Ok curries, didn’t feel they were very authentic. Good garlic naan, service a little slow even though we were only 2 at the time of ordering in the restaurant. Curries very flat in taste

We love the meals from here. It is so tasty, naan is so big and very soft with plenty of tast and the chicken tikka bhriani has plenty of flavor...we've eaten in only once and very pleased with the whole experience.

I realised I've ordered more takeaways from Balaka than anywhere else around Woking. They're not just good, they're consistently good. Fantastic range of curries with distinct flavours and ingredients, all absolutely on point. I have multiple "favourites", especially amongst the house specials. Be prepared to wait - delivery is usually advertised at 55 minutes - it's worth it.

Went here yesterday for a takeaway and received a lovely welcome. I ordered King Prawn Biriani and Chicken Dhansak. They were both delicious ! There were plenty of succulent king prawns in the biriani and the sauce in the Dhansak was lovely and authentic. I would highly recommend and will definitely visit again soon.

I've probably eaten in every curry house within ten miles of the Balaka. the food here is by far the tastiest and most varied. the Chicken naga is wonderful . The flavours are just so much better than anywhere else in the vicinity. Highly recommended.

Balaka is a moderately priced (not cheap) Indian takeaway in Horsell that I have been ordering takeaway from for about two years. The curry and the food itself is usually fantastic. I stick to this place as I know that they do make quality, tasty curry that I really enjoy and have come back to time and time again. The reason I am not rating them 5 stars is because we have had a few issues in the past - e.g items missed from orders and problems with the 'buffet' (see another review) when going there to eat. The food also takes a while to arrive, usually 50minutes or so and can be on the cold side. It usually isn't an issue but they do have improvements to make to their service.

Absolutely the best Asian food around for many miles. Ive eaten in literally hundreds of Asian restaurants and This one stands out as one of the very best. The service is excellent and the food simply first class. One of the few places that serves 'King' Cobra too. I like it so much I probably eat in twice a week and have a take-away at least one other night a week.

Went here for a sit down meal and found the curry to be on the high side of good. Cool and disinterested customer service however but the basics - drinks service - was acceptable. Impressed by the food so ordered a takeaway a week or so later and it was very disappointing. The jar/paste taste of the Vindaloo was too apparent and the Dhansak was bland.

Best compared to a Graeme Hick innings- you know what you are going to get - an average but enjoyable experience. Expectations are set at the outset- whilst potentially it could be great deep down you know it will be average -playing a rash shot on 35 to a short ball. But enough about Zimbabwe's second best ever cricketer and back to balaka - the best curry in Horsell - the 5 stars of average

Balaka is by far the best Indian takeaway I have ever had the privilege of ordering from. We have ordered from here many times and eaten a lot of the dieaten on the menu, but I have to say that that chicken tikka masala and the sag aloo are absolutely incredible. Keep up the good work guys!

Some of the staff there are lovely, but there's an older guy who serves who is miserable. It dampened the night a bit. He barely spoke a word, was terrible at remembering what we asked for, and faffed around with our plates/drinks/food/dips so they all came sporadically. We got our poppadoms about 5 minutes before the dip, not difficult to bring both out together...
