Not gonna lie I usually go to Aldi for shopping and usually The Stonemill catches my eye so I decided to go and see. Had an Ultimate Burger which was really good and tasty, I'm a burger enthusiast so I need my burgers be good. I had a waiter named Klaudia that served me, she was kind and well spoken. She regularly was making sure that I do not lack anything on my table and if everything was alright with the food. Establishment itself was also pretty good and clean. Will come again when I'll feel the need for another burger :D

Have been a few times now and the food is always lovely, the kids meals are huge and you get any drink and 2 scoops of icecream. We came on the 19.07.22 for my daughter’s birthday as a party of 12, all food was hot and good sized portions, staff are lovely and the price was good, came to around £130 with drinks too. I always get the chicken and bacon salad it’s divine. Only thing I’d change is getting some crayons to go with the kids menu’s as theres little for them to do while waiting for food.

Never been to a carvery that gave you so little meat, it was barely half a slice and was wafer thin, never knew it was possible to cut meat so thin by hand. Everyone in the queue looked gobsmacked. The guy on the bar and waitress however, were very lovely and the vegetables were great

Came here for some lunch after a shopping trip with a group of OAP's that I care for in a respite home. Staff where very friendly and helpful. Brought our drinks over to the table for them. Food was lovely and enjoyed by all. And our meals where brought out together so nobody was left waiting. Only downside is they appear to have a Ant problem as they where on the bar, our tables and window ledges. Hope it gets sorted as it can be off putting.

Well I'm just gonna get this out the way before you read further I believe this is just a overpriced wetherspoons Mixed grill - chips were okay hur hard to get wrong, stake though cooked well was tasteless, gammon was flavourful but rather small,blackpudding was great thick flavourful, but overall would not tell difference this and a cheap wetherspoons mixed grill. Emma who served us was great very friendly and welcoming, great people and communication skills Only reason this review is getting 3 stars instead of 1 is because of Emma Save your money go to wetherspoons

I'm rather picky with pub meals, however the food wasn't half bad. 2 things let it down for me. The TV in my view kept flicking to black screen. I asked for tomato and watched the food ticket print saying no tomato yet my food was served with tomato

Went to the stone Mill in warrington 29th march 2022 there was 16 of us we had booked so they knew we was coming we waited hour and half fir the meals to cons out when asked they said it was being done we had young children with us who ended up starving you would have thought they would have looked at this and got theirs done first well I got mine two hors after ordering I only gave a 3 because the food was very nice and when the meals did tart coming out others had finished before all served won't be going again

Lovely friendly staff. Not alot of choices on the menu and was suprised to find no salad options either. I ordered the jacket potato chilli with sour cream . Looked nice when it arrives but upon eating found I had literally only 1 tablespoon on chilli on my jacket and the rest was just sour cream with no chilli underneath it. Mentioned my dilemma to the waitress who took my meal away but advised if I wanted an extra portion on I'd have to pay...or the chef could do me another plate with as she agreed alittle more chilli on it. This I thought was an okay compromise. New dish arrived and yes I guess with maybe 3 tablespoons of chilli on my jacket potato. To have this as a main and charging as a main I feel management should actually increase the portion size. If it was from the starters section I would feel no need to complain but seriously there was not enough to warrant the price. My situation was dealt with appropriately and the food did taste nice though .

As a support worker for a young man with autism and complex needs we were able to find a nice table away from the busy area which the young man loved. The staff were brill the food was lovely, the Xmas decor was nice and the ice cream counter was a massif bonus for him to choose his favourite flavor which the staff put extra wafers on for him. All in all a lovely place and we will be back.

We had a bit of a wait to be seated but the people there were all friendly helpful and polite. The staff advised over various diet requests, eg: vegan vegetarian Gluten Free and slimming world. We were a party of 26 with an age range of between 6 and 90 and everyone, without exception enjoyed their meal. They provided a knife plates and forks for the cake we brought in too. I can't believe I'm saying this but even the pizza chef and Andy the carvery chef were lovely smiley people and happy to help with the dietary constraints of our party. Fabulous evening! Thanks guys ☺

Food is good value for money. The Roast dinner was pretty bland, the carrots were undercooked and the Gammon was too salty. The Nachos sharer was tremendous though and they are some of the best i've had.

Very pleasant family meal at a table seating 7. I had the steak and ale pie. Disappointed that it had a puff pastry crust over a little casserole dish especially after seeing the chicken and leek pie which was a proper pie. Been back again I had the AHUMADO romp steak which I enjoyed. Cooked medium rare and the meat was tender. Two of my dining companions had the carvery and were disappointed the beef and the turkey were quite tough. I'm still giving it 4 stars because the staff were excellent: attentive, helpful and engaged with the youngest member of our party to make the meal special for the 7yr old.

The reason I gave this star rating was because the food on the carvery was very low quality. There are no vegan options here, so we decided to get the carvery as we were starving. The food (veg) was a combination of hard, chewy, dry and room temperature. We powered through to eat parts of it but we didn't enjoy it at all. The waitress was very friendly, but wasn't very knowledgeable of what food was suitable for vegans as it was a new menu. So it took a while for us to figure out that there were no options except chips or veg on the carvery. The waitress, well she was lovely and welcoming... the atmosphere was nice and the toilets were very clean. It's just a shame about the quality of the food. There's lots of parking and an area to eat outside. (This rating is on the food quality, staff and cleanliness - not because there were no vegan options.)

This a great place. Went whilst I was visiting a friend in Liverpool. This staff are very friendly & we were seated promptly. Very good selection of starters, mains & puds. Passed the cake & ice cream fridges & decided there & then no matter how full we were we were having one. We ordered a sharing starter which was huge & very nice. My friend had the chicken pie & I had the beef in ale served with cheesy mash & veg! The beef was melt in your mouth my only criticism was it was too peppery for me. We had puds. My friend had the choco mint ice cream & I had the biggest wedge of lemon cheesecake I have ever seen & it's was delicious &, neither of us could finish them. I may add the carvery looked & smelled gorgeous but as we were going out for Sunday lunch we decided not to have one. I will definitely recommend this establishment.

This is a great restaurant to visit on a Monday as they do a 2 for 1 on pizza & carvery (this is the standard & large) so this works out at less than £5 for two large carveries!!!! The vegetables are fantastic & they give vegetarians the option of a nut roast. Lovely restaurant with nice booths & all the staff are very friendly, we'll worth a visit.

Most of the staff make a genuine effort to accommodate all customers. The menu is better than others in this you're if restaurant but improvements could be made to cater for alternative dietary needs and more knowledgeable staff if the items in the menu already. The toilets are not as clean as they should be...

Visited here with a friend. We had a lovely meal. I had the cheese and onion pie and she had the chicken hanging kebab. No complaints with the food; was very tasty and great value for money! They always have a deal on!! The service was super! Very attentive and friendly staff. Couldn't fault it. Will be visiting again!

Usually very happy with the carvery. A hot day and Spring Bank holidays this visit meant there was only roast ham and a tiny piece of beef left. No turkey. Also some veg had run out, not the usual full selection. Freezer was broken so had a temporary mobile freezer. This affected their ice cream stock levels. Having said all that, we had a great meal and the staff were very friendly and helpful. They coped under duress with events that were not always under their control. Would recommend a visit.

Carvery, but also do set menu. Special meal deals on a Monday (I think, please check with them before visiting). We had the carvery which wasn't expensive. Decent cake selection. The slices are ENORMOUS. We didn't partake, but friends say that they will provide a 'doggy bag' if needed. Large family friendly venue. Plenty of car parking spaces.

Food is decent, you know what you're getting when it's a chain. Service is terrible. Staff are lovely, that's not the problem. It's the time you have to wait. One time our order came an hour late because they "forgot about us". Another time we waited half an hour, then a member of staff came over ONLY then to tell us one of our meals was out of stock and to choose something else. Then another time waited about 20 minutes then was served food but couldn't get hold of cutlery anywhere, so had to wait another 10 minutes in the queue to ask for some.

It was okay. Went there for lunch, prices were a little on the high side. My pizza was clearly cooked in a good oven, but way too much cheese. Chips were a little undercooked. Usually I love going here, but today I found a stone/bone in my vegetarian pizza. When I mentioned it to them they said there was no way it was a stone and that it was my tooth.... We visited in Tuesday 7th March and it was a very busy evening. Staff were very pleasant and helpful. Efficient and attentive even with the volume of customers to attend. Varied menu for a pub which satisfied our party from a 7yr old to 87. The carvery chef was very good. He spoke to our son whilst serving him, directed the choice questions to him not me. Explained all the questions about the meat choice. Cut the meat paper thin and correct size for a child. For 1 fussy eater who is can be overwhelmed by food size it was ideal for his age. All the way through the choices the chef treated him as an adult even making him a special portion of sweetcorn. For once my son ate very well. There was plenty veg choice for the adults. It all appeared very fresh.. not tired as it sometimes can be on a cavery. The menu choices for the other adults has been cooked well for a pub and one that was busy. Portion size was very good. We have been and had the pizza in the past and these are very good. I can recommend the kebab too. Meat was very juicy. Far from being dried and chewy. I would certainly recommend a visit. Good for after work tea and plenty of space slightly private areas for big celebration parties.

I went on the Saturday and had the margarita pizza and it was delicious! Went on the Monday for the carvary and it was bone dry! Obviously, the food had been under the heater for too long! What I will say though, is that the staff are extremely friendly and very helpful!

Every time I come home , I visit the stone mill with friends and family , yesterday I came with my parents- and the service was lovely by all of the staff, attentive and never left waiting even if they are busy, it never feels like too much trouble for them ! Jason is always a welcoming friendly face to see too. I'd heard very mixed reviews but decided to give it a good. We decided not to get the carvery and order from the menu and the food was nice. We sat outside and it was a lovely day Aldi is facing and costa coffee so good if you fancy a bite to eat after shopping then go for a decent coffee. Monday they do 2 meals for 1 and Tuesday to Thursday 2 meals for £9 I think it was. Draft cider was £4.20

Great choice of foods, from carvery (which was excellent and plentiful!) through to the mainstream favourites, such as Hunters Chicken, lasagne etc, and on to their handmade (or artisan) pizzas, you can see them being freshly made and cooked in a proper pizza oven. If you like deserts then this is the place for you, they truly are amazing! Luckily they do a 'cake away' so you can take the enormous portions home for later. Only thing is there isn't much for kids to do.

Waited over an hour for food one of us got there's 20 mins before the rest and the steak we ordered took another 15 mins and the order was wrong, food was average at best. I would have rather gone to McDonald's. Avoid! UPDATE: we were offered a free desert each and the lady that sorted that out for us was really nice. So bumped to 3 star.

Me, my husband and 8 year old son all had lunch here, it was a Friday so we had the fish Friday deal, the fish was amazing, huge fish with lovely bubbly crispy batter, the chips were disappointing some were undercooked slightly and some were a bit rubbery, would be much better with nice chunky chips, I had mushy peas with mine and they had been put over my chips I would of preferred them separate on the plate, very good value just the chips we're a slight let down, would go again though if I was in the area
