Food was lovely, service was poor. It seemed they were to busy on take away and even the people waiting for take away were complaining of waiting time. It took 10-15 minutes wait for a server to come and ask us if we wanted drinks. Starter was brought out 4 minutes after starter order was taken and then one of the gents said to a customer that you have to wait for good food?!?! Such a shame as I have been here many times and there alway very polite and happy to serve and never rushed. Maybe a bad evening.

After reading several negative reviews, we decided that we would try Bilash again after 4 years (we are not local!). The takeaway meal was ready as per the 35mins quoted. The man behind counter/bar was very polite. I always rate a meal by wether you want to finish it or not. I was left soaking up the madras sauce with the naan bread! The salad and raita were an excellent accompaniment. I always rate and take notice of a review by the quality of grammar within. I did this on this occasion and was NOT dissappointed with the meal at all.

Nice food curry was great , filthiest carpet I have ever seen in a restaurant 😳 slow service and no manners from some of the staff. Captive audience as the only curry house in the area.

Doesn't look much from outside and maybe in need of some updating, however the food was excellent! Balti's, Dansak, Tikka's all excellent and Naan breads very well cooked. Varied menu, including drinks menu with a very good choice of beers and wines . 👍

First time having it as I’m on a break away from my Home time visting family and I never really eat Indian but my chicken curry and rice was so good I normally don’t like spicey stuff but this was just in the middle will a little kick to it good portions to thankyou 😊

Recently moved to Shrewsbury from Yorkshire. Missing our Take away Indian deliveries from a brilliant Indian called 'Cinnamon''. Bilash delivered last night and was Phenomenal ! We think has to be one of the best curries ever ! Will def be using again and again, now that they deliver !

I talked to some negative locals who didn’t have a nice word to say about this curry house. I am so glad we went the food was really good, different to my local curry houses but that’s a good thing! The guys serving were really attentive. Not many customers but doing lots of takeaways, I think people don’t know you can dine in.

Obviously I'd firstly recommended this place because the food is really good! Secondly, the staff really care, whenever I've collected for takeaway I've been offered a free drink while I wait. When we've been in for a meal, they're there for whatever you need. 5* food. 5* service.

Had several meals here, always enjoyed them. Good selection and a few different options, there is English for anyone who is looking for that option on the menu. I had a passage and it was different to any other I've had but still flavour some and good portion size. It's nothing fancy, service is as you would expect, not rushed or too slow.

Fantastic food. Great quality wonderfully cooked and plenty of choice. Portion sizes can be large, you might want to share! But for those Hungry mouths lots to eat.

The food is very nice at a great price. My family keep returning there time and time again and never get bored of it. Once I was given the wrong order but it was delicious nonetheless. Freshly cooked food and they also give you mint chocolates for free at the end of your meal.

Staff are hard work. Food is over priced for what it is, if your going to charge them prices it should be better quality. Menu is a bit of a let down not the greatest of choice. Meal was OK beer was cold. Just expected better prime location need to do it justice.

Doesn't look much from the outside, but inside it's a different story. Huge choice of dishes, and the ones we had were very good (chicken dhansak, chicken sagwala, tarka dahl). Great selection of pickles with the poppadums, and friendly waiters. Well worth a visit after a couple of beers from the Talbot next door!
