Reviews of CrabShack

Gorgeous setting overlooking the sea and those who know, know. Some of the best seafood I’ve ever had. Pil pil prawns & fish tacos were out of this world, and the loaded fries with crab just ‘worked’. We ate with another family, both with two kids (who were made a real fuss of) and everyone left full and happy.

Such a fabulous evening at CrabShack! This place had been recommended to us by many different people, and it did not disappoint. It felt like we were on holiday. The host was very welcoming, and whilst our table wasn’t quite ready (it was a busy Saturday evening), she sat us on a table outside whilst we waited, and took drink orders so we could enjoy a cocktail by the sea. We sat inside to order and enjoy food.
They had a special cocktail on - a ‘Preserved lemon sour’ (£10) with home-preserved lemons, lemon thyme, limoncello, and gin, which was delicious. The food was excellent - we shared a fish tacos main for starters (fresh, flavoursome, piquant), and then my partner had dressed crab to follow, and I had another item from the specials board - pan roasted skate wing with harissa butter, samphire and skinny fries (£23.50). It was faultless and thoroughly enjoyable. I also had a glass of a Grenache Blanc wine, which was extraordinary and matched really well with the skate wing and harissa - it was great to see some unusual wines by the glass.

We went here for dinner a couple of days ago and had a fantastic dinner. The place was neat and tidy and the staff member in attendance was so helpful and very nice to us. The food was unbelievably delicious. Portions are big and we loved all of it. Highly recommend a visit.

I'm by no means a seafood connoisseur, but this was one of the best, if not the best seafood we've ever had. It was a perfect sunny day and we had a table outside which was great for people watching. We didn't expect food this good and it blew us away. Highly recommended!

Nice rustic shack restaurant offering an intriguing menu with daily specials, very good food in sufficient portions, perfectly cooked. Great location straight on the beach with parking nearby, friendly and welcoming staff, brilliant team.

Absolutely fabulous. Just popped in for a prawn cocktail and a cocktail, but wow. One of the best prawn cocktails I have had the pleasure to taste and a sublime Expresso Martini. Very attentive lovely staff

What a super surprise to find such good quality seafood here. I was expecting something akin to the Crab Shack featured in ‘My Name Is Earl’, but you can tell this is a very committed outfit. Good quality fresh seafood, prepared with care and presented nicely. Service was friendly and professional. A quirky little spot that should be treasured.

We had a lovely dinner here! Excellent seafood, presented with care, and served by very friendly staff. Truly a gem, worth visiting Worthing just to eat here and enjoy the lovely seaside atmosphere. Our toddler enjoyed it so much, the photo speaks for itself!

Amazing food .We hadn't been in 5 years and finally got back to the shack and it was even better then before .
We travelled an hour and a half to eat at the Crabshack and when food is that good I don't mind the drive..
Add it to that food bucket list you have and put it at the top

Best seafood we have for a long while. Fish is super fresh. Prawns are really sweet. Crabs are yummy. Even the bread and fries are extremely tasty. Can't help licking one's fingers. Excellent service and friendly staff. Kids love the splashing play area right outside.
