Best fish and chips I've had in ages and what a great treat to be actually be able to dine in rather than have to take away. Fabulous food and fabulous service. Well done Mother Hubbards you have completely nailed a new experience to Worcester

Great sit down Fish and chips, freshly cooked and delivered to the table. I had the special fish which is slightly bigger than standard, a good portion to be fair and chip’s not greasy they were piping hot. Combination meals included a drink which you help yourself from the fridge.

Been meaning to pop in to try Mother Hubbards for few weeks. I think it’s value for money this was 16 quid & 2 of us could not even eat 1/2 of it lol Eyes bigger than my belly. This would feed 3 to 4 of you. Fish was really nice chips nice we even had a spicy curry sauce which I highly recommended. We eat in nice window seat. Was really nice & good value. Few people say try here try there most chip shops now the prices are all expensive.. 5 stars from me was really nice meal 👌👏

It's not cheap but is genuinely much better food. The chips are long and dry, not par-cooked and oily like most chip shops. Fish was very generous and the spicy fish was meaty, substantial and meant business! I'll easily get a second meal out of the leftovers. Best fish and chips I've had in years, but yes you pay for it. The restaurant itself is pleasantly modern, with a very decent waiting area, nice seating, loads of parking outside and the staff were good. Only losing a star because there were no menus anywhere until you get to the ordering counter.

I just had a chicken burger there but before I had fish and chips too. I personally prefer haddock than cod, the way they are making it is lovely. Crispy outside but nice and soft inside. The staff is extremely helpful, and I only waited few minutes for my order. In other chip shop I have to wait 20-30 mins outside even if it is raining. There is no issue with the music in the shop. Nice and chilled place. Definitely coming back. 5*

Normally have cod, but the haddock used at Mother Hubbard’ was fresh and meaty and definitely one of the best I’ve ever had. I chose the classic fish and chips and it came out hot and in lovely packaging. No sign of soggy batter!! The location is great, inside was clean and staff were friendly. Thank you for a great meal, we really enjoyed ourselves!

Brilliant fish and chips! Really great service we went in to get a large takeaway order for 6 of us. Packaged really well and really fast service! Amazing choice of drinks, good value meal deal. Had haddock and chips last night, first time ever at this place. If this was anything to go by, watch out the rest of the fish and chip shops in Worcester. One of the best fish and chips I’ve had since moving to Worcester from Plymouth/Cornwall years ago. Also while we were there, someone had a small complaint about their meal (wrong order I think )and I’ve never seen a manager bend over backwards so much to be of assistance. Well done that manager and well done the owners of Hubbards ,keep it up.

Portions are huge and the place is clean with efficient service. I was excited before going with the glowing reviews but the fish and chips we had were average. The fish a touch watery (batter good) and chips were a bit tasteless. It's okay but there are better places to eat out in Worcester, for a bit less money.

Tables needing a wipe, floor needing a sweep, staff lacking in customer service skills and a 15 minute wait for fish and chips.... But, OMG they were by far and away the best fish and chips I've had in years. Better than Hooked by miles and cheaper. Loved it so much, went back a second time and food was outstanding, plus place was clean and tidy and staff were lovely!

The restaurant itself was really clean, staff were friendly and there was plenty of choice with reasonable prices - there's also a great waiting area whilst food is being cooked for takeaway. Taste-wise, the fish and chips were good - but unfortunately the food left a horrible film in our mouths, it really put us off eating and we left half of our meals because it was so unpleasant. I haven't had this with other fish and chip places in the area - I don't think we'll be back for that reason.

Fish here is the best you will find! Thick, tender fish in super crunchy batter. Staff are kind and helpful... turning music down for us as Mum's hearing Aid would have struggled. The mushy peas have great taste, colour and texture. Chips are always well cooked and not greasy. I love being able to buy Tartare Sauce!

Great place with a good atmosphere. Nice modern place with lots of parking outside. The food was really good, we all enjoyed it and it was pretty reasonably priced. And the large fish was big, good for sharing. Great selection of drinks to choose from. Everything was clean including the toilets.

Best chips ever, very fresh and well cooked. Fish was also loverly and fresh, The only thing i found to be an issue was the batter on the fish, this was very soggy with no crunch or texture. This may have been due to the steam from the chips in the box it was served with, maybe serve separately in a box of its own for delivery's. Just a thought

Visiting the Area and googled fish an chips Mother Hubbards came up so my Husband and I gave it a try, the young girl that served us was very polite, took our order and as we decided to sit in she said they would bring it to us. The place was lovely and clean, didn't smell of grease like some places do. We were not dissapointed the fish was a really good portion, even the fish bites. The batter was lovely and crispy not soggy that you get from some places. We are Geordies from the North East so we know our fish n chips. Will definitely visit again when we come back to the Area.

Weirdly firm chips and a general atmosphere of chaos and despair, but the fish are the size of hot water bottles. If you like being served deep-fried basking sharks by children, this is the place for you. Although, if you don't want to support a giant fish and chip megacorp that's sprawling across the country like a virus, Worcester has lots of smaller fish and chip businesses that could use your support. Do what I do - buy an extra cod and slip it into the canal to help restore the nation's wild cod population.

We swapped our fish and chip shop for Mothers Hubbard just to see how it will turn out.. I always have grilled fish with salad ( don't eat chips) Tonight salad was disgusting 😒 like someone put soap it to it ( it never happened before)or someone was mixing it with creamed hands.. I rang them and manager was too busy to talk to me.. I left my name and was promised next time I will get free chips with my order .... I think for me and other 3 member of my family it's time to go back to Newtown fish and chips .. it's bit further down but I have never had issues with salads there.

It's OK nothing special... A bit expensive for what it is.. Big boxes for small items inside.. Newtown fryer is much cheaper IMO.. But insha'Allah will try again and hopefully will be a better experience
