My wife wanted to put together an Italian inspired food hamper as a birthday treat for her sister. After a quick Google search we found La Bottega Italiana. What an absolutely fantastic shop this is! The guy there was so helpful and friendly. The coffee we had whilst there was exceptional and the selection of Italian food was fantastic. We honestly cannot wait to go back!

Lovely authentic Italian deli tucked away from the high street. Does great ham, cheese, coffee, cake and wine all year round as well as a wide range of panettone at Easter and Christmas. The team are always super helpful and patient taking you through your choices too.

I am so happy to learn that Bottega Italiana is still trading and that Vito is still in charge. I used to shop here most Saturday’s from the late 1980’s until 2005 when I moved away. I plan to visit when I am next in the area. Service was always a joy and the quality and range of products hard to fault, my favourite shop in town.

This is perhaps the definitive local Italian cafe, serving excellent hot food as well as good takeaway. Cold meat selection with sun dried tomatoes and olives is wonderful. Treat yourself to an Italian sweet pastry and when finished there is an array of Italian food to take home including panettone and biscotti. The Bottega has recently been enlarged and updated. The service is managed and provided by the owning family which is nothing short of excellent. Go there!

Excellent Deli. If the owner is serving and makes a custom Roll Sandwich etc, He will slice the Tomatoes, garlic, onions etc ultra ultra thin..that as a filler with green chillies, olives, lettuce, pesto sauce, sun dried tomatoes, salt/ pepper and olive oil drizzle finally ultra thin slices of an Italian cheese; will be the most delicious and tasty food. All almost fresh except the pesto, olives, sun dried tomatoes and olive oil. Robust Coffee really good. Pls stop over and indulge in the food from this Deli.

Fantastic italian food and cakes with a bar Located near watford town centre Good parking outside and has a seated area to eat. Also do traditional coffee and sweets. They sell also hams and cheeses. Great little shop and highly recomended

You take this wonderful Italian deli for what it is. Its real. Probably one of only 2 family run delis in Watford area. Best coffee for miles. Best fresh home made sandwiches, Italian deserts. Outstanding service. It's also a great escape for the stressed Watford office worker. I get there for breakfast and beat the rush hour traffic.
