We come here a lot and the food is amazing every single time. Never had any issues and Jackie who works here is wonderful! The last time we went I had the biggest headache ever and couldn't enjoy the food as couldn't focus. Jackie got me a to go box and I enjoyed the food the next day. Incredible service and super friendly staff! 11/10

Lovely environment and attentive serives. One of the best steak we had in town, crispy at the surface, juicy inside, wonderful cook!! Side dishes are brilliant not to be missed as well. Just the burger for kids are a bit small in portion but the 2 course kids meal with calamari and garlic bread are definitely a good portion.

I visited this place with my friends after Ikea trip. Very convenient only 5 to 10 minutes drive. We were lucky, it was sunny day and we could sit outside. Parking is no problem. Food was gorgeous and big portions, all the staff was nice,smiling and checking on us all the time. We all had salad because it was so hot and as a dessert an ice cream.

The staff who served us drinks and food were amazing! I'm just frustrated with myself for not remembering their names. Their customer service was second to none and both are an asset to your team and company. Food was lovely as always, only thing I would change would be a side of greens instead of a lettuce to go with the steak. The pudding was outstanding and I can wait to come back for more!! We have already been recommending to friends and family and honestly can't wait to come back! (The one tiny thing, if I am to be very very picky there was no one at the door/bar when we arrived and it took some time for someone to greet us and take us to our table).

We had a lovely meal, we used a gift voucher I was given for miller and carter. we usually go Cheshire oaks restaurant when we dine at miller and carter. However,we will be changing to the Warrington store as the building itself it much more nicer. Also the staff was Amazing and I am convinced even the food tasted nicer. Will definitely be back again

It was perfect steak, salad and fries, but the waiting time is absurd. The steak i asked for was medium rare but was very good. The fries and salad was perfect and the strawberry lemonade was amazing but I request that making things should be faster and by starters, they should be made at a reasonable time to keep customers waiting.

Well worth a visit. I've been to other Miller And Carter restaurants and never had a bad experience. This was no exception. My first time at Warrington. A warm, friendly welcome with attentive but not overbearing staff and great food (which is what you go for!).

Exceptional food for a reasonable price. Sunday has a special three course menu for £28.95 each. Save a few quid on steaks and burgers. Went for the Dirty Burger. It's sooo good. Messy but tasty as hell. M&C is a standard tea after shopping in IKEA just over the road. Better than meatballs? Totally!! But way more expensive. Worth every penny.

The restaurant is well presented on the outside, with a large rustic facade, which is clean and has a nice outdoor area. The inside you have a choice of bright window tables / bar area, or with tables and booths away from the windows. Depending on where you sit, you can get a glimpse of the kitchen, where the chefs prepare your dishes. Staff are friendly and helpful, and the food is good. The presentation was great, and the taste was good (2/3 were great), however not amazing. I was expecting a little more given the price, but I accept this is dependent on what I ordered. 2 I'd recommend are below. Overall a good experience. The service really stood out. Will have to sample more of the menu before I consider this a great place to dine. Dishes: 1. Beef Barbacoa Stuffed Yorkies ❌ 2. Nachos with chilli (larger / sharing) ✔️ 3. We went to Miller & Carter in December for my birthday,we thoroughly enjoyed it,the meal was very good & the staff were very friendly & efficient a lovely experience.However trying to book a table for my husband's birthday next Wednesday is impossible,we phoned to book a table when a message came & said to leave your phone number as it was busy,we have done this 3 times now in different days & nobody has phoned back even though they said they would,also trying to book online have done this twice but got no confirmation of the booking,this us a shame as they have lost custom.

Great place to eat, strange building is massive but always looks small inside. Anyway steak is good hear as it most of what's on the menu and believe me I've tried most of it, tomahawk for one! *Edit* downrated to a 3 star following a recent visit, this place lacks consistency one day it’s great the next it’s poop. For a steak house their ability to cook steak to how you want it shouldn’t be a challenge but it would appear everything is “well done” starters arrived cold in parts and the mains where also only warm :( It’s a shame really because other visit have been great but I’m fed up playing roulette with this place.

We came on a Saturday afternoon having booked online (which was easy). It was about half full but still had to wait a little while to be seated. We had food off the fixed price menu, I think being on the cheaper menu meant they cut back on quantity because portions not the best. The food was nice, nothing special (so loses half a star). The other half star is because the menu is pretty expensive for what it is.

I was taken for my birthday and I must say it was great! The food and service was fabulous!! We weren't rushed, seated after we had drinks at the bar and had good service from Bevin. We ate everything as the food was exceptional! If you've not been, I would recommend that you go! The only thing I would say is that we were sat next to a fire door which some of the people kept leaving open as they went in and out. Miller and Carter would do better to get rid of the table as there are a lot of people walking past you.

Situated just off the M62 within a stones throw to Gemini retail park, so handy if you want to give your credit card a workout first. A nice atmosphere with more of an intimate feel about the place with its subtle lighting and cozy decor. A varied menu selection to be had with a slightly higher than average price point, that being said the offerings are worthy of the extra spend. Martin who looked after us was very pleasant and attentive to our needs making our overall experience a very good one.

The reason I've given 4 stars and not 5....the decor and the service are very good,but for me and my friend,the choice of lunch was a bit limited ! We both chose one of the salads because we were wanting a "light" lunch. Wow.....our plates came with a full half of an iceberg lettuce simply cut in half! There were other bits etc on the plate,but by the time I'd managed to eat my way through that amount of lettuce,I joked with the young waitress that I was probably going to "turn into a rabbit"! Shame really, don't think I'll go there again!

No they didn't have the one I wanted, staff at the back of the bar too noisy and I could hear conversations with f words. We went tonight for a birthday meal. The service was excellent and the food tasted good. A £152 for four people sounded expensive for four steaks a bottle of house wine and three drinks but I'm not a big restaurant goer so what do I know. However, what brings down the stars was the state of the toilets, always a good marker of a good establishment. The gents were swimming in water. I don't know why, maybe plumbing, maybe the roof but if you're paying this money I expect someone permanently on mopping up duty. I stress this is a management issue not the fault of the hardworking young staff.

The place is really nicely presented, although it was very busy considering the current covid restrictions. Unfortunately we were both massively underwhelmed with our meals for the money. There was nothing wrong with the meals and they were perfectly lovely. I just can't see the appeal for the money. Sorry. My wife had the cookies and cream desert and it was an expensive desert for three little scoops of vanilla ice cream that was nothing better than Asdas own and a cookie the size of two fingers that was over done!

After going through the lockdown and keeping to the guidelines, it was so lovely to be finally able to go back to one of my favourite restaurants. The safety measures put in place were beyond adequate. All tables seemed to be more than the two metres apart which felt really spacious and very safe. The staff cleaned every table and seat thoroughly after a customer had left, another reason to feel good. Then there was the much missed steak. It was bliss to have a great steak meal again, in familiar, but slightly altered surroundings. We had a lovely meal there and I can't wait to go again.

Friday evening, first visit and no booking. Silly mistake to make, but after a short wait (long enough to order drinks from the bar) a table was ready. There is no mistaking this place is better than the norm. Great furnishings and fittings. A very comfortable place to be. A great selection on the menu especially for steak lovers. I had never tried Chateau Briand before so we decided to share this King of the steaks. It was plenty when shared so more than enough for one, and it was an absolute delight. Sharing actually also made this cheaper than the smaller, lesser steaks on offer so pretty pleased with that. All in all a great place to dine. We will be back.

Really nice food, can't make my mind up if it's a pub or not! Went for a birthday meal as a party of 7, we ended up sitting in a line which meant I couldn't speak to half of the party. The food is very good although the garnish seems to be somewhat pointless (dry and sparse), the evening menu is very expensive for what is essentially a pub meal, Miller and Carter seems to make out that it is a posh steakhouse but it isn't anything more than a pub with nice food. Go for the 'lunch' menu which is much less expensive and is served until 6.30 weekdays and 5 Friday and Saturday, two courses for £10.95 or three courses for £13.95. Surroundings are nice except for the toilets which are disgusting and hadn't been cleaned all day, would return but only as a couple not a family.

The steaks we had here were excellent and perfectly cooked, I don't see the point of serving a lettuce quarter drowned in sauce which made it inedible, the onion loaf was a bit soggy and lacked seasoning, I was not keen on my mushroom sauce but that was a matter of taste. The desserts were a total disappointment the so called eton mess was just whipped cream with fruit and way too little meringue, more like a tiny sprinkle, guys that is NOT an eton mess, my friend had the chocolate bomb which was so solid we couldn't cut it, he had to pick it up to eat it, not what you expect to do in a restaurant, did mention all this to waitress.

The staff were slow, inattentive and we watched one waitress catch a sneeze in her hand and then proceed to take to meals away. Hygiene issues aside the food was also just ok. The whole experience left you feeling like you went for a meal at the hungry horse chain rather than at, what I was led to believe, is a nice restaurant. Maybe Warrington just let's the others down 🤷‍♂️. The venue itself was very nice.

We ate there yesterday 17th September. Booked the table on line and were guided straight to our seats (which were in a booth) upon arrival. Although it was only 6 o'clock the restaurant was almost full. We had the Pork Belly in a Ginger Beer Glaze and Chicken Skewers in a Bourbon glaze for starters.Both of these were fantastic. As we had our 12 year old with us we asked if it would be possible to have a plain chicken breast and chips for him. Although not on the menu, this wasn't an issue at all. We both had steaks which were cooked and seasoned to absolute perfection. Service was absolutely brilliant and we were pleasantly suprised by the bill. Only possible criticism is that the desert menu was rather limited. Would highly recommend eating here but make sure you book in advance!

Not really suitable for me, it's for people who love steak. which is of course your main menu, given that anything I was going to choose I abandoned, it either had Garlic, chilli , or other things I don't like served with it, I had the ribeye, I asked for medium. It was more medium rare, very red in the middle, and had a couple of pieces of fat. The lettice plain as all the dressing for it were all unsuitable for me, I would have liked proper veg with it, instead of looking arranged very pretty on the plate, a twig of green stuff. tiny bit of tomato, and over cooked onion, very greasy. out of all of it, the potatoe, was the best bit of the meal. over priced as well. will I go back , only if family insist it's where they want to eat. I'll have the fish next time.

The shared Nachos starter was only slightly warm with cheese, salsa and guacamole somewhat thrown on. Have seen better presented Nachos at the Odeon! The main courses were ok, nothing spectacular. Sadly this is an expensive meal that we won't be repeating anytime soon. The staff were pleasant but the food was average.

back up to 4 stars based on our most recent visits though we do now stick to the basic steaks and sometimes the 50 day aged ones. We've now been about 12 times. 2 course lunch for £10.95 is still good value and runs to 6.30pm (5 pm Friday and Saturday ) and recommend the caramel apple crumble tart which isn't on the main dessert menu. Have previously been disappointed with the special butchers block shared meal which is 3 * 50 day aged steaks and some smoked brisket stew served on a bone. Of the 3 steaks the fillet was good but the rump and rib-eye were hard to tell apart. The one we think was the rump was served thick and I prefer rump steak thinner and larger. This was the toughest steak which is to be expected but we've had more tender rump steaks. The rib-eye was the same shape and size i.e. only slightly bigger than the fillet. Unfortunately the texture was like a toughish piece of sirloin. They offered to cook us another but we were half way through the meal by then so didn't bother, but should have as the offer of a discount didn't materialise when we paid the bill. Waitresses still very attentive and friendly, and the other meals were good. The only other time we've had the 50 day aged rib eye it was tougher than the standard rib eye so suggest sticking to the normal (cheaper) steaks. Like others have said still not sure I get the lettuce wedge thing, would prefer a choice

Booked here for New Year's eve 2017/18, paid what we believed to be a premium for for a special occasion, but was bitterly disappointed. The glass of Prosecco on arrival was the only difference to other diners who were choosing from the normal main menu. Our waitress (Fiona) was excellent but could not confirm that the table was ours for the evening, until towards the end of our visit. Some little things not done made all the difference like cold plates, unlit table lights (oil lamp), and to top it all the deposit we had paid to secure the table for New Year's eve had not been deducted from our bill!!! Until I questioned it. We live very local to the Miller & Carter Warrington, but it will be a long time, if ever, before we return to this venue. Shocking response, or rather lack of!

Then to have the waiter question me on what i had ordered was annoying when he had clearly got it wrong. Then birthday cake came and had to eat with fingers as got fed up of waiting for cutlery. Waiter who was serving us was clearly miserable over something and didnt seem to enjoy his job. Ordered through Deliveroo, the steak was fab as always but one of the main reasons I come the the Miller and Carter is because of the wedge with honey mustard and bacon I feel like it completes the experience but as we did not receive them the meal was sadly let down

We are fans of the Miller & Carter chain. This one is a nice place, we have visited a few times, but every time we visit the staff forget something, whether it's a drink or a side, there's always something amiss. We have been served by 4 different members of staff who have all done the same thing. I think we've given up on this one now. We'll be heading into Liverpool instead.

Miller and carter Warrington is an experience not to be missed, however I can't say the same for the one off the east lances road. There we had look warm food over cooked steak, I would really recommend the restaurant at Warrington.

We stopped here after shopping in IKEA, we were going to visit the IKEA canteen but there was so many people waiting it looked like a red cross relief effort! so we decided hold back our hunger and look elsewhere. Miller & Carter popped up on google and we thought we'd give it a try, very upmarket look, staff were friendly and prompt. Food was fantastic with good portion sizes, overall very happy we decided to skip the IKEA cattle market in favour of a more refined experience. Will definately visit next time were in Warrington.

Succulent rib eye steak, cooked to perfection - the chef refused to send out his first creation (never got to see it, but thanks man!!), followed by complimentary drinks for the delay, then a wonderful set meal followed:- an excellent end to a fantastic weekend. I have dined at Miller & Carter in Talke frequently and having recently moved into the area I was looking forward to visiting the one in Warrington. I visited on 8th June for a birthday meal. The ribeye steak was as tasty but the onion loaf side was a mushy mess and the blue cheese sauce rather too peppery. When it came to dessert I was going to order the raspberry brûlée. I did not order this as we were informed the flame gun was broken so they could not do the caramelised topping. My friend went ahead and ordered it but when it arrived there was not a raspberry in sight! We called the waiter over to ask why this was and were informed that someone in the kitchen had forgotten to order the raspberries and proceeded to charge us for a raspberry brûlée, which was actually a small pot of custard. Very disappointing! I am a big fan of Miller and Carter restaurants so will try again and hopefully next time the quality will be better. Paula
