Lovely food and good portion sizes. Had a mix of starters and mains and all were very tasty. The spicy salad was VERY spicy, lamb Tajine was very sweet but delicious and the hummus has a fair bit of oil but is very authentic food. Service could have been a little more attentive/quicker (they brought the wrong water, we had to ask twice for the bill), bit in general, it was a really lovely evening and the staff were all friendly and smiley. You can bring your own alcohol and they don't charge a fee to open it but I'd recommend bringing a screw top or your own opener as their one could be used by other tables. Toilets didn't have a great smell but looked relatively clean. I didn't see a baby change.

Daarna was a real treat. The food was delicious, the service was quick and the price was reasonable. We ordered the lamb tagine, the arayes and the special mixed grill. The mixed grill is the dish I’d strongly recommend. The lamb in the tagine was deliciously soft however just bear in mind that this dish is a bit sweet as the tagine is cooked with raisins, prune and pear, so the gravy is sweet. The service in this restaurant was excellent thanks mainly to how well Muhammad (picture included) looked after us.

I've been waiting for quite a while to return. The food is so very tasty and well prepared. Daarna restuarant has a family and welcoming feel which makes you relax as soon as you walk in. Alcohol is not sold but you are welcome to bring your own with no corkage charge. We had a mixed grill, lamb tagine and lamb kafte, which were served with bowls of rice, and cous cous with golden sultanas. The lamb in the tagine just fell apart with the prunes adding a sweetness. The mixed grill was well prepared and the lamb cubes cooked to perfection. The highlight for me was the knafe, never thought pastry, melted cheese and light syrup could make such a fantastic desert 😍 if you want very tasty, simple foods, this is the place to go. There was three of us eating so around £24 each.

I came here a few days ago and tried the Gourmet for 2. The starters were really tasty and one of the best I have ever tried. However when we got to the mains it was a real let down. The Kebabs felt as if they were reheated and it was very dry. I left the restaurant with mixed feelings and a bit disappointed.

Brilliant experience from the moment we stepped in. We were greated with a warm welcome and taken to our table. The restaurant is beautifully decorated, the service was fantastic, the food was very fresh, high quality and very flavour some. The mixed grill was amazing and the lamb chunks were very juicy and tender. Probably one of the best middle eastern meals I've had in a while and we've just got back from Dubai so the bar was set pretty high. Give it a try, you wont be disappointed.

We have eaten here many times since they opened and the food is always divine . We re visited last night and wet warmly welcomed . Good to see it was very busy. We took our own wine as wine isn’t served here. We all had the cubed lamb which was served with rice, salad and flat bread. We also had sides of the delicious Taboulleh and finished of with Moroccan mint tea. Extremely enjoyed every minute and would highly recommend Daarna.

Always lovely, friendly and fast service and great for BYOB! Really love this place, they have great vegan options, the fattoush is WONDERFUL and the dips are out of this world. We organised at surprise birthday lunch at Daarna for my mum's 70th, and it couldn't have been better. The food was absolutely incredible - delicious and perfectly cooked - and the staff were very friendly and hospitable. Everyone commented how fantastic the lunch was, and we had some very fussy easters in the group. I can't recommend Daarna enough, and am already planning my next visit.

I went here with friends for a wonderful night out. The service is amazing, so friendly and considerate. The meal was outstanding, we had 5 starters to share, and then a main course each, plus 3 desserts for only £105 including service. Go for the lamb tagine, it is delicious. I only wished i lived in Woking so I could go there more often. The place is BYO, which is a bonus too! Than you Daarna for the lovely meal last night.

Excellent food and service, the atmosphere and decor is very laid back but still very stylish and professional. We ordered the Gourmet mixed grill for 2 and a morrocan tea. Everything was very well presented and tasted great (especially surprised by the homemade chilli sauce). We finished off with a morrocan mint tea to share which was served in nice little cups and a teapot. Overall we left comfortably full and satisfied, we will definitely be back!

This is a great find in Woking. The staff are attentive, friendly, welcoming and happy to help. The food was tasty and there's a wonderful variety including vegetarian options. I booked a table today for a birthday and I have to say that the service was impeccable. Everyone was so taken care of, food was such good quality and every waiter was welcominv, kind and really helped us enjoy the evening. Look nowhere else. I have never tasted such amazing food anywhere else in Woking. The baby chicken is so unique in taste, flavour and texture it comes HIGHLY recommended if you are a meat eater. Just had my first meal in the Daarna(lunch) and it was beautiful. I had the lamb tagine which was so succulent and the spices and sauce were nothing I’ve experienced before. Honest review from our dinning experience. We visited this restaurant on the 2nd of January, hopeful and expectant of a great experience and meal based on previous google reviews. Our visit was around 17:30 and the place was obviously not very busy due to the time of day and was lacking in ambiance. We were greeted and shown to our table by the waitress, who had very limited English, which is no issue for us but she didn’t make up for the lack of communication with service sadly. Positives: Decor is to a high standard. Seating extremely comfortable. Great outside space at front for shisha. Menu selection was great, not too many. Negatives: Food presentation. (Although no complaints over the quality / taste, touch expensive for what you get.) Service (Considering no one else to serve, could have been more attentive / communicative.) Paper napkins. (All the effort to make high end and use paper napkins!) Overall this place is well worth a visit, there are a few things above that I class as negatives, but to others are in no way an issue. So if anything, the above is constructive feedback for the owners, who have done a great job in creating a modern and pleasant dinning experience for all to try and enjoy.

Visited this amazing restaurant this evening with my friends... the food was amazing and the service was the best. Staff were very attentive and friendly.. would definitely recommend this restaurant. Due to the current situation was abit worried about eating out but the restaurant have taken great measures to keep the premises clean and keep the distance between guests. Visited for the first time post lockdown. Lots of sanitisation, disposable menus, staff wore masks and high hygiene standards throughout. Last week we had a lovely meal at Darnaa, amazing deco and food. I enjoyed particularly the hot mezzeh and fatoush salad. We ordered various main meals as there were four of us. I ordered the grilled baby chicken dish which was very fresh, tasty and juicy. Also ordered the fresh lemon and mint juice. We will definitely return. I highly recommend this restaurant, fabulous food for the price as well.

We had a large group and they catered amazingly with a more then filling 3 course set menu consisting of ; Cold & Hot Mezza Mixed grille and Selection of Tagine's Baklava I recommend any of the mezze and also the lamb and current tagine, the flavours were amazing. Please note this is a BYOB destination which meant cheap great drinks because Morrison's was just round the corner and the wine was a free of charge corkage. I also enjoyed a shisha & tea after and was very pleased with the quality. Would recommend to anyone.

As soon as you walk in, you know this is going to be an amazing restaurant. Wonderful atmosphere, cosy, spacious and comfortable seating. I don't usually order lamb, as it's often fatty and grizzly but guessed I would be safe here. True enough, the lamb tagine was tender and delicious and the meat melted away - gorgeous. We had some cold and hot mezzes which were also superb. Even the lentil soup was obviously home made and special. The rose pudding with pistachios was I imagine typically Moroccan and delicious. The service was attentive yet discrete and relaxed, even though they were very busy. The décor and atmosphere genuinely made us feel that we were in Morocco. The Moroccan tea we had with the meal and the Turkish coffee we had at the end (never had before and I can highly recommend) complemented the meal. We were treated so well that when we left, we felt like we had been for a meal at a friend's house. Superb!

Never had morrocan dish before, tried the lamb tagine and it was delicious. The lamb was cooked perfectly and melting in the mouth. The couscous on the side was lovely. Different flavours made up the dish and it was an enjoyable experience. Will be going again:).
