The staff were excellent and very friendly expecially Claire and Helen always a good laugh and professional. The food is excellent and a great choice. Would recommend over any other chippy in telford.Portion size fantastic and staff always keep the shop clean and to a high standard. Working in the heat just recently must have been very hard but service was 100%

Staff work so hard dealing with uber, phone orders and shop customers, and always give 100%. Shame so many keyboard warriors feel the need to disrespect those working hard who are doing their best. Helen is always firm but fair and goes above and beyond, always making customers satisfied. Too many people post bad reviews rather than approaching the manager which leaves me questioning how true their complaint is. If you have an issue speak face to face or via a phone call DONT hide behind a computer screen!!!

I used to come here A LOT about 6 years ago. I'm unsure if the same staff work here, but I was only 17 and in a homeless shelter at the time and my 15 year old brother was staying with me. We were both in education and I literally had no way of feeding him. I came here to get a bag of chips for us to share (our only meal of the day) and since it was near closing time the chip shop gave us loads of free food. They weren't aware of my situation but it is something I will always be grateful for.

Working in the area so we popped up the road for lunch. The flying fish has very nice food and friendly staff. I would definitely recommend them to anyone 👍

In my opinion best chippy around. Go to chips and donna meat with sweet chilli sauce and never fails to please. Donner meat is allways cooked after shaving it off so you get some crispy bits. Flvery friendly service to

Foods always yummy. The owner is lovely and friendly. Reason for a star drop... some staff are so rude. No thanks at all. Oh, also. 'Order kebabs on arrival' sign. I tried to do this and was rudely told to do it at the bottom. Tried to order at the bottom and rudely told by other staff... I have to wait until I reach a certain point in the queue. Maybe a sign to say 'order kebabs here' at the place required would be more suitable.

Great food and brilliant customer service. I would definitely recommend this chippy. Food is always delicious (nice and fresh) and the ladies are all really friendly and helpful, the manager is a fine example to her employees and always has a smile on her face. Good value for money too. :)

Been going to the flying fish for years and until recently always been happy with the food here which I've commented on and left a good review. The last 2 visits have been somewhat disappointing. Chips where very greasy and stodgy. I hope this is just a one off and they will.be back to there usual high standard soon. If not will be going elsewhere for the first time in 20 + years.

We use this place regularly when we fancy a chippy, great food, great portions, brilliant staff. The only reason I didn't top it off with 5 stars is because sometimes the chips don't seem like they are cooked enough (I could say this is mainly due to how busy they are they dont want to keep people waiting which is really nice) and you dont get enough curry/gravy with selected meals, so I usually tend to order an extra small pot of sauce too. But other than that, would recommend to anyone!

Very nice fish and chips. They have some weekday specials which I find are quite good. The prices seem reasonable. Regarding wheelchairs there seems to be abit of a tight turn right near the door which could be a problem if there's appt of people.
