Great menu of tasty food. I had a meat dish, my friend had a smoked tofu dish - both were delicious. The mescal tasting board was a great alternative to dessert. Very friendly and knowledgeable staff. Recommended.

Saved the day by getting us a last minute table tonight! Amazing food, seriously the nachos are insane. So tasty, drinks superb. Customer service was amazing, lady who booked us in and gave us drinks and then the young guy who served our food was fab! So friendly and nice. Easily one of the best restaurants in Worcester. First time eating in and absolutely did not disappoint! After pondering the large menu with great advice from the staff, I went for the marinated chicken fajitas. Served on a sizzling skillet, I could hear it coming from the kitchen before it hit my table, smashing stuff. Portions sizes are mega, well priced, great atmosphere and quirky mexican decor. Great experience, one of Worcester's hidden gems. Keep at it dudes 🤟.

Friendly helpful staff and service in a well present Mexican style restaurant. Food was excellently present especially my wife’s ‘sunshine’ enchilada!😁 the option to add extra levels of chilli heat to my chimi-changa (habanero) hit the spot!🤯 The margaritas were fantastic too. Loved it. Me and my mate Megan went here on Saturday just gone 27.4.19 Well presented meals very tasty! Ok. I used to come here and leave bursting at the seams, portion size much smaller so a few years ago I would have said 4 or 5 stars. Wont rush back. The food is nice with a large selection of beer. Just small portions.

We dropped on this place on the Saturday of the Christmas market for a bite and drink to escape the crowd! So glad we did, the staff were very attentive, food was great and we loved the laid back ambiance. They have a cellar below for additional dining. We had two lovely Burrito meals and a bottle of wine. Couldn’t fault. They are obviously doing something right judging by the reviews. When back in Worcester we’ll be sure to drop by ! Great Service from start to finish. We arrived shortly after opening time at lunch and were quickly greeted and seated. The food was great and the service was really good too! We'd both recommend this place for a good meal at a decent price. Very nice non-alcoholic beer which I've not had before.

Best Mexican food in Worcester. Massive portions. If you've never (really) tried tequila or mezcal, go for the tasting selection of three different types. Blanco, Resposado, Anejo. Slightly different flavours based on aging.

Great little place. Cheaters has a cosy feel to it but not cramped. There were 4 in my party and we had plenty of room. Staff were friendly, happy and smiling. The menu was good with plenty of options for gluten free, vegetarian meals etc. I had the salmon with prawns, the fish was cooked well and the seasoning was tasty. All in all a great dish. The other 3 in the party said how tasty their food was too. The prices are reasonable for the food quality and quantity. We were the last people in the restuarant but we're not rushed out and didn't ever feel rushes to leave or make a order. I'd definitely recommend this place and I'll be going again.

I had 3 dishes from the tapas menu King prawns were definitely not as described. We’re more like value prawns. Tough and chewy. Next dish was shredded chicken , with strips of tortilla which tasted like french fries, and had no flavour ie; the coriander which was described. Food was mediocre, service was ok. Overpriced and would not rush to go back I did not complain, as I was in good company, so just paid up and left . In hindsight I should of mentioned that I was not satisfied with the food

Nice staff and we found a table easily and I had the burrito which came with nice fillings and beer at a reasonable price however I just wonder if the food prices here are a little above what you may expect but you will get good food I just not sure that the price quite matches the food at 15 for a burrito but that is your choice / it's in a nice back street and I did enjoy my food

Never had a bad meal here. They are by far the best nachos around, and their selection of chillis are amazing. Great veggie and vegan options and they do a mean margarita as well. For Mexican in Worcester is has be Chester’s. Love the atmosphere of the downstairs dining area too. Food is always fresh and tastes homemade. What a great meal and so reasonably priced. Comfort food at its best, friendly staff and great atmosphere - it's going to be a regular haunt from now on!

First time trying a Chesters, I've only ever heard good things about it but I'm not a fan of spicy food so didn't think it would be for me. I was wrong! I had the veg and hallumi fajitas which were full of flavour without being too hot to eat. My partner struggles to find decent vegan food but there was plenty on this menu and he thoroughly enjoyed his nachos. I think this might be our new go to place! The only thing I'd love to see is gluten free wraps. Ps I think guacamole is gross but clearly I've been eating the wrong stuff because it turns out it's delicious from Chesters.

They made a small mistake with our food that we didn't even notice until they pointed it out and they knocked the drinks off the bill! We weren't going to complain yet they made amends anyhow. Have been here several times and the service is always good and staff are friendly. It is cafe style but nevertheless the surroundings are relaxed and calm. The food is tasty and well prepared at very reasonable prices with plenty of choice on the menu. Chesters never disappoint. The quality is superb, especially when considering the price. There is no better chilli in Worcester, completely blowing the competition out of the water in any measurable way. The service is always sublime and you're greeted by wide smiles. Nachos as a starter was lovely, and we had a lady serve us to begin with who was also lovely. However when the mains arrived (we both had burritos) there where two small ones rather than a larger one and nether of them had rice or cheese even though we had been told that they did have rice and cheese in. In fact my burrito was made of nearly only black beans. When I got to the second small burrito it wasn’t even what I had ordered but what my partner had ordered... I’m not sure if they got mixed up in the kitchen? I don’t like to complain but I can’t help but say we where a little disappointed after we had the mains. The gentleman that took our food didn’t ask if we enjoyed our meal or if everything was okay - nor did he offer a desert menu. To end on a positive I really liked the decor and decorations.

Such a vast menu, everything is absolutely delicious. They also have loads of international beers that you don't even get in the local bars. Most of the tables are underground - really cool vibe with nice decor and naked brickwork.

I wanted to have a pre-dinner drink in the bar before going to my table as I wanted to take a phone call from overseas and relax before eating. I told the staff this and they said it was ok. My cocktail was brought to me and then on three occasions in quick succession I was asked if I wanted to go to my table. I took my call and on the fourth occasion I was asked, having barely started my drink, I agreed because I was fed up of being asked despite making my position clear. The food is good so would go back and I like the atmosphere but the staff need to chill a little. I could have understood if more if it was Friday or Saturday night but it wasn't it was a Monday and quite early.

I have been a fan of Chester’s for over twelve years, I enjoy the varied selection of traditional meaty Tex-Mex through to Vegan Mexican choices in the menu. Chester’s is better than the franchises ASK / Nandos / Pizza Express, etc. (you know the sort) and they are priced roughly in the same area. Key Points: • I love eating in the reception / bar area popping in for a quick snack and a Cerveza. • One thing you can be sure of is portion sizes, you won’t leave hungry • Chester’s has an energetic atmosphere, the staff are fun and provide a level of service that is appropriate to for the relaxed style of restaurant that it is. • Gents toilet could be improved; I would not sit at a table near to the toilets (I would leave if no other choice was available). • Certain areas in the restaurant are better than others this applies to cellar and street level dining , don’t be afraid to ask for a different table - you are paying for it.
