My friend recommended this place which I don't regret. The food was reasonably priced and the food was amazing. Was sat down on a dirty table but waiter cleaned afterwards. This was the only disappointment hence the 4 star.

I was shopping at the Atria shopping center in Watford. I wanted to eat with a friend, an authentic lunch and not food of the Mall. I read good reviews about this restaurant. When we arrived the restaurant was quite busy, mainly with people dressed in traditional clothes, who miss home cooking. It was a sign that the food would be delicious. The friends ordered 2 dishes of Kebab, and I had a dish of Chicken Tikka on Naan. The service was fast and efficient, the food was very tasty. The price was low and it felt like I got good value for money. Highly recommended place.

Enjoyed our meal here. Good quality of food - particularly enjoyed the biryani - and excellent decor. Service excellent. One star deducted for quality of whole chicken (overdone and not very meaty), but great option if in the area. Harrow’s taste of Lahore is better overall but this is still good!

Well well well. Great food and helpful staff. The food was yummy as usual. Got to click the Fried Fish before indulging in and forgetting to take a picture for rest of the dishes. ***UPDATED ***** This time, we had the Chicken Tikka with Chips and Salad and it was worth it. Quality food every time. We also tried the Stuffed Aloo Paratha, Butter Naan, Tadka Dal and Butter Chicken, both were tasty and authentic. The Kadhai Chicken, newly introduced to the menu, is heavenly. *****UPDATED****** We got the Chicken Donner today and it was worth drooling for. Would highly recommend.

Lamb Kebabs, Methi Chicken, Lamb Biriyani and butter Naan. Although had to wait a bit longer as the restaurant was very busy fulfilling the orders. Well worth the wait. Sizeable portions of food. And very very tasty Methi Chicken. Methi has health attributes too. Lamb Biriyani was really nice too. I have to be a bit adventurous and try hot food. At moment medium. In this extraordinary times and at a busy time 7ish on Saturday the consistency of good food is awesome. Thank you Excellent service and food standard is excellent. Must try Karahi Chicken.

Oh my .. This is my go to place when I need a good fix for home cooked styled food. The food has always been fresh and full of flavour. I’ve had many dishes from this place. I can recommend the chicken and chips, kebab rolls (go for the roly poly), channa roll, keema curry, lamb biriyani (chicken biriyani is nice also). If you like your mixed meats get the large mixed grill, but make sure you have room to eat it all! Lol Been coming here for years. Staff are good. The place is clean and the prices are reasonable. Covid safe and friendly.

Had some food from here today, we ordered some chicken shish kebab (nice kebabs and tasty fried onions), lamb curry was ok not great, had a sweet taste and was a quick 5 minute Job making it, grilled chicken tasted nice but slightly underdone in places, nans, salad and lassi was fresh, overall not bad but could have been better.

Been here many times, it's a hit or miss to be hònest. Sometimes the kebabs are tender and well cooked and well favoured. At times they are blend and very tasteless, but food is authentic and tastes good, their meat samosa is very good.

Ordering items from the grill, you cannot go wrong. I wouldn’t recommend any of the curries as they did not taste authentic and were quite bland. Service was good though as they staff were helpful and fast.

Indian/Punjabi cuisine available here, food is quite delicious and reasonably priced. Staffs are good too. Lots of indian and pakistani people come here. Fish, lambs and nan/tandoori dishes are really good. Try the Mango Lassi. Sometimes due to houseful crowd, you might have wait a long after placing your order.

Always a cheery welcome, whether you've parked out back or walked up from Waterfields or Tesco. Wide range of flame grilled meats. Prefer the dals & vegetable dishes myself. Chef back on form with the Baygan/aubergine dish, as chilli-rich as you like. Couple of fresh baked plain nans & a salt lassi, you have a low fat balanced meal.

Passing through Watford and feeling hungry so a quick Google search and found this little gem of a restaurant. What a pleasant surprise in the centre of Watford! The Mrs and myself ordered lamb chops and freshly made chicken Karahi on the bone. The chops were fabulous! Juicy, crispy and the perfect flavours. Also impressed by portion size. The chicken Karahi was next and what a lovely meal. Fresh naans and rotis arrived within a minute of ordering as don't like to pre order and eat them cold. Customer service was brilliant by Noman who represented the restaurant in a very professional and courteous manner. He also recommended kheer at the end which topped off a wonderful food experience. Never thought I'd venture out to Watford for a meal but will definitely return to try some of their other dishes.

The best restaurant in Watford. The food is delicious but also the customer service is 5* here. Friendly, accommodating and will go out of there way to make sure your ok. I was with my parents and grandma and it was there first time. My mother was so impressed with the customer service and the food, she asked me to take her again next week! Please keep up the good food / quality and the customer service as this is what will bring you more customers. I also have to say I think Watford branch is much better then Harrow (sorry) but the customer service and food together is key in any restaurant and Watford defiantly have the edge in this one. I can’t wait to visit again. Thanks again guys. :-)

Great nan kebabs and quick service. Best in Watford I'd say. Left a star off only because a couple of times they've got my order wrong like forgotten the fries or something. Not a major thing and it's still my go-to place when I fancy a kebab.

Authentic Pakistani Indian Halal food for an affordable price. Mostly street food but also serve main course meals too. Good seating arrangements along with separate toilets. Not sure if they did have a baby changing area though. Could do with a better sweets selection but overall a good place to eat in with family and friends.

Been to the restraurant a few times now, and their Harrow branch as well. I like the taste and service but 4* because the seating arrangement could be a bit better. You will be very congested if go in with a pushchair, and then you needed a highchair as well! The one in Harrow somehow tastes better and is slightly more open and a lot bigger.

After several visits I still return to this restaurant as they always deliver great food with a good family atmosphere. The 10 mile journey to eat a delicious mixed grill, chicken biryani and Nihari has always been worth it as I can rely on it to be fresh and cooked to perfection. Taste of Lahore is Watfords culinary gem with its generous portions at reasonable prices. One of the few places we and the kids agree on - not long before we're back soon. Never disappointed.

I've been to several different Taste of Lahore outlets in the south of England, and this by far has been the best one. Great food, great service, great staff, great decor, and definitely great value. We went as a family and they also had high chairs for the baby which was a great bonus.

I’ve eaten here many times before and the food quality has been variable but not bad. Something was clearly different on our recent visit. We had lamb chops for starters, tender, succulent, right balance of char from the tandoor, beautifully spiced and just a little pink on the bone. Often you get served mutton chops in some establishments but this was lamb at its best. For mains we had Butter Chicken, Sindhi Biryani and Saag Paneer. All 3 dishes were excellent. The Butter Chicken was superb; the chicken so tender it was almost falling apart. We had requested everything as mild and our request was fully complied with. The food was beautifully spiced and when accompanied with the soft, pillowy butter naan delivered an outstanding value for money experience. Only criticisms would be the Mango Lassi was just a hint too sweet and the jug ran out too quickly. Our bill came to less than £40z If this standard can be maintained there will be even fuller tables in the near future.

This is n amazing place. We went in without knowing much about the place. It was before 7 on a Saturday evening. Quite crowded with lots people coming in both for eating in the retaurants and takeaway. Everything on the menu was reasonably priced and the portions were huge. We had a mixed grill, a lamb rogan josh and a lamb masala chili. They were all very good and we left the place completely happy with experience. I would recommend this place to anyone👍

Went for the mixed grill to share. Meat over cooked and way over spiced. Lamb was very over cooked and been served on a hot skillet meat just keep cooking till it was dry. My favourite place to eat in Watford. Value for money is great. They have a traditional tandoor to cook real Naan breads, unlike indian restaraunts that use microwaved Naans. The haleem and bhartha are my favourite. The chicken shawarma is also delicious. If you want asian food in Hertfordshire this is the best place to go!

Cheap, delicious and overall amazing! If you are around watford and you want to eat good quality food for a decent price then i suggest you drop by! They are welcoming and serve up your food in no time. The portions are quite good for most things. I love the dips they give, the mayonnaise is super rich and vream, i like the spicy chutney it is sweet yet spicy! I would suggest getting the mixed grill, you really can't go wrong with that. It is served on a nice chunky naan bread. They have rice, curries such as daal ghost etc too so there is something for everyone! Do try the food, you won't be disappointed. Everytime we drop by to Watford we eat there. A lovely buzzy environment plus good food= a lovely day out, Will always drop by when I am in watford
