Visited for the pub quiz and had a meal prior to the quiz starting. I had the Cajun chicken on a bed of veg with house fries and a side of half a rack of ribs. My friend had the full rack of ribs with fries and garlic bread side. Both meals were fab. Very tasty and we didn't have to wait long at all. Fab service from the staff and a warm welcome from Natalie who was more than happy to discuss gluten free options with me. Brilliant atmosphere. Thanks all for a wonderful evening, shame I didn't win the quizz ;P better luck next time hopefully.

Nice Sunday afternoon meal we was on the way back from Western super mare so thought we'd give it a try. Wasn't to busy food was well presented and reasonably priced we would go back again.

It's not too bad here. Nice place to go if not too busy as can be long wait for food on busy days. Garden has plenty of seating but getting a bit tatty now as been a long time since last refurbishment . Reasonable prices but quality can suffer sometimes. Under new management so hopefully should improve. Much has improved since last visit, staff very friendly and helpful. Food is better. We booked a buffet for funeral which was lovely and good value for money. Still some areas to address especially toilets...they definitely need a good clean and spruce up.

Quite a large place with a very small area as a small child's park. A bit tired on the inside. Staff were polite and efficient. Food was ok, but nothing special. More of a holiday grab something to eat place, but it was alright.

Good meal although my daughter's request for a medium rare steak was difficult for them to get right. It came on one of these sizzling platters which continued to cook the steak more as it was brought from kitchen to table. It needs to be served on an ordinary plate.

Staff very friendly, flustered, but friendly, came For a family meal and was made to feel very welcome. Cannot fault the staff. However, The food was 45 minuits to arrive which I would understand as its fresh but sadly the chicken we ordered was burnt, and we had to ask for the salad which the meal was advertised as having, the steak I ordered medium rare and came really tough and over done, I would have said somthing but we were all So hungry and just wanted to eat. Although the food wasn't great the staff were lovely. Thank you for your friendlyness and we hope things get better for you all as I know it's been a tough time lately. I'm sure when we return things will be different. 😉👍

Waited 40 mins for food and it wasnt busy. Think the kitchen have timing issues because when food came the steaks were hot and the chips and sides were just warm. Ordered bread and butter and the butter just ran out the little packet because it was on a hot plate! Staff were friendly and it was clean.

Came for lunch on a sunny Saturday, Lisa was a friendly server making the whole experience really nice, food was great howether the starters where not so much, abit undercooked for our liking and small. Main meals where delicious and steaks where cooked to perfection!

Service was really good, do have a few comments however, The Old Manor Inn didn't seem to be up to date with their inventory and alot off both the drinks menu and main menu was unavailable, I had to order almost 3 times before something was deemed avaliable. I ordered a chicken tikka, the curry itself was really nice good flavour and spice, the rice was clearly microwaved and it was obvious that the rice has been left on the side for quite a while as the rice on top was alot darker than that at the bottom and was also really quite crispy it was also quite cold. My grandfather was also not keen on his steak. Another point i would like to add which im very sure is out of The Old Manor's control is that the app 'Sizzling Pubs' was really slow and didn't load any of the menus, we tried on multiple phones but were unable to order anything so we had to move indoors, my grandmother booked a table early morning on Monday indoors for today just incase however when we asked to move indoors they said that there was no booking under my grandmother's name which was quite confusing as they stuggle to understand technology.

My wife and I decided to have lunch here. This was our first visit to this pub/restaurant. The service was good. The food was lovely. Unfortunately the cleaning could have been a bit better. We sat at table number 16 and found food on the wall. I've no idea how long it had been there, but it looked very dry. It certainly wasn't put there today as we arrived soon after opening. That aside, a very pleasant lunch. Will be visiting again.

Four stars due to ok food when you don't want to cook. Call in fairly regularly for breakfast or meal on our way home to or from Sand Bay. I just feel the place could be much cleaner, tables and doors-/door jams. Seems cleaners clean loos but not the grubby doors. On my last visit was also disappointed to see two chefs pop out of the kitchen with nice clean shirts but filthy aprons 😖 Staff always helpful.

The Old Manor is a family friendly pub with restaurant that is very popular for locals and visitors to and from Sand Bay and Weston beach. The service is great, friendly and quick service whether eating indoors or out in the gardens, perfect for those Summer evenings. The food has always been great, it's not dining cuisine but tasty steaks and mixed grills to surf and turf along with a wide choice of menu. You can't go wrong for the price you pay. Overall a great value for your money.

After all it is a Sizzler... I think you have to take into account that there are issues with pub chains generally, they need to make money in a difficult market. We frequently visit the area and this pub is probably the best value for food. There appears to have been quite a few different managers, who on the whole have come across as grumpy bar-stewards... The longer serving staff members have in my experience been friendly and helpful enough. The food is standard pub fare... You pretty much get what you pay for, the promotions are driven by the pub chain. Through experience it is usually best to ask for the kids desserts as soon as they get their main, otherwise you have to wait the full time again! This is common in most pub chains - they should prioritise desserts but in practise they do not. The pub has an enclosed garden, but it would be nice for a small play area to keep the kids occupied whilst waiting. We know we can expect varying attitudes every time we visit, but I am not adverse to complain when I need to (to the right people - no point having a go at the staff!) but I hope I am quick to say thanks as well when the service is good.

This place has a great environment and the food is really nice had quite a few meals here and had something lovely everytime; the hygiene is of a good standard and I have never had a problem with the food. Only issue was that they stop serving food at 9pm, there is also entertainment such as BT sport a pool table and slot machines .

Really enjoyable atmosphere, good for a quite or a lively drink. Some really good food at a fair price! Sports are on frequently, although the big screen is a bit blurred, the normal TV is perfect quality. Staff are nice and friendly and keep it a nice family pub.

Decided to go to the manor for a meal with the wife, plus watch the rugby today. Had a average meal. But even tho the pub has all the 6 nations banners up was told the football was staying on. Then to over hear the bar staff say I surport Chelsea so it's staying on.. Why say you showing the rugby then don't. Last time I go here. For anything. Even tho it's my local. Not no more
