Reviews of The Florist Bar & Restaurant Watford
S. S.
Inviting atmosphere and friendly staff. Food were adequate. The crispy chicken I got was a tad bit dry and salty. However, the drink I got tasted delightful as the flavour of the watermelon comes through and not to overwhelming with a hint of mint as a refresher. Would come back for the drink and perhaps order other food options.

I came here with the expectation that it would be style over substance, but my goodness was i wrong. This place is great. Beautifully decorated and the food was amazing. From one of the pickiest eaters in UK, the best restaurant in the country. Thank you for such a lovely experience!
B. B.
Gorgeous place. Really enjoyed my time here with my partner for his birthday celebrations.
We were greeted by the reception staff who were friendly and then we proceeded to sit down. Being next to the telephone box was interesting with so many people wanting to take photos in it!
The starters were absolutely tasty, the squid with crispy kale was exceptional , would not want squid elsewhere , and the pork belly, egg with rice was also amazing.
Would definitely recommend the main menu. The brunch menu was quite limited but the lunch one post 1 pm was fantastic.
I had a few mocktails which tasted like actual cocktails minus the alcohol!
Lucy the waitress was fabulous serving us and she is a true asset to the florist .

I went to the florist for brunch with a friend and it was outstanding. You pick 5 things for about £15 (I got the chocolate croissant, scrambled tofu, vegan sausages, fruit and French toast) and everything was a 10/10. Really impressed. So was my friend. We also enjoyed two cocktails each which were really really nice. The service was quick and friendly, the atmosphere was really lovely and the decor is stunning.

We went for dinner here Saturday evening for Valentine's and had an amazing experience.
The staff were so friendly, the food was amazing, and the decor and atmosphere were superb!
Loved the drinks too.
Definitely will be returning.
Thank you for a great evening!

A beautifully decorated restaurant, incredibly picturesque and makes for a good dining experience.
The lighting in certain areas is a little dim which can make viewing the menu difficult for those with eyesight problems.
The food and drinks were tasty, especially their famous kebabs which truly were the highlight of the meal.
Would likely come again in the summer to experience their summer menu.

Went a few days after new year and the place was bubbling.
I loved the decor from the entrance to the hall, everywhere was beautiful.
The food also didn’t disappoint.
Located on high street, automatically means no parking space except you park at Atria.
Our waitress was very polite and took some photos for us.
I’ll definitely be returning for some more.
Affordable luxury is my definition of The Florist.

if you haven’t been, try and get to The Florist in Watford. I visited with a friend a few months ago. A fabulous looking restaurant and bar with outdoor terrace spaces.
In line with the flowers and neon aesthetics and decor, thus popular with the social media crowd.
Grabbed a drink this time round, next time i’d like to try their famous roasts as recommended by their friendly servers and team.

The restaurant is beautiful, it had a good atmosphere. The staff were very nice and friendly. The drinks were really nice, I would say that the price wasn’t too bad for what you were getting. I would defiantly come back to try other food items and other drinks.

The setting and decor is lush, with a large roof high flowered tree in the restaurant area. Also a flower wall in the bar and other hanging flower decorations.
We had a large table booking on a week night and they had our orders from the set menu prior to the night. It wasn't that busy but we waited quite a while for each course. We also waiting quite a while fro drinks, even when there was only the small amount of us. The majority of the guest were over half an hour late but I dont see why this would have impacted on each course taking so long to come out. We did all get our starters and mains quite close together which was good for a large group, but the serving of desserts left a few people waiting a little longer. The food was nice but it did seem like my starter (chicken wings) had been sat under a warm lamp for a while, and maybe it had due to some guests being late....
The staff were friendly. It was a bit frustrating that on the set menu in the restaurant there seems to be other options that we were not aware of, and they did let a few people change their choices which was very kind of them.

Picturesque and filling. Gorgeous place with lovely food. Ordered the lamb kebab and pork belly kebab, it didn't look like much but I pretty much had food coma on the drive back home. Why on a quiet Monday afternoon around 3. Dress code didn't apply which was good for me but be aware if you go on one of the busier days.
N.
Too much turmeric everywhere!!!
Use to love coming for breakfast and brunch but sadly since the menu changed my friends and I have not enjoyed a single meal. Gone is the good old avocado on toast, portions far too small and everything had something wrong with it!
Never had turmeric butter before and hope to never have it again.
Bring back the old menu with actual OPTIONS… leaving still feeling hungry.

Had my birthday meal here and it didn't disappoint. The staff were all very friendly and the food was great!
My family was also impressed :)
M. S.
Amazing experience. The place is very well done up you wouldn’t expect it in the location it is sitting outside is there perfect spot if it’s hot if not towards the back of the restaurant as the atmosphere is better. The cocktails are definitely worth a try.
t.
A restaurant that has been on my radar for a long time, and oh boy! was the anticipation worth it.
This place is a bit pricey, but it's worth the experience, the interior design is amazing, just truly wonderful, especially if you're looking to take nice pictures.
The food is great in quality and quantity - I had the vegetarian katsu curry and I couldn't finish it, although I enjoyed it thoroughly.
The presentation of the food is also on point. I must recommend this place to anyone who's looking for a fancy brunch/lunch/dinner or just going out for drinks.
Honestly, really looking forward to coming back.

Such a fabulous place to come with the girls! Very Instagrammable and a must visit in Watford!
Cocktails are amazing and food! Will visit again for a more detailed food review

Lovely experience here! The decor is beautiful, the food is delicious and there’s a great selection of drinks. Definitely recommend the raspberry and almond frangipane tart.

FABULOUS 🌸
We celebrated our anniversary in Florist. Food and staff were amazing. Special thanks to Mikayla & Scarlet for being very nice and attentive.
Beautiful place for any occasion, highly recommended! 🌸

Visited for lunch on a weekday. We enjoyed our starters of squid and prawns with chorizo. The pork and kimchi main was ok, nothing special. Cocktails were on the weak side. Service could have been improved, staff were not very helpful with suggestions. The highlight was the decor, but it was quite pricy for lunch, maybe introduce a lunch menu?
O. J.
Didn't know what to expect but I was mesmerised from the moment I walked under the archway entrance. Absolutely stunning setting, delish cocktails and perfect starters. We had squid, prawns and baked Camembert to share and then kebabs and fish and chips. The kebabs were so well presented and all the food tasted great. We were too full to have desserts as the portions are a really good size but would like to come back and try them. What's more, the service was great and everyone was so friendly and welcoming. Perfect place for a romantic meal or a friends reunion.
H. B.
Delicious cocktails! Would highly recommend this bar, I have eaten here before the food is lovely. Great photo opportunities! Only thing I would say is if you want to go on the weekend book a table in the restaurant or bar as it can get busy with walk ins. We had a table booked and the staff made sure it was free for us, thanks! 🌸
F. A.
The food and the decor was amazing. The lady that served us was really nice and I definitely go back another time. The only downside is that they don’t have takeaway packs. Not sure if it’s just that day or something they don’t do.
S. H.
Went here for my Sister's Birthday.
This place was so beautiful and full of colour and flowers 💐.
The food was enjoyable.
But the cocktails "Oh my gosh"!!!! They were so delicious. (I was naughty I had two).. At lunch time!!!!
The staff were so friendly and helpful. Willing to please.
My fries were cold and they replaced them straight away.
My first time here and I must say I enjoyed the experience and will go back again.
s.
so beautiful and amazing food, a bit pricey. amazing scenery and places to take photos with friends. great restaurant.
J. P.
Outstanding is the only word I could think of! Be it the ambience, service, curated menu.
We managed to book for dinner on Mother's day. The place was completely booked.
The sweet potato houmous with warm crispy bread and crispy onions was a real winner, while the salt and pepper chicken wings were great as usual for starters.
For the Mains, We chose the Pan fried Seabass with gnocchi, tomato, peas and romesco sauce. The dish was carefully prepared to perfection and we were completely spellbound.
We then tried the Gingerbread Cake and Raspberry Almond Frangipane Tart for Desserts and completed with a fine brew of Earl Grey Tea.
Nothing to say more about the ambience. The pictures do the job. Nicely located on the Watford high street next to HSBC.
Definitely a must go if you are around.
D. J.
Instagram worthy venue, pet and kid friendly. Ambience is chilled and relaxed. Feels like dining in an indoor garden.
T. S.
Took mum for late mother's Day lunch, lovely food well presented, and our waitor was polite and friendly🙂,
It was a relaxed atmosphere and we didn't feel rushed at all to eat 🙂
The added floral fragrance coming up the stairs to the restaurant was beautiful 🙂❤🌹
N. A.
Beautiful restaurant with lovely decor. Love the floral smell as you walk in and its perfect for a special occasion. Food was very nice. Highly recommend the hanging kebab. I had the pork belly kebab and it was very tender and tasty. The lemon tart dessert was perfect.
E. J.
This was a wonderful place to throw an event, the staff could not do more to help you or be more polite and courteous.. the food was amazing the cocktails was delicious! The music after was fabulous and took requests to for the end of night dancing 😊 I would highly recommend to everyone to try once atleast, I guarantee you won't be disappointed ... Deffo a great place with extra zest 👌🏻
T. W.
I loved the scented entrance and once inside it's beautiful decor makes it so inviting, the food was amazing I couldn't fault it it's the best food I'd had in a very long time whilst dining out i highly recommend the Florest you won't be disappointed
N.
Went here for the brunch for my birthday, the staff were really lovely. There were a ton of options for the breakfast which was nice, the food itself isn’t out of this world but it is still quite nice and good if you want to try new things as well. Bear in mind you do get quite a bit of food so go with a hungry stomach! 😊
J. R.
I’ve only heard good things about The Florist from friends, and it didn’t disappoint. The decor is very pretty, the vibe is chilled, and the staff are friendly, chatty, and polite. The food is beautifully presented and tasty, and the cocktails are the bomb! I would have no hesitation going again. Highly recommend!
J. C.
Cool & relaxing atmosphere for a drink or for indulging yourself in a sweet treat. You can order and pay at the table and the staffs are friendly.

I have been waiting for the opportunity to visit and today was the day. I knew I would love it but wasn't sure about my family (fussy older children). We had the best afternoon and I have to say, none of us could fault anything with food, drinks, service or atmosphere. Wonderful experience and will be back soon.
A. “. G.
The outside in! Beautiful floral decorations, nice food menu and great selection of cocktails & Gin. The staff are attentive and have great chat.

Hi there, for my second time being in this venue and basing on my experience as a bartender in Gordon Ramsey group, I'd like to say thanks to Justina and all the staff for the professional job and taking care for everything.
Thanks again
L. L.
Beautiful venue, with a nice relaxed atmosphere. Good customer service. We had the Sunday lunch lamb and veg and each of us enjoyed the food..desserts good also (Lemon Cheesecake with raspberry sorbet is a winner)..reasonably priced too...I would have given it a 4.5 star had the tables not been so close to each other..feels a bit claustrophobic when seated. Other than that worth a visit..we shall definitely visit again ..decor is amazing

Wonderful afternoon! The staff were so personable and took the time to talk to us, making recommendations, and helping with my friends allergy needs. We weren’t rushed in any way and when we wanted to move to the terrance after dinner they were fab at moving our tab and drinks. Gorgeous takes on traditional cocktails and of course 👌🏼 selfie spots!
E. D. S.
Nice cocktails but the Chicken katsu was soooo disappointing😞 it was very dry , chewy and looked very old!I’m sure it wasn’t fresh!!I’ve ordered before and it was completely different! The staff was really helpful , but the night was ruined with this poor quality food !!
R. S.
Such a beautiful place with delicious food and a lovely atmosphere. The staff were very friendly and welcoming. The brunch boards were delicious and even my daughter who is a fussy eater loved it all!
W. L.
Great place lively music. There is no dress code as they state on the phone. I was the only div in trousers and shirt. Every other person was shorts t shirt and trainers.
Thanks for making me feel like an absolute numpty
Upped my review to 5 stars because it’s a great place 👊👊👊

Pros:
Beautiful restaurant
Smells divine like a florist
Lovely Friendly helpful staff
Amazing tasty food dishes
Cons:
Music too loud
Espresso Martini very bitter - not made properly - twice. This was really disappointing.
Bar staff need to use correct ingredients. Mine tasted like a shot of nasty coffee with vodka and they put sugar syrup in it which was awful. No Khalua was used.
Ice
100ml vodka.
50ml freshly brewed (decent and smooth) espresso coffee.
50ml Kahlua liqueur
4 coffee beans

Amazing decor, cocktail and food menu.
Went in with my other half on a Friday night without a booking, had to wait 90 minutes for a table but deffo worth the wait! We managed to get a seat and have a few drinks while waiting for our table and wow. The menu was mainly composed of your classic cocktails but with their own twist.
Food was amazing , from starters to main course and service. Deffo will be back next time in Watford!
C. G.
Lovely food, a bit over priced. Music a bit too loud for me, I would definitely go back but not on a Friday night. Good for those who like the music, good atmosphere

Visiting from Australia I found this place such a delight to eat at. I actually ate there on 3 occasions and received great food and superb service each time. Highly recommend.
K. G.
Very pretty restaurant, the food was very tasty and we didnt have to wait too long, the brunch was good value for money, i recommend the bottomless drinks. Most staff were rely friendly apart from one gentleman who seemed like he was lingering and checking on us alot, as if he wanted us to leave? Felt his pressence alot. Other than that it was a great afternoon
J. K.
Love this place ,
On every visit the staff are amazing especially heather who is outstanding , the food menu hasn’t really changed since opening and could do with updating , very instagram vibes , definitely not 40+ vibes on a fri - Saturday evening! Food is okay/good but presentation is good ✌️
P. B.
The ambiance is amazing. The decor is full of beautiful flowers and trees while, while the high ceilings give a sense of space. The food was quite good. The salt and pepper squid was delicious, although the sirloin steak was a big tough. The orange marmalade tofu caught my eye immediately, the dish was really inventive and the sauce was incredible. The tofu itself was a bit hard though, the dish could have been improved by using softer tofu. The orange chocolate tart was a nice way to finish of a great meal.
D. A.
Lovely decor, great vibe and atmosphere! The food was on point to as well as the service!
Designed for sharing so don’t expect big portions. Service And host overall was pretty good. Would definitely come back but book in Adv.
J. B.
A very interesting and unusual bar/ restaurant but very enjoyable. Fabulous decor with very quirky and lively surroundings. Great party atmosphere.
S. B.
We had dinner here last night on a friends recommendation and were not disappointed. The Superfood Salad was delicious, it definitely ranks higher than Pizza Express or Nandos equivalent in my opinion. Had my first ever cookie dough dessert (went for the crunchie one) and let's just say it won't be my last, it was worth evey single calorie 👍
J. M.
Delicious food and great atmosphere. Super amazing staff kudos to Lacy our waitress she done an amazing job, and outstanding customer service... helpful and super friendly
L. F.
My time at this restaurant was amazing. Great experience from the moment we arrived to the time we left.
We were greeted by a very happy and friendly Host who introduced herself and took us to our table. Letting us know where the toilets were etc.
We were next seen by the table host, who knew the menu and recommended some great dishes. So much to choose from and all sounds and looks tasty. Drinks and starters came out prompt followed by main course.
The whole restaurant had a great atmosphere and vibe and you could see everyone was having a good time.
We had lunch and it was all great prices for food and drinks. I would recommend the Katsu Chicken Burger and Bubble waffle (dessert). So tasty.
I will definitely be back and will be letting everyone know how amazing it is.
P.S it's very Instagram worthy, if you like taking pictures of where you have been.
Thanks to all the staff for a truly wonderful time
T. W.
Beautiful decor and lovely atmosphere. However, I have to say something about their pricing. Especially for the main courses. I found them to be pretty pricey, for what the outcome is. I ordered a main, which was sweet chilli and lime leave salmon. I wasn't expecting something so small. It was beautifully composed and was picture ready. Just wasn't satisfied paying £16.95 for that meal. Although on the plus side - the flavour combinations was delicious. But I felt they could have done more with the dish or priced it lower.
Some more positive notes, was the hot chocolate was delicious and reasonable priced and I ordered a side of fries that was covered in sriracha sauce, which was recommended by my waiter. 👌🏾
V. F.
It was so lovely to visit this beautiful Cafe with my friend. The food was fantastic, and they have VEGAN black pudding! Wow! I ate a Vegan English Breakfast, and was absolutely tasty and good portion of food.
S. W.
This place definitely brightens up Watford for sure! The whole vibe, decor, colours and flowers - in terms of style and atmosphere I don’t think there’s anything else like it in Watford. The place to go if you want to really get dressed up, put your heels on and do your hair. Before I go into the review I’d like to mention that I have been here a few times, I really wanted to give The Florist a chance. So here are my thoughts.
Service - The staff are nice but inexperienced, most of them are very young and have not been trained about the restaurants own dishes (how they are cooked, ingredients, taste etc), how to serve correctly, how not to pour wine and so on. On every occasion I have been here there have been many mistakes made. One time the waitress came back 5 times to ask me what drink I had ordered. So all in all service is not what you’d expect.
Food - Over the times I have been here I have had to send back probably 3-4 dishes myself. On one occasion we took my father for his birthday here and he sent back his two dishes. Either the food was not cooked properly, the wrong dish was served, the food was cold or the meat was just full of fat (lamb was not trimmed, and so 85% of the lamb dish was actually fat). Instead of serving a brand new portion the chef just cut the fat off and reserved the dish - cold. Over all the food did not blow me away. The best thing on the menu I would say were the bau bau buns and the desserts.
Drinks/Cocktails - Defiantly the best drink menu in Watford. A lovely range and mix of alcoholic and non alcoholic drinks. Served very decoratively and stylish - perfect for the gram and also yummy!
Overall, I would say it’s a lovely place to go and socialise have some cocktails and get all dressed up for the evening. My only issue is that for the prices they charge I would expect a more refined service from the staff and for more care to be taken with the food. Would also say would be good to train their staff better and have higher expectations of themselves when delivering a service in that kind of place.
J. P.
What a restaurant this is!Atmosphere was electric as was the food and service..The Mushroom starter was crunchy and tasty..Tje prawn starter was sublime as were the chicken wings..
Mains were The rib eye steaks which were beautifully cooked and sent out with love and care..Halloumi hanging kebab was stunning as well..Chicken burger was crispy and tasty and sexy..Never thought I would call a chicken burger sexy but it was..The pork belly hanging kebab was in a league of it's own.. WOW WOW WOW..Bang Bang I literally drank as opposed to dipping 😂😂.....The music was absolutely brilliant and you feel a vibe in a wide age group of the restaurant which is for everyone..But finally I have to mention our Lovely waitress Lucy..Seriously guys...She was bloody brilliant and fun and caring..The best service I have ever received. We travelled approximately 30 miles to come tonight and it was worth it..Lucy made it extra special by just being lovely and caring...
10 out of 10..
BRILLIANT BRILLIANT BRILLIANT
HIGHLY RECOMMEND..
Thanks all and ESPECIALLY Lucy...
PS...The old fashioned cocktail was Tekkers..😂😂😂
As was the Magician.........!!!!!!!👍👍👍👍👍😎

It was the first time I went there, the wait to be served felt like forever, you had to get the attention of the waiting staff, the starters was gorgeous, the Seafood Ramen was very salty so had to send it back and finally to have a hot drink you need to ask the staff as they don't have a menu so you have no idea what you are paying for but we waited at least 20 minutes after placing the order for the hot drinks. I love the decor throughout the restaurant and it was very spacious. Be careful when trying to find the entrance as it is on the right side of Las Iguanas.
L. W.
The place itself was a little difficult to find as it is upstairs overlooking the high street and in pouring rain it was hard to see the sign. We decided to have a drink at the bar first. The two different vases of gin and tonic are a nice idea but didnt work for us with both the accompaniments in one and we weren't keen on the peppercorns. However we enjoyed a lovely dinner in the restaurant. Buzzy but relaxed atmosphere and interesting decor. Small plates were great for trying many of the dishes and there were plenty to choose from. Favourites were the seared tuna, chicken wings, tenderstem, edename beans, coconut rice...The food was very good and we were looked after by the delightful Justine.
A. B.
Went to celebrate a special occasion and this place looks absolutely brilliant. Great food, desserts and best cocktails.
Very friendly staff and a place that you should visit in Watford.
D. R.
The venue itself looks like it came out of a fairytale. The drinks are delicious and refreshing. Food is not their strongest point though, neither the service. Great place for girls night.
A. C.
Did not disappoint!
After reading a few reviews online after I had booked a table I was very skeptical. HOWEVER, I could not find a single fault from the beautiful surroundings to the wonderful food. The server was helpful and patient with our order and they made sure we had everything we needed.
We will definitely be coming back here :)
M. V.
Iolo who was our waiter provided us with a great service and was very friendly. The place had a beautiful vibe.
M. H.
A pretty space with lots of interest. Adorned with flowers and garden bits and pieces. This makes for space between tables and a sizeable investment!
This new restaurant is good for parties and late nights out. The food probably the weakest point with much testing the same and of sweet chilli.
Nice staff and reasonable prices.
New look watford has gained by having The Florist.
Give it a try !
A.
The most instagrammable brunch spot in watford!
Extravagantly decorated with flowers in every nook and cranny, you are sure to get the perfect Instagram shot!
The food is okay, it's pretty good but not the best brunch food Ive had. I tried the vegan breakfast, which was really filling, however was slightly disappointed by the scrambled tofu, but otherwise was not a bad meal!
The service here was incredible and super friendly, would defintiely come here again!
I would recommend the biscoff and Nutella french toast!
K. M.
The florist is a whole vibe!!
The food & drinks were divine & reasonably priced. Atmosphere was just right for the time of day & the decor is magical.
Every aspect of my visit was spot on.
Highly recommend a visit here :)
C. A.
Chilled out atmosphere, great cocktails, very friendly and accommodating staff.
M. O.
Beautiful decor, and staff were very polite. Sunday menu was rather limited, mostly pork options, would be good to have more variety of fish and chicken dishes. Also, food service was rather slow. My order of lamb kebab wasn't hot when it was served, which was rather disappointing, considering how long we waited.
P. P.
Really lovely place to eat. Great atmosphere, love the deco. Would defo recommend a visit with friends.
K. W.
Very good service, food very well prepared and the flavour was very devine.
K. O.
Environment great, starters great, desserts great, Sunday roast mains not so great. Roast potatoes very poor, roast beef passable but really poor for a restaurant at this level, pork belly and roast lamb overcooked but they did at least swap the lamb for the beef without drama. If this review was about the Sunday mains I would struggle to justify two stars, sorry.
M. S.
Lovely meal for an evening out, I had their Bang Bang cauliflower for starters and a lovely drink called Elderflower Garde
…then tried the Chicken hanging kebab with sriracha fries, so nice😋
L. H.
Great food, great atmosphere, great service and advice on menu choices! I would definitely recommend!
S.
Lovely, sweet flowered scented place for food and drinks. The menu is great but what I found extra special were the waitresses personal favourites for food and drink options. Great place for photos too.
S.
Absolutely amazing experience, food was incredible and staff were fantastic! A great evening, will go again!
L. S.
I came here for my 21st on the 18th March. Was served by Lucy. She was amazing! Kept the drinks flowing and the food was so yummy! She was friendly, kind, knew the menus (including the best drinks). It Made my birthday really special. Thank you Lucy & The florist. You will be seeing me again.
k. p.
I had the Lamb hanging kebab. It was lovely. Decor is awesome. The smell is devine. Staff are friendly and helpful. It was a brilliant lunch. 😃
J. H.
Lovely venue, only did drinks but a must to return for brunch.
T.
Food was average. Glad we went on the Eat out to help out offer. Service was reasonable, but disappointed that they didn’t tell us that certain menu items were not available until we tried to order them. We were asked to leave our table after 1.5 hours, even though there were plenty of empty tables around. Overall a beautiful place but lacking substance.
A. C.
Service was amazing! The katsu burger was good but felt it was a tad dry. There was barely any sauce on the burger. There should be an option to purchase the extra curry/katsu sauce. The chips were really good (I forgot what style they were, but they weren't spicy at all - in case you were concerned).
The dessert was absolutely amazing. At first glance, you think it's not enough; it's deceiving! The raspberry coated doughnuts tasted SO good! I absolutely loved them!
Despite the 4 stars (due to the lack of sauce in the burger), I would still come here again. I loved the interior design of The Florist. It was different, which I liked.
V. J.
Very instagrammable place, it is extremely pretty. It has a nice relaxed vibe to it too, I personally think the food was ok but nothing grand. Would say it was more about the decor then the actual restaurant it's self. The staff were friendly. There was a fairly long wait between main and dessert due to a mix up but they rectified it by apologies and removed it from the bill without me having to say anything which was very kind of them. So the customer service I received was very good. Worth a visit if you like different places to go and are into taking photos for social media.

I visited yesterday for lunch with a friend. surprisingly big bar with a really well decorated and laid out resturant. The staff were all very enthusistic and efficiant. The food isn't one type, they had English, Australian, Thai, ... We both had chicken Ramen, which was great. The only bizarre thing was out of about 30 diners, I was one of 3 men - it is very pink.

Loved it here last night. Only popped in for drinks, but vibe of the place was great and music was fantastic. Great decor. Loved it
P. G.
Beautiful restaurant. Great food and not overly expensive. Cocktails were great too. Would like to go again
M. W.
Loved it! Felt totally (COVID) safe sat in the restaurant for our daughters 17th birthday
Staff were lovely, really polite and served us with top class attention
D. H.
Beautiful restaurant, Instagram worthy. Food...not so much. Just a little underwhelming. However for the right occasion it's not a bad option though
S. B.
Had a beautiful birthday meal on Friday 13th, excellent food, attentive waiter and great atmosphere, would definitely recommend, suggest booking as well because it is very busy.

Love love love this place
Food was awesome
Setting was fab
Nice layout
Can't wait to go back
D. Y.
This is my new oasis. The food was great, drinks spot on and staff were top notch, special thanks to Ewa for making us feel so well taken care of on a special day for the two of us.
C. B.
Giving 5 stars as we went as a couple. Not sure it's the same for families/groups - really was quite loud music.
5/5 - service, 5/5 - drinks 4.5/5 - food
E. L. N.
Food was ok, very clean and tidy
A. P. (.
Very nice, clean and beautiful place to have romantic dinner or just casual meeting or lunch with friends. Amazing food, colourful cocktails and polite staff and beautiful decor and vibe.
A. A.
Very pretty and lovely cocktails. I went on a Sunday evening so not too busy. I only had drinks so I can't review rhe food. Great ambiance.
L. B.
The Florist is a beautiful place to eat at. You are greeted by a lovely scent of flowers when coming through the entrance. Excellent service from our hostess.
R.
From the moment you walk into this place it's floral, pink, Instagram heaven. They have ensured that every corner is cute to have photos taken.
The drinks menu is great with some really amazing cocktails. I had a couple of the Raspberry Candy Sours and I highly recommend it if you like sweet drinks. Ordered a lot of starters which was absolutely delicious and the way they cooked the food was unique to anywhere else I've had similar food so they nailed it.
The only downside was the service, extremely slow and waited ages to even get their attention. We went on a Friday afternoon so it wasn't busy at all. Even when we arrived we stood at the front for 5 mins and even though the bar staff could see we were waiting no one approached us. This isn't the 1st time I've been here and the last time I came the service was pretty much the same and it really is off putting.
As much as I really enjoyed the food and drinks I wouldn't come back. Service is the most important part of any hospitality industry and they are one of the most awful ones out there. The fact that you have to keep calling your waitress to order and are left for ages without being served is not good.
g. l.
Deco is really nice, food wasn't the best, they over cooked the chips and my dessert, I ordered cookie dough and got a cookie which was dry.
J. G.
Its such a cute place with a really relaxing vibe! For families, friends, couples; anyone basically 😁
L. J.
Gorgeous restaurant. Stunning decor. Food is amazing. £10 voucher given to anyone sporting a Christmas jumper!
m.
Pretty decor! Very instagrammable! Spacious nice atmosphere. light food good for brunch or drinks!
F. M.
The service was really kind, a guy managed our table and he's been very patient with me and my kids. Recommended!
M. G.
Wow! What an amazing place! I booked up to celebrate my daughter's graduation and the food was absolutely delicious. Our waitress was so helpful and super friendly with nothing too much trouble. Although this was our first ever visit to the florist, we will definitely be coming back soon.
D. K.
First time eating here . V nice place , fantastic service. Omlette was slightly undercooked but the staff made it right . Will deffo come back .
J. G.
Can not think of anything bad about this place. Everyone was amazing, from doing their best to fit my group in the busy weekend, to their amazing cocktails and food! Went for dinner and brunch and I am so looking forward to my next visit! Our waitress was fun and uplifting and even overhead me saying it was my birthday and brought my dessert out with a candle and sung happy birthday. The florist definitely goes above and beyond.
C. F.
Places was really pretty. But the food is a bit pricey and taste is okay..
S. P.
Great atmosphere, great service and yummy food. Pictured is halloumi hanging kebab, fries, cauliflower, prawns and fish 'n' chips
K. T.
Great music and good for a night out but food isn't great. We had a 9.30 restaurant booking, by the time we got our main courses it was 10.30. I asked for some extra curry sauce for my Katsu curry dish and was informed the kitchen was closed- why let you make a 9.30 booking? Overall didn't think the food was up to par at all. Drinks, music and atmosphere were great and the food just let's them down
S. C.
Bang bang cauliflower was amazing, plant based burger meal was great apart from the chips having too much seasoning (minor point).
T. F.
This is a beautiful restaurant with fabulous decor. I went for brunch with two friends. It was fairly busy but the tables are well spaced out. We ordered from the brunch menu. I had the salmon pate ,which was absolutely delicious. The toast served with it was very thin and overcooked. I had the overnight oats, which were very good. I also had the melon slice and pink grapefruit. The grapefruit was really nice but the melon was hard and tasteless. I ordered the 'red' juice which was served in a shot glass. It was very tasty and I certainly could have had more! The staff were very friendly .
T. W.
Fabulous decor and great service, but the food is a bit of a let down.
I. P.
The atmosphere is great, both the restaurant and the bar have beautiful settings. Definitely an insta worthy venue.
Cocktails are about the same price as what you would pay around London and everything I've tried was absolutely delicious!
Food was a complete let-down, I had the steak which was meant to be medium cooked and what I received resembled a well done steak. Not only that, but the meat was very chewy and full of gristle, among one of the worst steaks I've ever had. The triple cooked chips were definitely triple cooked, as there was no fluffiness inside. The nutella doughnuts were ok.
Would come back for drinks, definitely not for food.
N. F.
My first visit. Such a different concept. The bar and restaurant are high ceilinged and beautifully decorated. You are hit by flower scent as you enter. I was there for lunch and all of us enjoyed our choices which were superbly cooked and imaginatively presented. Desserts were terrific. Try the chocolate and peanut butter pot! Service was friendly but slowed a little towards the end of the meal. Otherwise a lovely experience and highly recommended.
D. L.
Last couple week ago celebration my friends birthday here, we have very wonderful night here, friendly staff and amazing food. Recommend here for everyone.
D. A. B.
It's a nice restaurant! The food it's good but the portions are small and little bit expensive. I recommend for an important dinner.
R. S.
Okay place, the interior is nice with the décor but the food/service is nothing to go back to.
V. D.
Second time and what a beautiful venue. Took my daughter and Niece as a girly treat. So pretty, pink and the staff were so attentive.
K. N.
I went to the Florist this afternoon with my kids. A lovely place and creative plates we enjoyed with.
K. A.
Lovely restaurant, looks & smells fantastic recommend the 'hanging kebabs' (there is veggie kebab) cheerful, efficient staff, reasonably priced. Socially distanced tables, customer numbers limited. Thoroughly recommended.
A. M.
Very friendly restaurant with lots on offer. Reasonably priced too
J. C. (. C.
a very pretty place for people who love to get their photos taken. i went for the cocktails but unfortunately they were mediocre and overpriced!
G. K.
Beautiful restaurant, great service, lovely birthday treat! Highly recommend 👍🏼
M. F.
Beautifully decorated. First time here with my sister. Prawns as starter were delicious. I ordered the Korean chicken burger whilst zi could taste gochugang sauce the chicken burger was like 2 pieces of overcooked popcorn chicken so disappointing. My sister had the chicken kebab and said it was delicious. Will try again in Spring if new menu. Service very slow!
A. D.
Wonderful atmosphere and the bar and restaurant look amazing. Prices are ok
M. j.
What a fab looking place. The staff and service were really great and every corner is insta-worthy.
Dining felt very safe, with tables well-spaced, sanitiser on every table and staff in masks.
The drinks, starters & desserts were superb. Only thing that let it go from 5 to 4 stars was that my husband’s hamburger was almost burnt and he regretted not asking for it to be medium-rare, though he wasn’t asked to be fair. The other mains (halloumi burger, pork belly and turkey skewer) were nice.
The staff were all super friendly and super helpful, and parking was a doddle, even so close to Christmas. Will definitely return.
M. O.
What a find. Just beautiful from entering to leaving. Staff very welcoming. Food delicious.
M. C.
Tasty food friendly and pleasant staff who were very helpful
G. D. D.
Excellent customer service and experience. Menu can be pricey
D. F.
First time trying the food at Florist, I went there for Brunch. The options available in the menu are good but limited, for example there was one option for eggs - fried eggs. I wonder whether they would take requests if you didn't fancy your eggs to be fried?! But I did like how you can build your own breakfast/brunch, where if you only wish to have only 1 or 2 items on your plate, then that's exactly what you can order. The cornbread with jalapeños was delicious. The only let down I had during this visit was how long it took for the hot drinks to arrive, we were eating and all when they finally came. Water was available at the table from the beginning though.
M. R.
Good food, great service from waiter, highly recommended.
J. N.
Lovely food, great decor, yummy cocktails.
J. S.
Very pretty place to eat and drink. Although the food is pricey, you get what you pay for. Fast service at the bar.
G.
Definitely need to update their bookin services. Booked a table for 8 as date and time slot was available on site. A day or 2 later cancelled by restaurant. Like many restaurants in the booking section the Florist should have times that are available and that are not, as not to be left disappointed. Luckily we found other restaurant for the date and time to accommodate us. Seems now you need to book at least 3 or even 4 weeks to get a date here. Apart from that a good restaurants with a lovely theme and food. Book well in advance to avoid disappointment.
S. D.
I have been here a few times but decided to review this time. We had a great evening, with attentive staff, great choice of food, and fast service.
The menu is good, mainly burgers and grills, it was difficult to find a healthy option. Even the salad was a panzanella style salad with more bread and cheese than veggies. But the dishes were good and the food tasty so can’t complain!
A special mention for the sriracha fries - I’d love to know what seasoning they’ve used on these!
Would definitely visit again.
j. p.
Wow wow and wow! La casa del Flores it is ! 😁❣️ Gorgeous place for a cocktail or a delicious meal!
D. A.
Food was nice ... but steak a bit chewy.
Venue is lovey and so were the the staff
N. G.
Beautiful place, lovely ambience and great service. A real experience and treat
K. W.
Had a roast dinner. Meat was lovely, roast potatoes had good taste but sadly undercooked. The Cauliflower cheese came out cold and they forgot the pigs in blankets. Shame as it had rhr potential to be very tasty..We paid £54 for 2 people with a small glass of wine and pint of cola, just had mains. For that price I would not have expected so many mistakes. The ambience is great though.
G. I.
Excellent food. Great place to take the family out.
J. S.
Saturday the 28th of August was a very special night for myself and 3 friends & The Florist and their staff made it go perfectly! From Simon at the door, the lads working the bar and to our waitress Anna-Marie, they were all fantastic. Food was incredible and the atmosphere was perfect! Thank you for making our night one to remember! (all the way from Glasgow, i'll hopefully be back soon)
Thank you.
S. P.
The place is beautifully decorated, very instagrammable, but nothing special about the food or the service.
C. J.
It was very busy when we went but the food, drinks and service was very good. Only problem was I kept having to go and find a straw (gin glass full of ice and garnish couldn't really drink without one).
The venue itself is very beautiful. Struggled getting down those wooden stairs in heels though. Just a heads up.
S. B.
Fabulous lunch - beautiful ambience -Joao was so polite and kind. Felt truly worth a special afternoon
B. T.
Super service. Lovely staff. Amazing food. They also took care of my request for a personalised to note. Totally recommend it. Will definitely visit again.
D. O.
Such a nice place. Nice food and surroundings. The florist have really put alot into fitting the space out.
K. G.
Lovely place with beautiful decor. The background music is a little loud but thats not major.
Food is good, great cocktails and helpful staff.
T. G.
Amazing decor and atmosphere definitely worth a visit. I would definitely recommend for a girls night out as great for taking pictures. I went for dinner unfortunately food isn’t there strong point very disappointed with my choice of Steak which was awful.....! My second choose the popular kebabs which wasn’t great either. What I will say our waitress was extremely friendly and good at trying to rectify this. Cocktails excellent lovely but expensive most of our bill was the drinks 😐😐 would I go back “ yes” for a drink or just a lunch .....hope this review helps.
M. H.
Excellent lunch today. Calamari exceptionally good. Everything delicious. Excellent service too. Thanks especially to Mario. Happy New Year to you all.
V.
Absolutely stunning venue! Beautiful surroundings and superb food! A couple of hiccups at our visit but expertly managed by a lovely team! If your looking for somewhere unique, to eat and drink this is your place!
R. J.
Unbelievable ambience inside with the flowers and trees. I'll recommend anyone to go in and have a taste.
J. W.
Met friends here for first post Covid drink. First time at The Florist and was impressed. Felt like a more grown up place although there was a good cross section of ages there. We didn't eat but sat in the bar area on their lovely comfy chairs. All very welcoming and felt quite safe with all the staff masked up. Would recommend.
B. j.
Very fancy place and serves wonderful food. Staff are lovely as ever!
K. P.
Went for lunch with an old friend, as he suggested The Florest. I'd never been, but I'd seen photos on Instagram and such. The building is so light and airy being on the first floor, and I was taken aback by how beautiful the decor was. The food was delicious and I was generally very impressed. I'm not usually the girly type, but it was certainly a nice change
l. s.
Absolutely unreal food is amazing! Service amazing I wish I could give 10 stars , the food though seriously incredible and generous portions to the point
My partner and I couldn’t finish all of it! The staff so helpful and willing to go out of their way to help
P. R.
Beautiful place. Good range of cocktails. A very busy one... better get the seats reserved
K. C.
Lovely place to eat but the food is a bit overpriced for the size and quality
D. H.
First time to the florist, food was good impressive drinks. Service at table very good. Only thing which let them down was feeling a bit ignored when first arrived at reception and waiting for quite a while to be shown to table
R. D.
Lovely atmosphere, good food, delicious cocktails and not too expensive but what made our experience was the wonderful service with excellent staff (especially Helen!)
L. V.
Such a nice ambience, the most friendly service and absolutely delicious food. We had such a pleasant time. We will come back soon!
O. C.
One of the most pleasant and elegant restaurant in Watford...the food is really on another level. Staff very friendly and professional. A place that's worth being visited.
U.
Not cheap but what is these days, good food, nice place to sit for a few. Service is on point here!.
c. i.
OMG love this restaurant! My husband and I have visited twice in the last three weeks. Simple uncomplicated menu of delicious dishes and yummy cocktails, the best I’ve tasted in a long time. We were greeted by the beautiful Mikaela (supervisor/manager, not sure) on both occasions and made to feel welcome, she managed to find a table for us though we hadn’t booked. Her food and drink recommendations were spot on and all with a smile. Florist is now our regular treat, we shall be bringing friends too. Thanks Mikaela you made our anniversary meal memorable. 10/10 Oh! And the venue smells gorgeous!
M. D.
We were there for a birthday lunch and our waitress Eva picked up on this (we have not mentioned anything about it) and surprised us with a delicious dessert and a candle. The food was amazing and the whole service just great.
M. O.
Beautiful! Great food, and I mean mouth watering. They've got the pricing right aswell, nice vibe and atmosphere, can definitely recommend
B. S.
Beautiful interior and good service, but the food (famous kebab) wasn't particularly exciting and a but expensive for what it was. Go here for a nice atmosphere and interior.
A. D.
Really quirky place to eat, we went for brunch, I prefer savoury and went for the full English and a latte, she prefers sweet and went for the French Toastie, & hot chocolate.
The full English was good quality, the bread was fresh and the sausages had a strong herby flavour. The French Toastie with chocolate was *lovely and incredibly sweet*. Decor was amazing. Two downsides, the outside seating area was small and generally unavailable and the menu was very limited.
R. V.
Beautiful place. Good crowd. Smells lovely with all the flowers. Great spot for taking photos. Good selection of gins
J. H.
Beautiful food, very yummy cocktails and Joao was such a diamond 5 stars for the service alone.
S. R.
This place since it’s been open has been a blessing to Watford.
J. M.
Had a lovely ladies night out, food was nice especially the bang bang cauliflower, lovely cocktails too.
S.
Unfortunately for us all the roast dinners were done, however the ambience, service and cocktails were all good.
N. C.
Very polite and helpful service from Joao. Came with a very big group and he was very patient and attentive. Lovely food & very pretty restaurant.
G. D.
Lovely food and great unique ambience.
Will be going again!
M. E. C.
Amazing food and staff 💕
V. V.
The website online booking system showed no availability. So I called them and was able to secure a table. Good atmosphere and decor. Bit disappointed that they got the food order incorrect and also forgot to bring the cocktail. The food portions are good but taste is bland/average. Food options are very limited if you are vegetarian.
K. E.
Great for a girls night, we really enjoy coming here. The whole place is great for photos, the decor is beautiful. It's more London prices than Watford, but I think it's worth it as they have a really good drinks menu and the whole atmosphere is great. Sometimes they have a DJ, they even had a saxophone and man on the bongos one night!
A. T.
Took my sister as a birthday treat and we had a lovely meal and non alcoholic cocktail. Very welcoming of our children too despite the place not really being aimed at them.
Been a couple of times now for food and drink and will be back again.
M. C.
Went here with family and other friends Saturday afternoon. The location was just right, not to crowded, not empty just perfect for a great dinner. I've been really impressed by the interior design. Great ideas with plenty flowers and trees. Everything well organised and friendly staff. Also the food was tasty and nicely cooked. Good price for the quality. Recommend.
A. N.
Tasty food and the interior is very pretty. Good service from our waitress. It's a pity though that your order doesn't arrive at the same time as dining out is a social experience and it would be good to be eating your meal with the rest of the group. One main meal arrived while we were still eating our starter and so it just got cold. We had a table booked for 9.30 pm. We did request an earlier table but apparently there weren't any. The kitchen closed at 10.30pm and so we had 1 hour to choose our food and drinks. A bit rushed.
V. W. (.
Very nice, polite service. Beautiful place
S. H.
Went the other day. Lovely restaurant
N. V.
Great food but little bland and lots of noise from fans, it felt like I was near a jet plane
N. K.
The place is absolutely beautiful and really well thought out. It will leave you amazed. They food is good. Not as good as the décor but still good. My breakfast had to best back twice as it was right the first time and the second time the beans were burnt, but the staff were super helpful and replaced as necessary. Very friendly atmosphere.
S. G.
Amazing décor, good vibe and solid selection of drinks. Friendly and attentive service. Interesting menu but food was slightly disappointing. Will go back as it was very busy, which may have caused the over cooked food.
P. B.
Lovely atmosphere and decoration inside, chicken wings to start were a bit bland but the chicken and chorizo main was very nice. The katsu my fiancee ordered was also a bit bland. Overall nice and we would go back again
N. R.
Great rooftop terrace, lovely for a summer evening!
H. S.
Excellent service and excellent ambiance.

Decor is vibrant
Food is very good

Lovely setting for cocktails and food
A. M.
My friend and I went for lunch today at The Florist for the first time. the place itself is beautiful. We were attended by a gentleman who took us to our table. He was very kind. Then our table waitress Lucy was the most helpful and very patient with us whilst we were choosing our drinks. She was very kind and always had a smile on her face and engaged in a very friendly conversation with us which made us feel very special. Her colleague Stella was also very helpful and kind with us. Overall we received very good service at the Florist. I would totally recommend it. Good job.
T. L.
Decor great but dissapointed with food. Mediocre lunch and waited quite a while on our table of 11 to all get what we ordered not good value. Great photo opportunities with the floral display and bar area great. Good for drinks pm but all show and no substance for eating.
R. B.
Great food, wonderful atmosphere, amazing decor would definitely recommend.
K. M. S.
Beautiful place. Everything is always brilliant. My only criticism is that music is too loud. I don't need a speaker above my head in the restaurant whilst eating. Recently I ate as a group of 6 and apart from the person next to me, I couldn't hear what anyone was saying. Even the waitresses had lean in to hear me. Inevitably we were given wrong wine because no one could hear each other
L. G.
Fresh and bright inside, pretty food food too
R. G.
Great for a brunch or for evening drinks. Live saxophone player is a great touch
Tables go quickly so plan to be there for the long haul
Bar can have long wait times but just means you’ll have to double park when you get there!
E. K.
Lovely place for brunch! ❤️
The staff very friendly and welcoming 😊
I. Q.
Amazing customer service, very kind staff, beautiful place, tasty food! Well done 👏 the owner and his son was awfully welcome and friendly 💙 I strongly recommend it 👍
J. S.
Parking is a nightmare (tbf that's watford) DJ a touch loud for dinner conversation, food on point, service amazing.
K. G.
I visited here on a saturday afternoon. Its very pretty. Atmosphere is great and a lovely place to take photos with tour best friend. However - I found the service quite bad. The majority if the servers looked like they hated being there and had a face on. Not all of them, but most of them looked like hey just did not care. The service was bad. We ordered drinks and they took over 20 minutes to come and this happened a couple of times - the only times we ordered drinks. The drinks were very overpriced in my opinion too.
Food was ok. Similar style to wagamamas
Was lovely to go for the first time but wouldnt go again.
G. S.
Been to Florist on a Sunday afternoon when ordered a cocktail and a mango and passion fruit non alcoholic something. Both full of ice cubes with not so generous pure content in them.
Tasting wise, they were by far the worst I’ve personally ever tried and had so far.
It’s a shame, as the location has a very nice vibe, but when it comes to customer oriented service, a huge lack of professionalism.
Might be a different story on some days, who knows, anyway I had the bug to visit the venue at least once, though it turned out as a big disappointment.
Threw a glance at the kitchen as such, and to be honest I would not eat anything from it, so to speak.
As quality is paramount to me, I would not recommend it. The competition is and has to be as high as it can be. Period.
A.
An absolute gem hidden in Watford - instagram worthy venue with a tasty menu. The staff could be more attentive as some of them were a bit rude and abrupt but the others were brilliant so its touch and go really and no-one wants to spend their money to be spoken to rudely by the waitress. I marked the place down because of the staff otherwise it is a lovely place to go to eat. The menu could also have more options for children.
M. S.
Lovely spot in Watford. Deco is beautiful! Food is pretty good and great to share too. Came here on a Tuesday night and it was quite busy. The vegan menu is pretty extensive. Definitely will be returning. Popped in on a Sunday afternoon with a baby and surprisingly it was quite child friendly too. The lift for the buggy is very slow. Not sure on changing facilities but they did have high chairs. Will definitely be returning.
S. J.
As usual food and service was excellent
J. W.
Interesting menu, helpful friendly staff good food and good atmosphere.
L. F.
What an absolutely stunning place. Beautiful decorations and fabulous food. Would definitely recommend and want to go again very soon.
B. D.
It was ok. Place was empty when we were there and service wasnt that attentive. Bar man had to look up how to make the cocktails which made service slow. Prices are a little high considering the standard of the drinks. You can get far better for same price at London Cocktail clubs.
M. H.
The food was great , really polite waiting staff. But really need to improve on the music .
Second visit . Really impressed with the food and service yet again. Our food was delayed and the staff made up for it. Made permanent customers of us.
J. E.
This review is for the brunch, I haven't tried the dinner or drinks menu yet.
The first point to note is obviously the stunning interior. The decoration is everything you would expect in a place called "The Florist" and is absolutely gorgeous. I especially liked the detail of all the waiters wearing aprons as if you really were in a florist's. A nice touch. On the subject of waiters, the staff is lovely and very helpful, even though, closer to the lunch rush, they seemed a bit overwhelmed with the amount of customers. That isn't really their fault though and they never stopped being anything but polite and attentive, but if this place stays as popular as it is right now, management might want to look into hiring more people.
The menu offers most of the things you'd expect on a brunch menu (except for eggs benedict, which were sorely missed by a few of us) and everything was delicious and looked stunning on the plate. The portion sizes, too, left nothing to be desired and to top it all off, the prices are really rather on the low end, especially for what you get. You'd expect The Florist to charge twice as much as they do and you'd still probably pay it.
The Florist is quite a welcome new addition to Watford and I, personally, will definitely be back.
D. P.
Came here with my wife on a Friday afternoon for lunch - booking made over the phone on the day so happy to be accommodated considering it is a new and popular place.
Seated quickly and generally experienced good service - no major problems on that front.
The restaurant itself is beautifully put together and is a nice addition to Watford and the surrounding area.
Unfortunately we didn't feel the food lived up to the standard of the decor or the prices, it was underwhelming. The veggie Gyoza were lukewarm on arrival and felt bland to the taste and the Katsu chicken burger wasn't bad but really nothing special despite it being presented very nicely. The Sriracha fries were delicious and we enjoyed the doughnuts!
Worth a visit and if the prices were lower then perhaps it would be 4* but at the current prices, expectation is higher.
Also we noticed that when we ordered drinks, the glasses arrived with lots of droplets of water inside them, it's a basic thing but good restaurants would serve in polished and dry glasses and that detail would not be missed.
G. D. C.
Beautiful place I’ve ever seen. If you are thinking of hen party or day out with friends, this is indeed the spot for you. Affordable prices, amazing service and absolutely amazing atmosphere. The food is amazing and you will enjoy every second of it.
I. P.
Beautiful place for flower lovers. Customer service was okay. The food option was great unfortunately they didn't have the dishes we wanted. We ended up ordering something else which was mushy and tasteless. Overall, it is a nice space to enjoy a cup of tea.
s.
I had wanted to come here for a while after seeing all the pictures online and thinking that the menu looked yummy so decided to book a table to celebrate my three year anniversary with my boyfriend. The restaurant itself is very pretty although there is little seating in the bar. If there was more seating we may have stayed for drinks longer. The starters were good however I was not impressed by my main the portion size was quite small. I had the chicken katsu curry, there was not enough sauce so it ended up being dry. My partner had teriyaki steak and found that it was quite fatty. Overall I would say you don't get much food for your money if you come to eat here. Not worth the hype.
A. b.
Amazing food and drink, good atmosphere, stunning décor HOWEVER totally let down by restaurant staff (bar staff were fine). We had to get up from our table and find someone to take our order, then after no one came to offer us more drinks we actually went to the bar ourselves to order drinks and being back into the restaurant then we also have to go find someone to ask to pay the bill after waiting 25 mins for our waitress. The short blonde waitress was miserable and useless, apart from that everything was great!
J. A.
I went there on a Saturday night with my friends. The decor and atmosphere was really nice! However I wouldn't bother spending any money here, because everything is a rip off out of principal. My friend got a vodka and coke and I got a gin and tonic. They were so, so, so watered down, I would struggle to fail a breathalyser test. When my friend went to the bar to complain he was told "this how we measure our drinks." If you want a proper drink I wouldn't recommend wasting your hard earned money here.
D. C.
Beautifully decorated restaurant, lovely friendly welcoming staff and food (Brunch) was great! Perfect.....
P.
A friend had brought me to this place and when we walking in it actually looked like a florist! The bar area was great to sit at and have a couple of drinks before the meal. The food was great and a really quick service too.
O. S.
An absolute gem ! From the incredible interior to the choice of cocktails, I would very much recommend the Florist. The fare is very much pan Asian, even if the beers and wine are solidly European, and you can choose a selection of small plates to try dishes from half a dozen countries. Worth the price, especially with the service we received.

Beautiful place food was excellent and staff were so friendly. And I would like to say a special thank you a member of waiting staff called Anna Marie who was so attentive and so friendly and was so good about all the mess my one year old grandson had made. Would recommend The florist.

Good meal with colleagues. Pricing was about right for the food. Atmosphere was good.
S. B.
A little pricey, but a lovely place to take a date.
T. G.
A great fun night out lovely spacious bar and dining area, live music saxophone was superb, music great, dance floor compact, noisy but comfortable. Great selection of gins and mocktails. Full but not crowded. Great atmosphere.
J. B.
The venue is perfect for those wishing to Instagram the minutiae of their evenings out. Drinks are reasonably priced and food is satisfactory. That said, an equally enjoyable experience with superior service and comparable quality drinks can be attained downstairs at Las Iguanas.

This place has good atmosphere, good customer service and is a good venue to go with your friends in order to socialise.
I would recommend to anyone who is looking for somewhere to sit eat or drink and want to relax or be social or and have a great time with your friends. Great for events as well we had a birthday do here
J. W.
Really nice venue with friendly staff but I had three cocktails and they were not good. Bloody Mary made with Sriricha sauce, just wrong. The staff behind the bar were very young, perhaps some more cocktail training would be useful.

Loved the ambience! Really cool place for a drink with friends!
B. W.
lovely place...went for father's day brunch.
nice English breakfast and pancakes too.
good service too. Sam waitress was very attentive & friendly, helpful.
would defo go back for the wonderful cocktail in the evening.

Cute place for social outings and drinks. Unfortunately wasn’t able to sit on the wonderful balcony which had lovely ambience, but will be back!

Great décoré and food! Terrible service!
8 of us had dinner at The Florist last night for my niece’s 21st. The food and the décoré are amazing but man the service was appalling! There were a variety of waitresses taking orders and delivering food and drink to our table in a fairly haphazard fashion often forgetting things so we had to ask for them again and again. I also had to pour all our wine, all night!
The bar didn’t have the first three draught beers I asked for so settled for a bottled one. The wine I ordered was also out of stock so I had to go a different route.
In the middle of the evening, half the waitresses left for the even and someone else came by eventually. She was actually better than the first lot.
One waitress tried to clear 8 side plates and all our cutlery in her hands without a tray - that was funny!
This place has potential but it is in desperate need to good management (or management at all) and some decent waitrons! Not sure I will be back the service was so bad!
R. K.
Lovely floral pink spacious coffee bar restaurant with balcony with a view to high street Watford. Cutlery wasnt so clean so I give 3 star.
L.
Lovely meal and the service was impeccable. Mario was great and very attentive. We will be back for sure!
R. N.
I went to have dinner at The Florist just before the new year and had lovely experience being served by Zachary. The cocktails were lovely and the food is decent. I will be coming back to try their pancakes :)
S. M.
Nice surroundings and polite staff but a slow drinks service. They could do with a few more staff behind the bar making cocktails but due to restrictions that may not be possible. Order two drinks maybe in one go!
L. L.
A fabulous place. Food and atmosphere lovely. Reasonably priced. Would definitely return if I lived closer.

Fantastic new restaurant and bar opened in Watford town centre. A lovely relaxing environment to have a drink or eat! Access is via a side entrance via steps or an elevator. Outside patio area to sit and relax. Well behaved dogs are also welcome in the bar area only!
Excellent choice of very high-quality yummy food available, Sunday they do a Sunday roast!
Music played over speakers that can be a little loud at times.

I had my birthday party with over 20 guests. Some of also had dinner lovely food. Staff were great and accommodating. Beautiful decor and great music
J. O.
Brunch for 2. Nice experience, I'd go again but I wouldn't be in a hurry to.
J. H.
It's a beautiful restaurant with amazing decor. But I was disappointed as we had a 45 minute wait for my birthday meal recently, however they did compensate by giving free drinks etc, So I would go for back another visit.
A. M.
We've been wanting to visit ever since it opened but had never had the chance to go. We were not disappointed. Food, drinks, service and decor were all great. Covid measures were good too. Looking forward to returning soon.

The decor and ambience of this place is delightful. Added extra of a random saxophone player was fun too. We ate from the set menu which we picked before arriving. The chicken wing starter was very tasty. Was extremely impressed by the teriyaki lamb chops that came with plain rice and beans. The chops were a generous size so if you're hungry, go for this! Dessert was the pink sugared, nutella doughnuts. I could only manage a bite as I was so full so if you have a sweet tooth and a love warm, sweet, chocolatey, gooey mess for dessert, go for it!

Lovely place, lovely food, lovely waitresses
R. H.
Lovely decoration, made me smile. Great cocktails, friendly service and fantastic food! The veggie dishes were excellent.

C. A.
Went there today for a girls meal with one of my friends due to having finished college. Did not disappoint the staff was very nice and so were the food and drinks
R. O. K.
Had dinner with a friend here … food was excellent, good atmosphere, excellent service from Mario ! Definitely recommend…
M. B.
Very flowery. Good portion sizes and very pleasant staff. Food a bit too aromatic for my liking but I'm sure most people would like it very much.
C. G. D.
Amazing: food, staff, place, everything!!
S. P.
Nice place, good food, service a bit poor as they brought main course but left the plates from the starter on the table, empty bottles too. We had to ask them to clear the table.
E. W.
The service is what made it extra special. The waitress really took care of our table for my mums birthday and was really good with the children. The food was lovely too!
S. A.
Beautiful decor, COVID friendly with limited numbers of people, masks, sanitiser etc. Food wasn't amazing, and menu was very limited. Cocktails were OK but nothing special. All round a good experience.
P. H.
Beautiful interior, good service and nice food. Seems to attract a mainly female clientele. Worth a visit.
S. B.
Coleslaw was off, overall nice food
R. B.
A sort of nightclub / restaurant with loud music. Beautiful place, I liked the decor. This is subjective but I hated the music. I was very disappointed that they had free tables but no chairs. We left after 30 minutes.
s.
Food was okay, staff were great
M. L.
The place looks lovely but don't expect real flowers, they're all fake. Nice food.
N. B.
Great decor and Lisa our server was great too but the food does not match. The chicken in box was ok but why serve with small beens in the pod that you have to shell yourself and the chicken burger was very greasy.
L. B.
Chilled environment, good music with a great Hendricks if you like your gin. Staff helpful and friendly that make you feel like your on holiday in high star hotel. Coming back here for sure
R.
Place is gorgeous, you need to go and see it to experience it. Food was surprisingly very nice. Only downside was the table was left messy for a while and the toilets were filthy.
M. H.
A very nice and decorated restaurant. The layout has been setup such that there is social distancing.
The menu is currently limited but there is a good selection of starters and mains.
F. M.
Loved this place. Visited on a weekend for lunch, good customer service and a variety of options on the menu. Good atmosphere and lovey decor. Would recommend!
F. D.
Good food, good price, lovely setting.
R. C.
Lovely trendy place with outdoor balconies. Didnt eat here but it did look pricey. Drinks were reasonable. Lovely staff
K. M.
Quality needs to improve and options but great setting and IG friendly.
Need to improve on gluten free options and more flexibility with dishes such as Feta, Halloumi, Avocado etc. These days those things are a must.
My Full English was ok, not great - need to have fresher or a higher quality sausage for the price.
L. H.
Lovely lunch food was excellent staff very friendly and great atmosphere will definitely go again
s. l.
Fantastic place, looks amazing and drinks and food are fantastic 👏
G. K.
Amazingly cool venue if you are looking for a fun Saturday night out with your crew. The bar and balcony are amazing places to hangout and soak in the vibe. Achingly trendy crowd, pumping music and of course resident DJ and live saxophone player pump out the tunes while you pick out your face cocktail from their great selection.
This place is designed from square one for instagramming to your heart's content. The hurricane of flowers that surround you when you go through the entrance is usually flush with a line of trendy people queuing to get that perfect selfie. Neon signs with flash quotes adorn the walls and you have a multitude of places to pose or just be a wall flower and enjoy the vibe.
Great restaurant with superb service finishes off this bouquet of delight.
M. M.
Food was very nice, atmosphere is great (subdued pastel colours). Prices reasonable. If there was music it was very quiet.
M. C.
This Old Bird, her daughter and two small children had brunch to day. It was an experience from start to finish, not just for the food but because Zachary and Daisy (yes it is her real name) made us so welcome. We'll be back but maybe next time Granny will have a wee cocktail. Many thanks
L. K.
Excellent restaurant, delicious food
V. G.
Great place to go for food or a nice refreshing cocktail. 🍹🍹
F. M.
The decor is great. Music too loud. Food good, slightly overpriced. Staff is nice
A. A.
Food and ambience are great. The y don't have takeaway boxes and leftover food is given wrapped in foil. Hence, 4* from me.
s. l.
We just had drinks, for the high street the prices were about what you would expect to pay. The place is beautifully decorated and the staff were friendly.
R. M.
The vegan bao board here was delicious, and the ambience/decor is lovely. The katsu curry was a bit average. Recommend the cocktails!
L. P.
Had an excellent meal. The restaurant was amazing . Food great, service great. Will be going back
L. B.
No queues, knowledgeable bar staff, good standards throughout too. Not the cheapest in Watford but if they maintain standards and level of trade, it's about right. Decor is great - soak it up, it's what makes the place.
a. m.
Good menu and choices of food. Had a great roast. The cocktail menu was impresssive and anything not on the menu you could request.
S. F.
Me and my husband spent a lovely lunch time with 2 courses.
Food was amazing, very kind and attentive staff.
Every restaurant should be done in this way.
Thank you.
B.
Great place to visit. Had a lovely 40th birthday brunch there. Definitely visiting again.
m. h.
Very nice, chicken was nicest I have tasted for a very long time, lovely ambiance, I personally couldn't afford to eat there regularly good for a treat though, can just go for drinks only
Z. D.
Fantastic food and great cocktails. Staff were lovely too!! Amazing setting and atmosphere!!

The Florist is a lively, fun, exciting pub with friendly bar staff. They offer great music and a great balcony area to sit and enjoy your drinks.
J. F.
Really pretty restaurant! Delicious food!!

We made reservations for 5 September for a gender reveal. Being from the United States they were very helpful, especially the female who greeted us and helped us do the deposit and...I don't know her name, sorry but maybe this information would help with knowing her name.
S. G.
First visit - will go again!
Great atmosphere, wonderful food and top service.
P. Z.
Lovely decor and interesting varied menu. Great cocktails. Live music or DJ some nights too. Food sort of a posh Wagamamma!
S. M.
Very friendly staff and very belpfull.enjoyed great vegan based shake. Will use again

Beautiful venue fabulous ambiance and a great place to enjoy support the florist...love the mural
E. B.
Beautiful eatery, good food and service, food moderately priced, special thanks to Scarlet who waited on our table, will definitely revisit.
D. S.
Great place for food and atmosphere, only issue when it's busy you'll be waiting a very long time to get a drink from the bar.
a. h.
Went for a friend's birthday treat and the place and staff was amazing. Would highly recommend going
J. R.
Cant remember going here..maybe i did and forgot lol
S. K.
Incredibly noisy in the restaurant to the point of ruining a beautiful place with high quality food. The noise level would be fine in a bar, but a restaurant, a big no no.
R. A.
Atmosphere and decorations are A1 best part of the whole night 👌🏾. But the food could have been better.
D. B.
Disappointed that with a small menu they didn't have my choice of starter or side. With all the hype I was really looking forward to going but have to say pretty average, nothing to write home about and personally although it was ok I wouldn't bother again.
M. P.
Absolutely loved this place ! Going back today !
p. S.
Lovely setting, lovely staff and lovely meal. I would definitely recommend a visit.
N. A.
nice staff, menu was a bit all over the place though food was overpriced but their chips (which was £4! for a little bucket) were alright
C. L.
Lovely cocktails, the food menu was quite limited.
N. B.
Great service, great food, great decor. Completely recommend the chicken and chorizo hanging kebabs
A. S.
Lovely lunch for 6 of us.

K. A.
Thank you to Hannah for her amazing service on Saturday. Great waitress, the door host was great. Food was lovely and the service was on point. Thank you
D. C.
Cocktails were good and not too pricy, noisy in the evening. Music and drummer too loud. Probably best for lunch
J. k.
How lovely! A great bar area, live music, friendly staff, an outside seating area and fabulous cocktails - what a lovely place!
J. M.
Beautiful restaurant, very pleasant on the eye and the food was great.
g. d.
Excellent food and service. Couldn't fault it
L.
Excellent cocktails, really nice atmosphere and bar, I'd say this is a classy place compared to some of Watfords establishments
