Beautiful restaurant and lovely food 😊. We though the lunch menu would be a bit less impressive, as it was 3 courses at a great price. But as you can see the food was amazing! Also the lady who served us was really friendly, will definitely visit again thanks 😊

Went for lunch menu, well priced and good quality food. I had the mushroom bruschetta for starters and fish & chips for mains. We've been before for the a la carte menu, highly recommend eating here and the wine bar next door is great too.

After passing by the restaurant for a year, living just a mile from it, we had a family meal. 12 of us, and it was fantastic. Great staff, lots of room around the tables, and great food. I had fish and chips and it was big and tasty. 🤙

The venue and the food was excellent and could not be faulted. The only reason I scored so low was I noted that as we were only two, and there were some big tables in, the other tables received priority service leaving two females trying and failing to get attention. We felt we were not important enough in financial terms as the bigger tables. We waited an unacceptably long time between courses and to to receive the bill, and when it arrived we were left so long we stood up and went to the front desk to pay as we wanted to leave. The girl we spoke to though pleasant was unapologetic and said many customers liked to wait a while before paying their bill. Maybe if drinking coffee etc. Which were were not as we had finished ours ages ago due to waiting for the bill in the first place. I would go again as the food was lovely compliments to the chef, but if the service is as was, I would not return.

So impressed with the food we had last night- everything was top quality and well presented from start to finish. Prawns were beautiful, my boyfriend said his steak was one of the best he’d ever had and we cleared every single plate. Staff were really friendly, service was quick and as it was post lockdown the tables were really well spread out and felt very safe. Will definitely be back soon!

A nice improvement from the last time. Greeted at the door, taken to our table. We order our meals. This taken a long while. 30mins. We did get an apology for the management. All our meals looked good and tasted wonderful. Although I would like gravy on my Sunday meal. Not a spoonful. We asked for a gravy boat. And was given a cupfull of gravy! Odd. We ordered sweets. Again they looked great but were tiny in size. I can recommend the coffee. It was very nice. On the whole it was a nice meal. Even if service was very slow. Watch the prices of drinks. I don't know if this place is being a restaurant. Or gastro pub! I

Restaurant was empty only one a big table by the window and they try to sit us next to it? Every other table was available and no try to seat us 1 or 2 tables away? No customer no privacy... Meal was ok pasta too spicy lots of sausage and not enough seafood and the stroganoff instead of beef half of stroganoff were red peppers, not acceptable! Price was reasonable, but need not attention to detail. and staff are polite, but need hospitality training!

First visit today and hopefully not the last. Had afternoon tea as a birthday treat and it was lovely with a rarity of tea and coffee refills which you don't usually get. The tea consisted of wraps, sandwiches and quiche with scones and cream and a nice selection of mini cakes all presented beautifully. The restaurant is very nicely decorated with excellent disabled facilities. All staff were efficient and attentive without being over the top. All areas were absolutely spotless. Well worth a visit

Well what can I say ? Very surprised at the whole experience, staff were second to none, absolutely fantastic, very smart and extremely helpful and welcoming, the food was incredible, I was in a very large party and the food was delivered to the table at a very rapid rate , All hot and delicious, at no point was I let down and very good comments from others in the party . Definitely worth a visit and would recommend anytime day of the week . 08/2022 Second Review Totally wonderful evening with Family ages 10 - 80 . Amazingly delicious food from starters to desert , every Family member had a fantastic experience empty plates all round , Staff extremely welcoming and friendly, could not fault the service definitely a 10/10 , food was piping Hot and cooked to perfection. Took some friends of mine to Olivers for a late Sunday lunch. The restaurant was lovely & the atmosphere was relaxed with background music. We had an absolutely delicious meal here tonight, we booked our table for 6pm, seated straight away with menus and our drinks. The food was so good, hot fresh and tasty huge compliments to the chef. The lady serving us (a young with glasses and dark hair unfortunately didnt catch her name) was so attentive, and polite. The upstairs ladies room was immaculate and smelled beautiful. Thankyou so much to all the staff we had a lovely family meal.

Lovley staff , food average . We had veggie / vegan options . Poor vegan section , had roast dinner which was average. Told all ice - cream was vegan , but this wasn't on the menu 😕, and I was surprised?

Lovely environment, food was well presented. Expensive, for reasonable tasting food - some dishes tasted really nice, others were just average. Staff are very attentive though and I guess this is where the cost comes in. Fortunately the owners have chosen to extend the Eat Out to Help Out scheme at their own expense, which makes it reasonable. Nice place, would definitely come again.

Really lovely Sunday Roast, been a couple of times now and have enjoyed very much. I would say the Sunday Lunch veg portions could be a little bigger, but very nice food and I might just be being greedy! Both times I have been in as a couple, there were tables with +6 people and I felt that the staff weren't as attentive to us. Hence the 4 stars.

Food and staff are great. But I would not reserve as this means giving them all my personal details. Including my e-mail and phone number etc. I find this VERY off putting and quite bizarre. You don't know these people, and It''s everywhere, small business's etc asking for all our private information with utterly no regard for the dats protection act. They often sell this information to cold calling companies. I mean why else do they compile all this data. Put me right off... MY PERSONAL DETAILS ARE NONE OF YOUR BUSINESS I JUST WANTED TO LITERALLY EAT SOME FOOD. GIVE EVERY CUSTOMER YOUR PERSONAL DETAILS AS THEY ENTER HOW ABOUT THAT AND FOR ALL THE STAFF. I MEAN WHY NOT SHARE AND SHARE ALIKE. LUDICROUS AND BERSERK IF YOU ASK ME

The restaurant were kind enough to take a booking for a 50th Birthday party, split across 3 tables to comply with social distancing rules. Everybody enjoyed their meal and it was nice to get out as a family for the first time together since lockdown. We were also able to take a birthday cake which they were happy to help to distribute instead of dessert. Thank you Olivers for helping me celebrate in style.

Amazing food, accustomed with even better staff/customer service... They treat you very well here, and the drinks are great. We booked in for a large party, a week in advance. We paid a £200 deposit and pre booked our food. No complaints at all. Perfect for an occasion/celebration.

Sorry to say after much anticipation of waiting to visit for special occasions, we were disappointed. The food was barely warm enough on all 3 courses. We sent some beef back as it wasn't cooked to the person specification only to come back exactly the same. It wasn't eaten and we explained why but it fell on deaf ears unfortunately.

Staff were absolutely brilliant and the waiter looked after my 85 year old mother in law brilliantly. Loved having a round table . There were 12 of us and we were asked to pre order. Not really keen on doing this to be honest but understand if it's busy. My only disappointment was that my mum and dad wanted the larger steak from the evening menu and the chef said no!, Not really sure why this would have made any difference if they were paying for a larger one. Nice food.

Lovely welcoming staff who were very attentive and hard working. The food was absolutely lovely. We went on a Sunday and had the three course menu which has a great selection of food including fish & chips and beef burger & chips etc. The food was very tasty, well prepared / presented and served to a party of eight people at the same time which most restaurants struggle to do but Oliver's made it look seamless. The whole party had a great time and definitely will go back. I highly recommend a visit if you are looking to try a new place to dine. Well done Oliver's!

Lovely family meal. We ordered in advance (at least a week before) as there were about 12 of us. The place was clean, the food was lovely, most of the meals were also large and fillings. The young staff were very polite and seemed genuinely nice.

Just attended the in-laws 50th wedding anniversary party today. Food was excellent, from starter to desert were delicious. The menu was varied and everyone enjoyed their meal. The staff were amazing, Nothing was too much trouble and they created such a friendly atmosphere. Draft Peroni, what more could you ask for. Highly recommended.

Excellent food (fillet steak was delicious) but the service could have been better. We were "upgraded" to a wine that was supposed to be more expensive but it turned out to be a cheaper wine but we were charged for the more expensive one and we were charged for a starter that the waiter told us we wouldn't be charged for due to it arriving late. We did get refunded for the overcharges but it would have been better to have got it right first time (it's not like they were busy as we were the only people in when we arrived).

Took my Art Group for our Christmas Dinner I think we covered the whole menu between the 15 of us. Definitely the best Christmas Dinner in the 16 years we have been running the group everyone was impressed with the venue. Food and service couldn't be faulted. Mon 14th Aug 2017 - First visit last Sunday for lunch, it was excellent and I have booked for a party of 10 for this week for a birthday celebration, thought I would try it out first. Food cooked fresh and was excellent, staff all very polite and helpful especially the young waitresses. Lovely selection of Gins (my tipple). I really recommend this restaurant so far but will let you know after tomorrow night how the evening went. Mary. This is the second time I have been for lunch and it is always delicious! Beautifully presented food, very pleasant atmosphere and extremely helpful staff. Very nice bar but I find the restaurant a bit soulless and food just average which is s shame. I tried this lamb on my last visit and it was very tough, the side of veg was dismal with just a couple of cabbage leaves. On the positive, Plenty of staff and all very friendly and helpful. Visited Oliver’s Saturday 29th March 2020. Few people in waited 40 mins first course which was lovely but when main came out rack of lamb very pink. Asked to cook more this took over half hour by which time I had eaten my sea bass and they had forgotten side order after reminding twice. Spoke to manager who attitude was lamb is always served pink. Sorry we will not be dinning there again no apology for waiting time or forgotten sides.

This my first time to Olivers Restaurant /Fagins bar. Firstly the service and friendliness of the staff was outstanding! Such curteous and attentive, knowledgeable staff about menu options etc, very smartly dressed and very polite....nothing was too much trouble! The restaurant decor was very stylish and contemporary, and the cleanliness was impeccable. Ordered seabass...definitely the best choice on the staff's recommendation..delicious! My fiancė ordered the lamp rump, which was also very, very tasty! After our meal we then went into Fagins bar, once again, brilliant service and beautiful decor. Had a brilliant night and would recommend 100%!

Went there for my Mums 70th Vibrant place, nice Fagans bar at the side of the restaurant if you just want a drink. The restaurant staff were so friendly and couldn't do enough for us, we left balloons & birthday cake during the day so was a nice surprise for my Mum. I'd say for the quality of the food the price reflects this, it's a little bit more expensive than what you might pay elsewhere but certainly worth paying the extra, I had the chicken curry and was in taste sensation heaven. I would certainly recommend Olivers if you want to treat yourself for an occasion. I will definitely be returning, thank you Olivers for making a special birthday, a real pleasure..... 👍 👍 👍
