Reviews of Euston Way Beefeater
P. L.
After a dubious start to proceedings, where I was told I could not exchange the tomatoe and mushrooms for peas due to COVID. Things got better as I asked another staff member and the issue was resolved. Steak was cooked to perfection, and the calamari starter was also extremely nice.
Place is pricey for what you get, but it's nice food.
They need to shut the doors as the constant smell of smokers is a little bit off putting.
Four stars is my opinion
H. B.
Came here for breakfast as we’d heard good things about it. Will definitely be coming again, food was lovely and hot. Really tasty and very friendly staff
Would highly recommend
T. E.
Great atmosphere, gorgeous food, the manager was impeccable in delivering world class service and the staff took their lead from his exceptional service.
P. R.
I have added another star since my last review over a year ago. Very friendly staff making you feel very welcome. Great atmosphere. Food is very nice and very good service too.
P. C.
Used this outlet as it was attached to out hotel, so was very convenient.
Premier inn booked my table, we just turned up on time, food was good & did not take too long comming.
The menu is varied though no chicken wings even though it was on the menu.
Drinks were decent quality.
Staff were very good at their job & very helpful.
Will use again if we go to this part of the country again.
E. T.
We come here for breakfast before going for a family day out, as a family of 2 adults and 4 children its always a winner.
The children love the all you can eat buffet and the cooked breakfast is always good, especially the sausages.
On top on this the staff are always helpful, friendly and a delight.
P. S.
Enjoyed a night cap before going to bed . We were a bit late for something to eat 9 pm but managed to get a takeaway delivered. The breakfast was good and we enjoyed the variety. Either continental or traditional English. It was a little cold inside but we got used to it
H.
Not an excellent experience, if I'm honest. We came here as part of our B&B booking with Premier Inn. It took us a fair while to be seated and then the service was extremely minimal. It was very hard to even grab the attention of waitresses as they never came to the back corner of the restaurant. The full English was average and the pancakes were nice. My partner ordered a porridge with syrup but it came without syrup and it had gone cold during the time we had to wait for assistance (which actually never came). Very good value for money and if you want quantity over quality then this is the place to be!
M. B.
Went for breakfast as it had been recommended. Little disappointed with the cooked breakfast as we obviously got the leftovers even though it was only 9am ! Dried, crispy sausage, bacon and mushy mushrooms. Continental choices and cereals were great with fresh supplies.
L. R.
As you would expect, good food, served quickly by friendly very attentive staff. I stayed at the Premier Inn next door for a week for business & was really well looked after by all the restaurant staff but I would particularly like to mention Janet who was a little ray of sunshine every day.
A. C.
Been here a couple of times. Food is always great and the atmosphere is relaxed. Service was slower this time and it looked like there was only one waiter on for the whole place. He remained professional throughout to his credit. Would still recommend.
A. O.
Brilliant! 3 elements to breakfast for £9.50 with 2 children (upto 16) eating free per adult. Unlimited drinks, continental and cooked breakfast for us all. Definitely recommend!
K. S.
Had evening meal and breakfast whilst staying at the adjacent Telford Central Premier Inn. Service was good although relatively quite in the evening. Choice of food options and quality was good. Continental style breakfast and cooked breakfast.
f.
Nice food, friendly staff. Only gave it four stars as it took them 20 minutes to let us know they didn't have the food we ordered left. And the doombar was flat.
J. D.
Alway come here as we stay at the Premier Inn next door.
But this time noticed not so good . Despite Staff trying they best.
Food smaller portions.
Out of stock of drinks like Orange juice,
Tryed making a cocktails with out correct ingredients.
Food had to go back as was cold.
Such a shame as use to be a Great place .
S. H.
Friendly staff but not enough of them and food not as advertised on the menu. We arrived for a 4.45pm booking and we were seated promptly, drinks and food were taken in a good time. Our food came out without too much of a wait, the problem came with our 2 dishes of the full rack of ribs. We have had this before and it has been lovely but this time the ribs were tough and very spicy, not a BBQ glaze as advertised so my wife and son couldn’t eat them. When clearing our table the waitress did ask if we enjoyed our meals and we mentioned this to her, she did go and ask the chef who told her the dish had changed. She did say she would talk to the manager but we weren’t after money off, we just thought the dish should be advertised as a spicy kick as it wasn’t BBQ as advertised. Then unfortunately we ordered dessert, i say unfortunately because the restaurant was getting busier and there was not enough staff to deal with the tables that were coming in. We waited 30 mins for our desserts and then another 15 at least just to pay the bill. Fair play to the staff they were all running around serving but when a chef comes out to tell one of them that the ice cream is melting on the desserts then there is not enough of them. As I said earlier we have been here before and had a lovely meal, unfortunately after this experience we won’t be back for a while.
L. W.
We went here as a family for dinner, the food was 5* to go with the service,
Staff there were so friendly and helpful, I would highly recommend and we shall definitely be returning soon
K. B.
Nice place and easy to find. Polite staff and the food was really very nice. However service was incredibly slow considering the place was not even half full. Waitress was very pleasant and was asked for some extra sauce but by the time it arrived the food had been eaten. Plates were not cleared away and we sat with them for at least 30 minutes as our waitress had completely disappeared! We decided to leave at this point and I had to go and find a member of staff to request the bill. Again he was very polite and came over to the table after I had to ask him as we were splitting the bill. Such a shame as the food was lovely. Perhaps they should employ enough staff to cope with the covers they are serving!
K. W.
Went for the breakfast, coffee was OK and they ask you for individual quantities on the cooked breakfast which is also good saves wasted food.
Overall the food was good nothing great just OK which I kind of expected.
The issue I had was the seating was in real need of at least a good clean, the whole place was past its best really looking tired in places.
Went the toilets afterwards and the toilet was out of order not great either.
Had a concern that the fire door into the kitchens needed repairs as it looked to not close fully, like I said needs some TLC putting into the place to make it worth revisiting.
j. t.
Excellent meals lovely waitress service too so comfortable and peaceful
G. H.
Great staff and usual excellent value. Came for dinner because staying in the Prem Inn next door, but I usually stay and eat elsewhere. I'll probably come back after tonight, service was quick, efficient and the food and drink were 👍
S. J.
Had a meal with a friend and it was lovely place. Food was nice and the restaurant is good. Staff are extremely lovely too especially Jan G ☺️
K. G.
I would not recommend the bbq ribs as did not taste like ribs at all.
The steak was lovely.
The lasagna was very nice.
The lamb chops was nice.
A. H.
Great all you can eat breakfast for the price so long as they're not too busy otherwise it can be quite a wait for the cooked brekkie, but loads to help yourself to while you wait.
Really friendly staff, cosy feel and very clean.
W.
Dropped intoday for lunch.
Excellent service from the get go.
Food was top notch and really good.
Will be coming back for sure ☺️
L. L.
Called in with my wife for the afternoon 2 for £8.95 offer. Loads of space so sat at a table but was 'advised' we should have waited to be shown to a table. Menu not extensive but to be expected with this kind of deal. However, we both found something for starters and main course. All courses were piping hot and nicely cooked. Our waitress was affectionately known as 'Momma G', very pleasant and attentive, checked during and after the meal if everything was ok. Dining area seemed clean as were the toilets. Had to smile at the sign for the one toilet not in use. "Sorry for the inconvenience "
S. J.
Lovely meal after a day's travelling. Lots of nice veggie options. Staff were brilliant
l. p.
Were welcomed from the word go. Helped with parking meter and service was Brilliant. JAN one of the waitresses was very pleasant and always came by to see if all the party inc children were happy. A must for a visit. Food served wad good .you get your parking fee back after you have finished.
S. A.
Friendly staff and a good choice for breakfast hot food cooked to order
N. L.
Well organised with covid precautions and fast and polite service. Food was delicious and good deal with the Premier Inn next door. Had and evening meal and cooked breakfast the next day. Will probably visit the next time I'm passing through.
M. B.
Excellent service, all staff were smiling and keen to help. Food was great.
M. R.
They haven't lost their touch 👍
If you like your steak tender then I recommend the fillet steak, I don't usually order steak as I struggle to find one tender enough but this was almost perfect.
D. B.
Very clean restaurant area and friendly staff, food was excellent, we will be returning.
S. S.
Really good food, they do an excellent lunchtime deal (Monday to Friday)
s. d.
Stayed in Premier inn next door . It was very nice to be in a restaurant again with lovely staff and tasty food. Very happy to go back again.
k. m.
Really friendly staff and nice food. I had the paprika chicken and it was grilled to perfection!
E. M.
Good for breakfast. The chef was able to modify the grill level. Commendable
M. M.
Food was quick . Portion amount was disappointing, ordered rare steak, but the meat was so thin I think showing it to the grill would have overcooked it.
The staff are excellent though .can't fault them one bit.
k. h.
Good atmosphere and the staff are very friendly.
J. B.
Completely on top of the covid rules. Felt extremely comfortable. The lady who served us mamma D I think her name was. She was so nice to us !! I'd go back just to see her again!. Also the food was delicious the best beefeater I've been to!
d. c.
Slow service on the day. 15 min wait for drinks after we had been seated. Ordered Nacho sharing platter with veggie chilli, came out with pulled beef. Was exchanged for veggie chilli, but portion was hardly sufficient for one person, not two!
J.
Came with my dad who is disabled. Disabled parking right on entrance, seated us nearby so dad who really isn't very mobile didn't have to walk far. Really friendly service and lovely food
J. M.
Very average experience, which was a let down after someone raved about the place. A few staples on the menu weren't available, very slack service and sadly, mediocre food at best that took ages to come and which wasn't very hot. Such a shame
G. W.
Fantastic place to eat drink and relax staying next door for work so we have breakfast and evening meals here well worth a visit and perfect location for visiting Telford and next to the train station
A. D.
Very good quality and customer service.
Dishes are very good.
F. R.
I stayed at the Premier Inn next door. Very busy weekend and restaurant felt short-staffed. Breakfast is ok. Dinner over-cooked and for small items ordered I was given substitutes - no explanation, so could be better.
L. P.
All you can eat breakfast was amazing
g. l.
I had mixed grill and finished with cheesecake.took 2 hours from sitting down and the place wasn't full.the majority of the mixed grill was a bit dry but the steak was nice,I had it rare.if I went again I would have a steak on its own.
l. w.
Best place for breakfast in Telford top class nice decent food for not much money 😁
j. h.
Amazing value for money...food cooked freshly to order... Happy friendly staff.. don't eat breakfast often, but this place is always our go to
M. P.
Soul less bar not exactly cheap but reasonable prices and run mainly by staff who cant be arsed and are happy to shut the kitchen as soon as possible and give no warning..Food was faultless although breakfast is to order and not buffet, smaller portions so just order a few extra if like me you a gannet.
M. P.
Slightly overpriced for the level of quality in the food. Service was excellent and the waiting staff couldn't do enough for you. Can't say I'd be in a rush to go back but there's certainly worse out there.
R. L.
My ribs were nice my wife's gammon was well overdone.
K. E.
Unfortunately their steaks are rarely cooked how you ask, but they're always nice enough to do them again.
It's just a shame that as a restaraunt chain who prides itself on its beef, they're unable to put the extra effort in to get their chefs delivering a consistent output of decent quality.
G. E.
First time at the Euston way very clean and tidy staff very friendly shame some of the food on the menu wasn't available my burger was still mooing eat my chips before I did but the rest of the family's was OK .
T. S.
The food here is really good. They need more staff as we waited ages for even drinks and longer still for food and to pay. Also think prices are a bit steep but there is hardly anywhere in Telford where you can get a nice steak and you can here!
E. J.
When I went here initially i said 'Poor food and service, food isn't reasonably priced for the quality'.
That was some time ago and enough time had passed for me to give this restaurant another go after I was disappointed at the Priorslee by their lack of stock.
As such I am updating my review as I have had a change of opinion.
I will say this place is now much better. The food was good quality for the price and staff were friendly, polite and attentive. I'll go back again 👌
j. r.
Nice breakfast. Good range
Kids eat free
D. G.
Superb food. Nana Kim and Ant and Shanu were a credit to your team
T. R.
Both our main meals were lovely, I had the Prawns and my husband the surf and turf. Could not fault them. Dessert on the other hand. My husband enjoyed the cheesecake. I hand the churros sundae, I sent it back because the churros were rock hard, the second attempt not much better. I didn't eat them, just the sundae. A shame as that was the reason for ordering the dessert. They did remove the charge from my bill.
M. T.
Very friendly staff and chilled atmosphere
Went for tea with the kids and all the food was faultless. If there had to be a negative it was the food took abit to long to come out and staff could have done with checking in on the table abit more to ask if we wanted anymore refills on the drinks or if we wanted pudding, they were quite busy though. Reccomend the churro sundae 😜
C. B.
Food came quickly and portions were large
G. M.
Excellent service and good food for dinner and then breakfast while staying at the Premier Inn. All staff very attentive and friendly, no problems catering for allergies (gluten free and dairy free). Standard Beefeater chain menu, food very tasty and cooked very nicely. Would certainly recommend.
G. G.
We were served by a lovely lady called Jan G. She made us feel so welcome. Was very friendly and so helpful.
Absolutely excellent service and the food was really nice.
Highly recommended.
A. O.
Good breakfast, remember to book is gets really busy 👍
P. A.
Staff were brilliant, very accommodating and friendly. My daughter and her friends all had breakfast here on there GCSE results days and staff were great. The manager personally congratulated them, let us set up a few balloons etc and even gave them a personal heartfelt speech, which was lovely. Very attentive staff throughout the various meals we had over the week. Always on hand if we needed plates, glasses, ice etc whilst staying next door. We had several nights socialising in the outdoor garden seating area with the large group of us and again can't praise the staff enough. All of our party were full of compliments, so from all of Thanks and keep up the good work as it made for a really memorable and pleasurable experience whilst our girls were representing Team England in the Dance World Cup.
M. H.
Nice cosy environment. Food prepared well.
J. M.
Hardly any staff tonight, slow service. Also meals are smaller and scantier than usual, might be supply problems but to pay £1.99 for a tablespoon of blue cheese sauce was a joke. Shame as it's normally a great place.
R. W.
Good location. Its right next to the train station. Good food, friendly efficient staff, and generally a nice atmosphere.
C. B.
Had a rare sirlion and it was delicious!!
Highly recommend the flavour was amazing
D. R.
Experience very positive. We booked as part of our Premier Inn stay. The staff were excellent and a credit to your company, with their friendly and happy demeanour. We throughly enjoyed meal as this was out first experience of dining out since covid, we felt safe and the helpfulness of the staff we will definitely be back. If I could I would give 10 stars. Thank you
g.
Great place , food was lovely and service is great . Would go again
T. M.
Had a thoroughly enjoyable meal spoilt by an obnoxious woman and her family. Both adults were drunk( in charge of their grandkids ) complained their meal was cold, they threw the empty plates on the floor, had a go at the waitress who was on her third shift. Raised her voice so the whole of the restaurant could hear. The duty manager did an amazing job at sorting the situation and apologised for the awkward situation. Our meal was spot on and definitely go back.
S. C.
Went for breakfast. Brilliant service, food was fresh and hot. Well stocked continental section. Our gluten free needs were met fantastically.
M. J.
Met my friend there today for an overdue catch up, not been able to see her since before COVID, the staff were absolutely wonderful, a credit to the venue.
Food was delicious and well priced.
Will definitely be returning
J. P.
We were a party of 15, there were a few issues with the food, the service was ok. There is room for improvement.overall we had a good night.
#. d.
Still charging full price for a non buffet breakfast....
Come on Premier Inn/Beefeater get things back to normal
R. W.
Only ate one night here. What really stands out with this establishment are the staff. What a great bunch. We enjoyed having a laugh the three days we were there.
D. F.
Quality burgers. Quality fries. Love my order. Thank you Beefeater Telford.
M. B.
Brilliant Staff & great food 10/10
g. t.
The food was good especially the best mixed grill but it didn't have have the roasted on the tomatoes. I mentioned this to a waitresses but she failed to do anything about it! The wine we had as part of our Premier Inn deal was wishy washy cheap stuff. Garlic bread for a starter was delicious as was apple and blackberry crumble.
E. R.
What a delicious breakfast! Service was absolutely fabulous!
M. H.
Well I was totally impressed with this venue.
You are made to feel like a VIP from the minute you walk in the door.
There is a wide variety in the menus for food and drink, with choices for all dietary needs and all budgets.
The food was excellent and service impeccable. They furnished our every need and kept the drinks coming without any prompting.
The staff cannot do enough for you and you get the 'feel good' factor. It was a good experience and so good, my group of friends have booked for New Year's Eve.
It has good sized car park, but station only 2 minutes walk away. Then conveniently, there is Premium Inn next door.
Fully recommend without hesitation.
S.
Lovely Sunday roast with really nice foodl. Service was excellent and pricing really reasonable. Normally I'd say this type of place was family only but it was nice to be able to sit in a pleasant quiet and nice atmosphere with out all the hustle and bustle of children. Staff were lovely, friendly and welcoming. Great all around. Revisit on the not too distant future.
C. F.
Excellent menu choice. Came in for a date night with my girlfriend. Food tasted brilliant. Both had a sirloin steak, both cooked to specification. Friendly staff and great service from all. Waitress who appeared to be the duty manager showed us to our table and even sorted out a 40% off voucher for us as we had forgotten ours! Would definitely visit again.
A. T.
The rare steak was beautifully cooked along with the chunky chips. The only issue I have is the lack of gluten free desserts.
R. F.
Generally nice and friendly staff and reasonably good food, I took my Mum for. Our joint birthday treat, my only criticism was the service of food too long waiting and by time it came. Out my battered fish was hot but beans and fries all warm as. Was. My coffee on arrival, staff too busy to talk to about it
P. “.
Visited for dinner and breakfast. So impressed with organisation and friendliness of staff. Food could have been a bit cheaper but was excellent on both occasions we visited.
D. H.
A nice pub, but quite expensive. Refillable soft drinks were a nice bonus, although we weren't told how to get a refill. Staff were pleasant but we were very much left, it took a long while to have our order taken and the only time staff came over was to clear plates. They also forgot to bring out the side dish we ordered, although staff were very polite and we did eventually get it, though some 10 minutes into eating. Overall it's okay, but I wouldn't rush back.
Z. E.
Went for a quick drink with my parents before our train home. Quick service, wasnt too busy so we were served quickly, good value drinks. Nice quiet atmosphere to have a chat and enjoy the drinks.
N. C.
Great food. Set menu not as on the menu. Half a chicken turned out to be a chicken stake. Lamb rump a very small portion. Shame that its just not as good as it used to be
K. A.
Great friendly staff. Stake was not cooked to order.
C. 7.
Had a very pleasant experience here. My server's name was Jess, I think, who was very nice and polite.
I had the mixed grill and the steak was cooked exactly how I asked. Even though it was pretty busy (lots of families in as it was Mother's Day) I didn't have to wait very long for my food.
Conclusion : Great food and great service.
R. W.
Good value friendly staff food at affordable prices 👌
K. G.
Lovely food, staff are very friendly and welcoming thankyou 🥰 will be back x
S. M.
Always enjoyed it here, but less to choose from and very little portion sizes for the money, would still recommend
P. C.
Stopped here for breakfast and as a family breakfast is excellent value (paying for adults with kids eat free). The selection means that you won't go hungry from cooked to continental and even bubble and squeak. For the food quality and decor gets 5 stars but the service is the only thing letting it down. Sometimes have to wait to be acknowledged and get served. Long wait to pay but probably due to everybody clearing dinner but not even acknowledgment that you are there.
3 stars is a bit harsh but probably closer to 4
L. C.
Staying in the nabouring premier inn we looked at the menus in the room and decided to eat here. The things we picked from room menus were not available from restaurant menu.
C. F.
Went here for Christmas Dinner.
Was 11 people in total at the table.
Food was brilliant, however the service was very slow. Had a 40 minute wait between starter and main course and another long wait till desserts arrived. 4th course (coffee) never arrived.
Good selection of drinks available from the bar.
J. H.
Wonderful staff, very friendly and happy to be there.
The food was cooked perfectly and was fresh and hot.
We didn't have to wait too long for our meals either which is always a bonus when you have two hungry kids!
I. x.
Went for dinner today. Service from Sophie was amazing and Alex from the bar was super friendly. They were both very professional, polite and had great knowledge on drinks and menu. 100% would come again!!
A. B.
Plenty parking
Good food
Staff where helpful with my gluten allergy.
Breakfast was good although a little look warm.
We would recommend the meal deal if staying in the premier inn.
f. j.
Very good service well cooked steak we both got what we asked for medium and medium rare. Unhurried service as we wanted and a safe environment.
J. B.
I use Premier Inns at least once a week and many have a Beefeater "attached". On Monday, the Beefeater in Sussex were happy for me to 'upgrade' my 'meal deal' lager to San Miguel and pay an extra 50p.
At this one, it wasn't allowed andI would have had to pay full price - ludicrous!
The restaurant wasn't busy but the service was very slow, although our waitress was quite good, apart from calling us 'guys'.
Food was good apart from my side salad being several days old....
Room was fine, as always but no bath in my room and I wasn't told this when booking or checking in.
C. E. S.
Good food and very friendly staff. Next door to the premier inn so just what you need when on business as I was. In particular the breakfast service and staff was great. They would've got a 5 if it wasn't for the two loose paving slabs outside the building. Tripped on one on the way in and that was before the drinks.
R. O.
Enjoyable food prices reasonable. Had mixed grill disappointed at how thin the steak was. Especially as the name beefeater suggests this is something they excel in. Sorry many other establish ments do better. Had a pudding as well. For a fiver the chocolate brownie was meager. Paid £45 for family of 5, not too bad but went away tummy less than full.
w.
Great place to eat, though booking in advance is thoroughly recommended.
Safety of guests is well thought through.... sanitised station on the way in.... and well spaced out tables.
Reduced menu... but dont stress there is plenty to choose from.
Staff quick as can be and always ready to help.
J. F.
We shared the garlic flatbread as a starter. It was ok but would have been better with more garlic butter (I guess if we had asked then more garlic butter would have been provided - next time!). I had the fish and chips as my main. Excellent chips and a superb piece of fish properly cooked. My wife ordered the fillet steak, medium rare. What was served was not acceptable, it did not look like a fillet being thin and scraggly and was dry and grisly so she rejected it. The waitress arranged a replacement which, although still not looking the part actually tasted very good. So, not the best experience but the problem was dealt with quickly and without question, well done that hard working waitress. We will return
J.
My family and myself visited this restaurant this morning Monday 30th Sept for breakfast.
Found the place to be very clean and breakfast bar to be well stocked up.
Was greeted by Shane who was very smartly dressed and well presented.
He greeted us with a smile and was polite and friendly.
Upon ordering the main cooked breakfast it came in good time was hot and well presented on each plate.
Would most definitely visit this Beefeater pub again.
Thankyou Shane and the breakfast chef for a delicious start to our day
l. B.
The best Christmas Dinner I've eaten out in a long time, the staff were brilliant helpful and enthusiastic
H. A.
Very good, thanks
D. S.
Outstanding service during lockdown from the staff. Particular mention for our waitress's Jo and Phoebe. Such cheerful ladies at all times. Would definitely go back.
J. C.
Lots of choice but the quality of the ingredients let's it down unfortunately.
M. T.
Not been to a Beefeater in years! Still quite expensive but food was good. Steak medium was excellent. Covid all good and service from the team was excellent. Would visit again.
M. n.
Thank you Jen G for your great hospitality 😃
L. K. L.
Go here everytine we stop in telford and always excellent food, excellent service.
w. w.
We were ace hear after a protest by the police and have to say think we got lucky. As a wheelchair user I would highly recommend this place for a drink or a meal either while waiting for trains or make a special trip. Totally accessible premises brilliant friendly staff free wifi awesome food and good variety of drinks hot and cold.
D. B.
As we were staying in the Premier Inn, we booked breakfast also. Great food and staff
T. S.
Excellent service, met by a very pleasant young man, who wa polite and caring all through our meal
R. D.
Perfectly acceptable Travelodge with a better than average beefeater attached. Free parking, if you're here on business I've stayed in far worse, if the location suits for personal travel don't expect an amazing hotel with beautiful views however all the basics are in place including great service by all the staff I encountered on my multi day stay.
S. M.
One lady was rather rude and grumpy but on the whole, we enjoyed it, the food was really good - choices of beer and certain starters were limited - but a good evening
C. T.
Last Thursday, 20th August, we booked a table through Premier Inn next door. We were seated on time at 7.15 pm and introduced to the waitress. The staff were very good BUT the service was so slow. We had to wait at least 15 minutes for our drinks, ages for our main meal and we gave up waiting for the puddings we ordered, as they had not arrived by 9.15, TWO HOURS after we had been seated! Obviously understaffed either in the kitchen or in the dining room or both. Less faffing about with introductions and faster service would have made the experience more enjoyable as the food we did have was excellent.
Couldn't fault the breakfast, apart from the coffee which tasted a bit detergentish.
R. V.
We have used the Euston Way for several years, and seen the changes made not all ways for the best! It is geared very much for guests at the Premier Inn next door.
There now seems to be an area perminately laid for breakfast meaning that there is less space for diners. Service is good if you can attract the eye of a server!
The food is adequate and value for money, although starters are not value for money.
Vouchers for money off always seem to be available, which act as any attraction!!
S. D.
Had a mix of staff here, some great and attentive others just seem to forget your there. On more than one occasion they've been sold out on multiple things we've ordered. Foods generally good though.
r. w.
Great service . My steak was cooked just right the chips perfect and My sweet and cuppa was lovely. Recommend this beefeater if your in the area of need to stop off for a meal on your way to your destination.
C.
Food was really good, drinks were well priced.
D. M.
Enjoyed a really nice roast dinner here with my family. Thank you for the patience shown towards my excitable daughter!
L. C.
Food fantastic restaurant clean and modern only thing keeping it from 5 stars were the staff not a smile to be seen *with exception of the young lad on the bar* no check back after serving meals and everything seemed like a lot of trouble even taking our order looked like a chore.
F. F.
Fantastic customer service here, which is sadly lacking in some restaurants, and all our meals were hot and delicious, never seen our 2 boys fight over onion rings, but that happened! Unfortunately we ate the food so quickly that I forgot to take pictures.
S. R.
Food was great but even though table was booked took a while to be seated on both occasions. Staff just looked and walked by. But when we did get table it was in a quiet part and food was top notch.
m. y.
Good food good value staff were friendly and helpful.
A. F.
Staff just seemed to be too busy to be able to manage the number of people in the restaurant. Could have probably used extra staff. Food did not come out in any order. Some people at the table had finished their starter and we're getting their main as others were only getting their starter. Food was nice but let down by lack of organisation.
D. P.
Excellent quality food, staff were very attentive
y.
Lovely Sunday dinner. Worth the 99p for extra roast potatoes, yorkshires and gravy. Kids meal is quite large 3/4 adult size. Didn't have to book and service was very good.
G. S.
Overall there is nothing wrong with beefeater. The food is good and as advertised and the service is ok.
I have expectations that were not met. The chairs, for me, are uncomfortable especially sitting on them for over an hour. Service was slower than i would like. This beefeater is long over due for a face lift. It has a theme but it's not strong enough to give it a name. In other words it lacks character, ambiance, sophistication. If you are a none smoker you have to run the gauntlet of smelly smokers gathered around the entrance, and that smoke is wafted inside.
First course was 3 cheese tasters. They were deep fried. They were small. They were almost indistinguishable from each other. One tasted of fish. My beef burger was good, it had truffle flavoured mayo, i could not detect the flavour, there was something resembling Branston Pickle. The chocolate ice cream sunday was to die for. My wife had no complaints
E. R.
Just overpriced place. I went in with my miss. After they showing our table, guy asked if we want anything for a drink. I ask for coffee ant beer. And was very surprised, when he don't ask which beer I want 😁. So I got light beer which I don't like 😂 Food was not hot enough from kitchen. So I juust don't bother to ask fgor replacement. Especially at this time they weren't busy. Who helps this place is girls who work down here. Because they know how to work with clients.
Maybe it's my luck, but definitely not coming back.
P. W.
Went for meal with my sister and my son the food was really good, the restaurant was clean and welcoming Jan g the waitress went above and beyond to give us an enjoyable experience thank you for pleasant evening would recommend this restaurant and certainly Jan g,s friendliness
L. E.
I had a lovely experience. Katie was pleasant, very accommodating for my unique requests.
Service was very fast and, lovely environment and food was very delicious.. big thumbs up 👍👍
P. H.
Its good food if they have not run out of it !!!!!
Ask what they don't have before choosing
C. P.
Disappointing went in for a steak meal being as this is a Steak House. Got told no steaks were available wife asked for beer battered fish and chips unavailable. She settled for sausage and mash, the ssusages she found very spicey. I had lasagna it was hot but very bland. Would i go back? I dont think so! Staff were polite through out though
R. S.
Stopped in for a quick pint whilst waiting for my train. Clean and tidy place, food and drink is available, your regular Beefeater restaurant I suppose.
Its proximity to the train station is useful for those like me who arrived a bit too early for the train. Get yourself a bite to eat and a drink whilst waiting, why not?
T.
Fantastic food. Had the surf and turf combo. Lobster mac n cheese, calemares and kings prawns were great. Steak cooked to perfection full of flavour
D. H.
nice food, busy and had to wait for service in between courses. Not too long a wait, just were not able to attract service when required. Still, will definetly be visiting again.
P. E.
Decent food at a reasonable price with very nice service. We popped in after a train journey on a Friday night and with nothing booked. They were very accommodating and we'll go again.
A. B.
Lovely food and good service
N. Z.
Friendly, helpful staff and good food. Enjoyed the steak which was cooked as requested. As this is adjacent to the Premier Inn, there is a mix a people but whilst busy, it wasn't crowded.
G. F.
Disappointing meal, reduced menu and 1 veggie option, even side orders removed. (due to Covid19), staff seemed fed up and not very eager to help. It's a real shame, they have let themselves down.
J. H.
The breakfast is good value, and the staff are friendly. It took a while to get our order taken, but other than that it was good for a cheap breakfast.
D. H.
Brilliant staff, friendly and accommodating. Just a hop skip and jump to a delicious meal.
J. C.
Visited whilst on holiday. Well cooked, well presented food. Brill prices, tastecard accepted too.
Congratulations to Lauren, who dealt with a sensitive problem nearby, with diplomacy, expertise and aplomb. Well done.
K. H.
Really loved this place, it has great food and service, can't wait to go back again!
c. b.
Food was ok. Plates need to be hot, not luke warm, the food went cold very quickly. Everything could do with a good clean also as a lot of items including; menus, tables and cutlery
s. t.
It was full of bnp but otherwise drinks were good
M. T.
Nice place with peculiar themed decorations, that's personality I'd say. Kind and attentive waitress. The steak was a bit dry though, or it might be because I ordered it weeeell done! 🙂
T. S.
Steak was very good however ordered medium rare closer to rare. Rib eye needed a little longer and needed to rest. But enjoyed triple cut chips nice.
D. E.
Fantastic meal tonight with sensible COVID precautions taken by all staff. Felt very comfortable and safe. Food was great!
S. B.
The food is great but the service is awful 30mins before we got a drink and then only because my grandson shouted the waitress. Need to get their act together with front of house !!!!
N. D.
Service was quick, staff friendly. Good food, better with a coupon. Nothing overly fancy though.
j. b.
Super friendly staff and good quality food.
P. E.
Bit slow service and food came with not all the ingredients supplied. They were quick correcting it.
l. g.
Stopped in for a quick drink before our train, bar tender was helpful in recommending drinks. Reasonable price, lovely to have a cider sitting in the sunshine outside.
L. B.
Absolutely amazing meal, Daniel and Janet G were absolutely brilliant, nice hot food and first class service from the both of them. Can not fault at all
S. H.
Had a lovely meal with friends and family tonight.
The food was great.
A big thank you too the staff.
L. H.
Had the dinner and breakfast deal as staying in the Premier Inn next door, which is good value. Food was generally good, service wasn't bad but order taking was slow.
S. W.
Had a lovely meal from the evening savers menu, rib eye steak was very juicy and the taste from the char grill is fantastic. Service was very good, couldn't have asked for more really.
P. B.

S. V.
Food was pretty good. But staff looked like they were really busy and food took a little while to arrive.
A. B.
Nice & clean, service was very good, food was lovely.
K. R.
For place restaurant that has limited food, drink and staff, they did alright. No issues my end
J. K.
Booked in for festive menu after going to the pantomime. Rounded the afternoon off perfectly. Food was excellent and service was great couldn't fault .
T.
Beautiful meal . We ate from the festive menu. Good value for £18. 95 for 3 courses
R. E.
Beer good if you wanted food 40 min plus wait not a problem if you want something cooked lots of people left only problem large area set up for Premier inn breakfast that's a lot of covers lost
r. a.
Good pint of ale and home made beef crisps
D. L.
Nice coffee in the sun outside today! Parking fee reimbursed. Going to try a meal there next as it looks good and welcoming inside.
c. t.
Busy place, meals came out quickly & we're really nice, reasonable prices & lunch time offers. Friendly staff.

Good food, service can be a little slow but staff are lovely
J. N.
Very good of its type. Good menu choice and nice to be able to get a steak meal for 600 calories. Good breakfast.
A. L.
Great team of staff, very helpful towards disabled people. Lovely menu and food was also excellent. Definitely recommended.
C. S.
Good beefeater restaurant. Was having some issues with lack of availability of full menu when we visited as their 40% reduction offer for half term caused a run on the expensive end of the menu.
G. T.
Freindly staff good choice of menu
P. W.
On arrival you usually have a wait to be greeted and shown to a table, when the food arrives it is always very nice, the staff always seem happy to help once you do get their attention.
P. T.
Hi sat waiting along time for food and drink , been here for 3 nights and not got any better as week gone on
B. &. L.
Excellent, first class service from staff. Made experience. Relates to trip a few weeks ago but very good
R. P.
Very friendly staff. Food pretty good.
P. B.
Nice and clean, main course was nice turkey and roast , kids meal was ok
but desert was a let down, they really need to be trained how to server a "Chocolate Bomb"
N. B.
Food is consistent but the experience marred by the aircon. No sooner had the main meal arrived the air conditioning was on and my rib eye and fries got blasted, cold food not good
s. b.
Slow service despite not being particularly busy with staff not proactively safeguarding children from language inappropriate for their age. Reminder of an old "Inn" food tepid
J. C.
Lovely food and staff working under pressure due to staff and food shortages
R. W.
Really enjoyed our meals for mums birthday. Waitress very helpful and pleasant. Will be back.
E. B.
Nice interior, friendly staff. Food typical of a 'chain' type pub/restaurant. Not the best, but, you could find worse.

S. T.

First meal in sometime at beefeater Telford (or any beefeater) and it was pretty good! The waitress was brilliant and took care of us all very well.
D. B.
Had a lovely breakfast today on my 21'st everything was lovely a big thank you to all of the staff, Especially Mark the manager, Jan and Carlton the chef,
L.
Always a pleasant visit when we come here, staff friendly and welcoming. Never wait too long for food.
N. W.
Telford central train station is a pretty bleak place and the beefeater is a typical soulless chain pub attached to a travel lodge. Nothing else in area so Hobson's choice but most largers are £4+ which seems excessive for such a low key area. May e walk ten minutes to the spoons.
D. F.
No complaints, usual good beefeater breakfast, remember too make your own toast if you order poached eggs
G. B.
Had a fabulous breakfast once again ... 4th visit . Would definatly recommend. No waiting . Pleasant staff
S. W.
Great service even though they were extremely busy. Great food good service and accessible for wheelchair user thank you

Easy to find, simply head towards Telford central railway station or look for the Premier Inn which is next door. During warmer months one can eat outside.
M. W.

D. H.

A. B.
Food very good, both evening meal and breakfast (staying nextdoor in Premier Inns) excellent service and very pleasant staff
C. F.
It is what it is, the company was great, the Beefeater usual pretending to be gastro pub food, but it just feels school dinner prepared....
T. C.
Good before I get the train, nice pint.
S. F.
Only went here for breakfast while staying at the Premier Inn next door. Would recommend using this one rather than the disorganised mess next to Premier Inn Telford Newport.
