It's basically a Nando's. Food options are good, you can have anything from grilled chicken, burgers to steak. Food was cooked nicely although my chicken could've been a little more juicer in some parts. Chips were a nice variety and the coleslaw tasted decent, had a nice creamy flavour to it. The salad was amazing, had a gentle dressing to it. Staff are friendly and accommodating to your needs. Desert options could be improved though! However if you're in Worthing, I'd differently recommend this as an option.

This was my first visit here after reading good reviews. We had a late lunch on a Saturday. Lovely menu and good portions. The food was really tasty and couldn’t fault a thing! Super friendly with chilled lounge music in the background. Literally located at the back of the Guildbourne centre behind the car park….will visit again

I'm giving it 3 stars because the first time I came here it was very nice food. How ever I came back again and had the a huge burger, the chicken in it was dry it was like chewing on cardboard. The steak inside my burger was terrible and definitely wasn't beef steak the texture and the taste was so off I couldn't eat it. I won't be going back a 3rd time.

I would happily say this was one of the best places I've been too. Me and my girlfriend were so excited for this place and it was amazing the people were really nice especially one man who always made sure we were good with everything. The food was delicious getting burgers wings nachos cheesecake and brownies. I have to say we both agree that the deserts were some of the best we have ever had and it was just an amazing place. My favourite thing about it all is the drinks there mocktails are perfect for hot days. Was amazing!!!!

We regularly visit Fernando's and take with us any friends or family who visit the area. An all round great place to eat, chat and just relax. The food is beautiful and has so many options on the menu. And the chefs are always willing to adapt to your needs. There is always a beautiful welcome for you and they never forget a face. Absolutely fantastic and great food experience from start to finish. Friendly and welcoming staff as well as attentive making sure everything is good even though it was busy they seemed to make sure they had the time to make sure. Tonight I visited this restaurant with my family a group of 13 for my Mums Birthday The service and food was 1st class and standards are high. Great laughter and very chatty with the kids which was nice to see. New visit - 27/05/22: Very different experience to when I visited a few years ago. Straight from entering, customer service was excellent; very friendly staff. I ordered the t-bone steak with chips and salad. All of the main meals seem to come with two sides which is pretty good value. I was a bit wary in ordering the steak, it's a fair bit of money and I hadn't experienced Fernando's steaks before. But when it arrived, straight off the bat, it looked amazing. I requested it medium rare and that's what I got. The steak was juciy and full of flavour. The sides were fine and complimented the steak well as did the peppercorn sauce. Would definitely order a steak again from Fernando's; great service, great food! Original: Good value food. I ordered the 10 chicken wings and two sides. The chicken was tasty and succulent though the two sides were not particularly great. I opted for the Fernando rice and the chips, the rice was off, tasted like I was eating cigarettes and the chips were limp and soggy. It's also quite chilly in there, bring a coat!

I enjoyed this take on spicy chicken. Many people are comparing to Nandos, but I'd argue that it's quite different in numerous aspects - from the taste to the atmosphere. It's much more of a relaxed eating environment compared to Nandos which, in my experience, can feel a bit "fast". The portion sizes were just... wow. I ordered 1/4 chicken with 2 sides, and it seemed much more like 1/2 chicken when the food arrived! Also took a chance and ordered a cocktail, which is not something I'd normally do in a restaurant, let alone a Nandos. It turned out to be a good choice! Waitress was friendly and attentive. Overall, I would recommend.

Staff nice. Venue is relaxing and nice. Portions are exact large as they should be for an afternoon relaxing meal on a day out, but four stars just because food taste plain by default. You nedled to add lots of species yourself. There is no inbetween plain and spicy. Only two options. Even garlic mushrooms are not garlic. But it is definitely a nice place yo stop and have a relaxing afternoon meal

Really lovely meal for all our family where we all enjoyed the meal we had. My husband and I had yummy peri peri half chicken, which was delicious, older daughter had peri peri wings and youngest daughter a gourmet burger from kids menu. The mocktails were really nice. Great calm atmosphere and polite friendly staff. Reminded us of Nando's, but without the hectic stressful feeling. We will definitely come back.

The burgers are good. Chips were the most deadest substance my mouth had experienced- cooked in old oil and more like thick crisps. What is a chicken shop with chips in the grave? No joke just sad. Waiters are kind but act like headless chickens at times. Guy at the bar had a customer complaining over a hot ‘cold drink’ and mentioned it’s meant to be like that. Are you serious. Warm Coke is a no no. I’d come back for the burgers, my respect for the burger chef- good job.

Great place for lunch or dinner with family or friends. They have a few booths or large tables for big groups. Came for a late Saturday lunch and ordered the Worthing burger with coleslaw and chips. I would have give Fernando's five stars had it not been a small cockup with the order. Let start with the positives. 1) the size of the portion's 2 of our group ordered baguettes. These were filled to the brim. They also ordered fries and coleslaw. They both came with coleslaw and salad. No sign of the fries. To be frank the ladies were quite happy due to the size and the meat quantity. 2) once again the size was the great thing as I and my niece both had 1/2 chicken with corn and wedges. The chicken was not one of those anorexic ones that you get at the place that starts with N but it was plump and large, tasty with the choice of the various spice heats that were on offer. I would recommend this place especially at lunch time as each of these meals was under £7.00 each. Excellent value for money

It was just lots of satisfied happy faces. Portion sizes are on the larger side. So actually very good value. Didn't make it to desert menu. So can't comment on that. Menu simple but brilliant. This is what we had. Hallomi starter garlic mushrooms starter and houmus starter, garlic bread starter excellent. Steak burger main, chilli wrap main, spaghetti Bolognese main, spicy lamb burger, 8oz burger all exceptional, then a Giant burger which had fillet steak butterfly chicken and spicy lamb burger not for the faint hearted! Staff were great and very well organised, a bit like Goodfellas where there's four people bringing your meals and clearing away after fast and efficient They have a laminated allergen list upon request with clearly marked options for dairy, gluten, nuts etc., however I was a little startled to see the 'Fernando rice' marked as gluten free on the laminated list yet stated as containing wheat on the mainstream menu One of our party had the Fernando rice and it was cus cus which clearly isn't gluten free! Never mind, the manager offered me a known gluten free option which he supervised himself and was perfectly fine with no after effects for me so I'd recommend with caution Again, well organised despite it being busy
