently excellent, the quality of the chicken has been first rate. During this lockdown period we have ordered many times and never been disappointed. We had a bit of a mix up with our delivery where we weren't hearing our door knock or bell ring (phone's also on silent 🤦‍♀️) and after realising we had missed calls our delivery had been and gone! Called the restaurant and they were amazing and re-cooked everything and got it out to us within half hour to which we then realised our doorbell was not working!! Called to apologise to the restaurant and thank them again for their kindness and efficiency in getting us a new order and we were so grateful! The food was hot and delicious,cannot fault them for their food and their service! Top notch! Just couldn't apologise enough to them for the error on our part but they were amazing! Will definitely be returning....after we get a new doorbell!!! 😬

We came here for the all you can eat food. We ate all we could eat (a lot) and left. All the staff here are extremely friendly and warm to us. After much calculation we figured it made sense for the four of us to just go for the all you can eat - as there was too much on the menu we liked the sound of. It is not the typical all you can eat buffet that one might expect, however the system of just ordering plate after plate (make sure you finish it) seems to work very well. Would definitely recommend as the best all you can eat Chinese buffet in Swindon.

Fantastic food - couldn't fault anything. Much nicer inside than it looks from the road - so don't be put off. Busy and a little noisy but this just creates a fun, lively atmosphere. Nice and cool in the summer heat. A real unexpected surprice and very handy for Wyvern Theatre.

Not too happy with my visit here recently. I arrived for a family birthday and was stood at the reception for ages trying to get a drink and to hand over a cake. I never did get a drink. We all went down to the table, were seated, ordered our food and the starters were on the table when eventually I grabbed one of the bar staff to get me a drink. The floors were sticky with what I assume fat or spilled food. The food was okay. I had to grab someone again to clear our table when we all had clearly finished eating so we could get the birthday cake. When it arrived they had substituted the sparklers that were with the cake for second hand candles. They also never did return the sparklers. Things are defiantly going downhill as far as service is concerned.
