First time we had tried Alamein’s. The food arrived in a reasonable time and the food was piping hot. I tried the lemon rice which was really great with that lemon hit. The Chicken Shatkora Bhuna was cooked perfectly. The chicken was lovely and moist, fresh spices with a slight kick. Will definitely recommend them.

I visited this restaurant for the first time, last night, after my best friend had recommended it. The staff were welcoming & most helpful. I thoroughly enjoyed my meal & will certainly return. The only issue, for me, was the limited parking, but that is not insurmountable. Do try this restaurant - ignore the negative reviews - there is always one !!

Visited valentine's night for the first time and what a stunning restaurant, its decorated absolutely beautifully. The food was really good and was reasonably priced. I actually think they are underselling themselves and did expect to pay abit more especially for valentine's night. The star of the show for me was the man who waited on us... he was so lovely and witty. Honestly all the staff made us feel so welcome. Was even given a valentine's teddy when we were leaving... what a beautiful touch. We will definitely be back and will be ordering take outs too. Thanks for a lovely evening ❤️

Ordered a takeaway this evening after a long hard week. Amazing food, made with fresh ingredients. Tasted lovely... I would have included a picture but the other half and I dived in and ate it before getting my phone out. Thank you for your lovely food. Look forward to paying you a visit in the restaurant.

Came in tonight the welcome was lovely and the food was too. I had the prawn purée and I have never had better and a super chicken patia. The staff were very attentive and welcoming. Will definitely be visiting again

Haven't tried the place since it was Mauchak simply because of the location and I'd forgotten about it over the years but I had a menu delivered and I'm so glad I didn't throw this one away, it did not disappoint, this is now my go to Indian takeaway! Everything was tasty and cooked well and they are very generous with portions. Really hope it wasn't a lucky one off and the consistency continues as I was very happy with everything. Indian is my favourite takeaway so will definitely be a regular!

Came in tonight and What can I say. Staff lovely couldn’t be more attentive and welcoming and food very good. Had the chilli lamb starter and the spicy prawns with potato straws for main. the staff couldn’t do enough for us.

Food is overrated. Was mediocre at best! Shisha was OK but the vibe in the lounge wasn't worth the price either. It was dead. But 3 stars as the service was brilliant!

First visit last night and we were all really impressed a fabulous menu different from the normal but with the old favourites for those less adventurous. Didn’t realise they didn’t have an alcohol license but to be fair the mocktails we ordered were incredible so my usual glass of wine wasn’t needed. FRESH seems to be the name of this restaurant from the Mocktails to popadom to nann and of course the dishes you could taste it in every bite. We were a little overwhelmed by the menu but the manager talked us through and we went with the recommendations of 3 excellleht dishes. The chef popped out later for a chat to check we had enjoyed the meal and gave us a little history of the dishes. Finally the atmosphere was very fresh and young I can see it appealing to the younger element for its excellent r’n’b music and selfie flower walls. It was full of all ages. A lovely little find we will be revisiting after lockdown is over.

Visited last nigh with friends, we all loved it, a very pretty yet cosy setting. The food was delish, beautifully presented & tasted fresh. The staff made us feel welcomed and recommended the best dishes after explaining the menu to us. it was an overall amazing experience. we would definitely recommend!!

This restaurant and lounge was suggested to me by a friend, the service is beyond excellent and both the restaurant and the lounge have such a relaxing atmosphere! Me and my friend originally just came for the shisha but couldn't resit the food as it smelt incredible and tasted just as good! Highly recommended for a night to remember! The food, hospitality and atmosphere is impeccable and not to forget how beautiful the restaurant and layout is!!

I had an amazing time with my friends.The service there was amazing especially a young man called Ruhul, he helped out a lot. The shisha was amazing and I couldn’t have a better time. They definitely deserve 5 stars. I will definitely come back soon.

Booked a table for 8 people. It's a cozy little restaurant in a converted pub. It's clean and has a good choice of food. Staff were friendly and helpful. Prices were average. Thursday has a £10 meal deal. I would go again.

Myself and a friend went for curry and few cocktails, cocktail menu has lots of choices. Did menu had good choices it various degrees of heat. All food we had was delicious. I would highly recommend the cheese, garlic naan it was heaven. Only disappointment was no card payments although the manager drove us to nearest cash machine. Bonus we were able to use meerkat meals so great food at a great price.

1st time here last night, fantastic food with a lot of really different dishes on the menu along with your normal curry house dishes. Service was excellent with a group of really friendly staff, and the honey pot lounge was lovely after our meals for a cocktail and requested music that they put on for us. Will defiantly visit again.

The food is amazing and they will always do their best to make sure you have an enjoyable evening. From the very first time I bought my girlfriend here we've had nothing but great food and excellent service from Ibrahim and the team. The food is consistently high quality and served piping hot. With more variety than you can shake a stick at and they are happy to cook off menu for you too, if you want something a bit special. With the addition of the cocktail bar to the premesis, Mauchak has gone from strength to strength. Here's to many more years of service giving Telford the best in Indian cuisine.

I have been to this restaurant a few times now in a small group of woman. We all love it. The menu is more varied than a standard Indian. The guy ask each of us what sort of Indian food do we like and on the basis of that made recommendations to try something different. We all tried something new and loved it. Happy to recomend anyone to try this place

We have eaten here a few times and have take aways quite often. The staff are always friendly and helpful, just a shame about the rude ladies dining there the last time we were there, although this was handled well by the management. Despite their rudeness towards the staff our service was still excellent and we shall be returning soon.

The only shisha place in Telford.....and trust me I looked. Lol. Came here when staying overnight as I love having shisha. A bit more cost-wise compared with Birmingham, Manchester and some East London lounges (£10 one elsewhere is £15-£18 here), but shisha was very nice (I had Blueberry). The lounge area is very pleasant and decor is very nice. Service was great too. Not open as late as similar venues in other cities (closes at 11pm), but had enough time to smoke and relax. Would definitely rate as 5 stars if the price was a bit lower.

We use to go to another Indian but that got way too expensive and service took ages, so we thought we would try here for a change and what a good change that was, we had been back over and over again, the food is really nice and always the same, the staff are friendly as well and the service is great as well not waiting long for food.
