We stopped off here for refreshments after a walk. It was homely and stylishly decorated. The woman serving us was wonderful. We we’re new to the area and she told us all the places to visit and see. It made a huge difference to the rest of our stay. Thank you. Definitely recommend.

Staff (waitress/hostess) very nice and takes this from 2 to 3 stars. It should be said they were terribly understaffed today..and I know it's Stockton heath - but 10 quid for the large full English is bad. It's all supermarket bog standard ingredients, even the bread. Nothing special at all. AND the quantity is poor too. Literally Morrisons or Asda sausages, black pudding, few mushrooms etc. And a cup of tea costs 2.75? It's not total ripoff territory, it's just dissapointing. Edit in response to response. As I said already, the staff did a really terrific job in the circumstances. I just think the breakfast was pretty average and slightly overpriced. I get it's not an easy task when understaffed, and you can't exactly close on a Saturday, but I can't see the quality increasing dramatically regardless of how many staff there are. Like I said. Dissapointing because it's underwhelming. That's all.

This is the third time I've visited Bus Stop and I'm sad to say we were very disappointed. After previously giving the cafe a glowing 5 star review I've had to reduce this to 3 stars due to our most recent experience We booked for lunch at 12 and when we arrived were given breakfast and lunch menus. On ordering however we were told the lunch menu including the specials on the board were not available as the team hadn't had time to get lunch ready, so only breakfast was available for the day - this seemed bizarre and since we wanted lunch we were disappointed Next, when the food arrived an hour later is was quite basic and the stodgy pancakes left us feeling weighed down for the rest of the day. Finally when we got the bill, the price of the pancakes was £8 however on the menu they were £7.50 - when we asked about this we were told the menu was old and not update and that £8 was the "right" price. While this was only 50p we felt misold and wondered why the menus were so old. I would like to say everyone that works here is lovely but unfortunely they seem to be let down by some of the organisation side around prepping for lunch in time and keeping their menus up to date. Each of the problems with our visit were small but together and with no communication about them upfront this led to a bad experience and I'm sorry to say that we won't be coming back

A little disappointing really I had egg and beans on toast it was average and hot chocolate was lukewarm, my friend's omelette was beautiful but again drink was average and toast nothing special.

I only popped in for a quick coffee but enjoyed every second. Megan was so polite to myself and the other customers in the café. I was made to feel very welcome from the moment I walked in. I will definitely be in for another lovely coffee and next time, I will have some food too because it all looked delicious!

The Bus Stop is a cosy clean bistro type cafe that supplies classic well presented tasty food. A little overpriced maybe but no worse than others in the area. Two downsides on our recent visit: the three inconsiderate ladies sat in a window seat with extremely loud voices that were impossible to blot out.(one of them due to be married) Sigh of relief from customers after the ladies left, then the atmosphere was very pleasant. Albeit, being incredibly hot in there. Customers kept opening the door but apparently this causes an issue in the kitchen, really needs air conditioning or a large fan. Will go again, as the Bistro staff cant sift out thoughtless customers.

We ate here last night on our date night to celebrate getting our first house together and to say goodbye to Warrington. From the welcome to the service throughout Meg was her usual joyful self. The food was amazing as was the wine. We stayed on for a few more drinks and shared some laughs and made a night of it. We are not moving far so will definitely be back again, soon. It's a place we end up in atleast once a month. We like the staff the best; always friendly. The food is good too. Breakfast however was quite disappointing. It was the first time we has breakfast there and the small breakfast (I think that's what it's called) was not worth the money and the bacon was burnt. Now, this is not a review for my last experience only, so the place is a 4*. They have nice open air seating in the back. Inside, it's a little cramped and it's almost impossible to get the seats by the window but it's still cozy.

Went here for a private birthday function for around 25 of us. We all chose from the menu beforehand and had a good selection to choose from. The food was served in good time and was lovely, I really can’t fault it at all. They have a good selection of beers and wines and the staff were very attentive and polite. The venue is well done too, somewhere I would visit again

We love this place and have driven to Stockton Heath quite a few times especially to have breakfast there. Today we took our two young sons there for an early evening meal as a family treat. Every time we go the food is great and the customer service is second to none. The two lads who looked after us were very welcoming, really friendly and just genuinely nice blokes. Would thoroughly recommend this little gem to anyone and will be back again soon.

3 of us went here for tea, around half 5 on Saturday. We loved it as soon as we walked in. The decor is perfect, the ambience and music was great The manager/waiter was so polite and friendly, my wife is now madame Carole.😀. The food was fabulous, and lot’s for my wife with being a veggie. Love this new bar. As soon as you walk in, it feels like a good place to be. The staff are really friendly and helpful. The selection of drinks I'd great. They even have a little courtyard out the back where you can enjoy your drinks in the sun!! They also do a great selection of food, not that I've tried it, but it looks amazing!! All in all, I highly recommend Bus Stop in Stockton Heath.

Good food but don't pop in if you want a quick bite to eat. There are signs informing you that food is freshly prepared and the wait can be 30 to 40 minutes but ours was a little quicker than that. Sandwiches have tasty fillings and are served with a good fresh salad with a nice dressing. My only complaint would be that the high quality food is let down a bit by the bread which is from a sliced loaf. Apart from that, all was good.

My family arranged 2 parties here for my 50th over the weekend. Saturday, buffet style for friends, Sunday and amazing roast dinner for family. It was great, as my under 18 neice was able to join us for both parties, many places wouldn't allow her or said she would need to leave by 7/8pm. We all had an amazing time, we really can't recommend you highly enough for what you deserve. The food, service, atmosphere was second to none. I was taken to The Ivy on Friday evening, and you equally met that standard, so really, thank you so much. My family and friends have had nothing but fantastic words to say, we come for breakfast as often as we are in Stockton heath with friends who attended both days, they said they'd now use you for any parties the held, and so many of our guests asked us what your menus were. One of my brother's (who is a real foodie) was super impressed and has every intention of visiting you in the near future, and my twin (who is far from an expert but very difficult to please) has not stopped praising both parties. So again a big thank you.

Bus Stop has tables inside and also in a courtyard at the rear, accessed through the cafe. Food and beverages are excellent as is the service. The area at the rear is dog friendly. You will not be disappointed if you visit.

Both times staff were super friendly and the food really plentiful, tasty..cakes are out of this world... Its always busy so you may have to wait a little while but relax and enjoy it rather than rush as it's a cosy independent and makes a great change from the standard high street offerings..

Staff were friendly despite being slightly incompetent (we’re talking wrong orders and iced coffee in mugs), and food/coffee were very average for the price. Lotus biscuit was class though👌 However the place is literally bus themed so not sure what I was expecting!
