Very plain uninspiring interior, however, the food is fantastic. You also get to choose how hot/spicy you want your meal. Lahore does not have an alcohol licence but you can bring your own; I don't think that they charge corkage.

Having been coming here for years. Never had a bad meal. Exceptional value for money too. My favourite dishes are the mixed grill, the Lamb Rogan Josh and the sag paneer. In addition one can take their own selection of alcohol as the establishment has no license to sell. Saves money!!!!

Service was very slow for a Saturday night... Sat down and had to wait for 20 mins for a menu to come.... Decided only to stay for starters... Kebabs are great and as well as the chicken wings but the lamb chops were tough and not the best I've had

Delicious food. Full of flavour and they don't hold back on the spice (they do offer many mild dishes if you aren't a chilli head). They were not very good w pandemic measures, so take care if you are sensitive to that.

Mix grill, special mix grill, tandoori chicken, curries all nice , staff very nice. Yes one thing they used to have very good naan breads but now a days the standard of naan is not up to mark. So that's why I gave 4 stars. Very clean and beautifully decorated restaurant. Clean toilets.

Our go to restaurant for our cravings as it's very near to my house. Dine in is always best. Good staff. Very good quality and quantity. I wasn't happy about food quality when I had taken delivery sometimes. But overall it's a great place.

I've been to this restaurant a few times and had takeaway a few times. It is excellent! Much more of a local cafe restaurant vibe, very unpretentious . I reckon the focus is on the food. I have never had a problem getting a table, usually booking a few days in advance for even groups of 10 or so. Must have dishes: the lamb chops, actually anything from their grill and the aubergine dish, but i have never been disappointed with a dish.

Food is delicious, king prawns in a green sauce tastes divine. & unlike other places that claim to be cheffing up "king" prawns but actually end up serving what looks like fishing bate these guys deliver on the true size of king prawns. Thumbs and big toes up for Lahore

I've eaten here 4 times now and the place has never failed to deliver. The dishes are authentic, flavourful and the meat is always cooked to perfection. Plus, the mango lassi here is perhaps the best I've had anywhere...even in the sub-continent!

Dont listen to the negative reviews here.... I am asian and this being food of our origin I must say that it is very authentic! The service is great, food is lovely, restaurant is clean. They cater for large groups if you book they dedicate a waiter for your table. My family and many friends eat from here all the time and I highly recommend it to anyone who thinks that an Indian is what you would get from other so called"indian restaurants"! Proper punjabi/indian food is served here!

Out of all the Indian food places in the area, this one smashes them all. If you want real, authentic good tasting Indian food, do yourself a massive favour and go here and not the Indian Sizzler which is getting awards for reasons I still don't know as an Indian myself. I recommend all the dishes here, although I particularly enjoy the Lamb Chops for starters and the Butter Chicken or Karahi Lamb for main. Great service, great food and a great atmosphere. It really doesn't get much better than this and add that to the great value, you can't go wrong. Ignore the negative reviews as I honestly want everyone who reads this to try it for themselves, it really is an amazing experience.

I was recommended the restaurant by a friend, So yesterday 28/10/2015 I and two friends paid a visit. The airy bright inertia was slightly different from a normal restaurant environment but very welcoming and obviously very family friendly. We started off by sharing a mixed grill. It was fabulous, I can till smell the aroma as it was delivered to the table and the look of my companions as it was presented. It set the bar at a high standard, that all the following dishes attained. The restaurant is not licensed but you can take your own . All in all a terrific place, Great food, good service. I will be back

Food is amazing! Only problem is when we get food delivered to our house, items are always missing and always ending up ringing the restaurant. Then takes another 45/50 minutes to receive the missing items. Just to need make sure Food is ticked off before sending! Just a shame i cant give a 5 star!

After watching a movie, we passed this restaurant. We were all quite hungry. We dicided to try it out. No reservation was needed. The restaurant was quiet on Boxing Day. However, we were looked after very well. As soon as we arrived, we were given menus and drinks list. After ordering, maybe 15 mins later the food arrived. The special mix Grill was sizzling very loudly, which was quite exciting. Although the grilled lamb tikka & lamb chops was quite tough but was tasty and seasoned very well. The Nan bread was fresh, fluffy and crispy, just the way we liked it. The lamb chilli masala we ordered was very tender with authentic spicy flavours. The chicken biryani was very aromatic, different to other restaurants we have been. Everybody enjoyed the meal. We even had a little doggy bag to take home. Price was very reasonable. 2 adults with 2 children came to about £45.00 Highly recommended.

I enjoyed eating there. When you eat in, you have 3 complimentary sauces (chilli, mint and very finely diced onions and coriander mix) with poppadoms. I used to be a regular customer but then their food standards dropped. So much spice that you couldnt taste the actual food item! I stopped going and after 2 years went back. My first 2 visits were for mix grills, kebabs and keema naan which tasted really nice. But on my 3rd and 4th visit i didnt enjoy atall. Ordered kebabs, prawns, curry, naans and keema naan. Curry wasnt good. Keema naan had been made into a swirl (many areas of naan there was no keema), jumbo king prawns tasted horrible. It seems they had been pre boiled, then heated in a microwave and green coriander green chilli sauce poured over them. Prawns required alot of effort to cut and chew. They were 10.50£. (I think) naan was cold and the kebabs were small in size and dry. I have seen 2 chefs cooking at the front. I believe because of this there is no consistency in producing good quality food and consistent taste every time. Each chef is doing what he thinks is right. When you order for takeaway, you get given a bag of 'salad'. This consists of thick and thin slices of red onions, few slices of tomatoes and few slices of cucumber. Mainly it is all onions. If you wish to give the customer a complimentary salad, make it a good salad otherwise don't. If you ask for lettuce, there's a charge for that whether you are taking it away or eating in. This has remained the same over the years since it opened. I think i will not be going again for a long time.

I really enjoyed our family evening out here. The food was very good, the facilities were clean. We ordered a whole tandoori chicken, lamb rogan gosh, and some tandoor paratha. We went around late afternoon 4pm. The restaurant was empty so the staff was not stressed etc. We ordered butter chicken and chicken, lamb keema combo. The food was piping hot and very fresh with naan and tandoori roti served in ten minutes. Food tasted good, we shall return.

It's our Friday dinner restaurant and wouldn't change it, food and staff are wonderful. Authentic Indian food. Not for the light hearted, have to say when they are busy you have to wait for your food but that's because everything is cooked upon order rather than being pre cooked. As they say the best is waiting for.

Depends...went as family with 3 kids (1-7 yrs) 1) Tasty food no doubt -albeit some starters too spicy for kids, fresh dishes 2) Amazing prices (reminds me of being back in Manchester curry mile) , hope they can maintain it at this value -very busy takeaway service 3) Clean casual relaxed environment (important with little kids) You'll feel unsatiated in the following though: 1) expect below standard service - waitering, welcoming, etc -who needs this when the price and food is so good 2) don't expect a romantic meal out with the other half either, it's more functional , clean and family orientated Enjoy tasty food at bargain prices!

Best place in Watford for Pakistan cuisine. Every time we have been and every dish ordered, has been freshly prepared. This is evident even in the finely cut and seasoned Kachumber salad, chutneys and sauces that you get with every meal. Not precooked, and microwave reheated like many others. Fresh tandoori Naan, Paratha and Roti/Chupati. Excellent value for money and top quality food serves in clean and simple contemporary decor.
