Fish seems to be cooked fresh to order. Very tasty and fish goujons are the biggest I’ve seen in any chippy! Chips were nice too, not too oily but shame we weren’t asked if we wanted salt and vinegar which made them very bland. Would recommend taking a look at their box meals as I only saw this after I ordered. Overall very good, lovely shop front with outdoor seating too.

Seems the best place for fish and chips. Freshly prepared in house, deliciously served and very clean. Strongly recommended. Outside seating area is very convenient place.

Very tasty fresh cod fish and chips. It was prepared in front of me during a few minutes. The crisp look clean and the chips too. No old dirty oil. Well done folks... So far the best fish & chips. And... a very clean place, with a terrace in front and nice smiling people. Spot on.👌

Always gey a fish and chips when getting a take away and I always chose Fillets fish and chip. I've always had great tasting food from here,always hot and tasty. The staff are very polite and friendly and helpful I had ordered the wrong item when I called them I had no hassle changing it over. My year old son loves going in to say hi just so friendly. Would recommend which I have done to many now. Great job guys 👌🏼

Just up the road from my home, ignored it assuming it would be the normal average tat served locally. Turned out it was the best piece of fish I've had from any chip shop for 15 years. Wonderful tasty food. Congrats to the owners

Thought I would treat my mum to fish and chips tonight.I had a delivery from Fillets of fish which came bang on time. I can highly recommend this place. It came piping hot the fish was beautiful and white flesh and had a beautiful thin crispy batter that wasn't all doughy like some batter can be.I will certainly be ordering from them again.

Ordered from here yesterday and am already looking forward to next time. Had a cod and a plaice and both were perfectly battered. Crispy and delicious, but not overly greasy. The chips came in generous portions and delivery was also speedy. Top marks.

Had two large chips and two jumbo sausage rolls and a fish goujon to try via delivery and it was as perfect as the previous three times that I have used this place. It tastes like fish and chips used to taste in this country. The chips were non greasy. They were not earthy. They were soft inside. The batter is light and does not taste of an old fryer. The delivery to Broadwater Green arrived hot via the Just Eat service and only cost about three quid more than collecting. The place is clean and the owner seems to take pride in a tidy shop. To get knives and forks with extra vinegar and a hand wipe when you collect is a bonus as usually that touch in other places is to make up for awful food. Not here… a hand wipe? Why have no other chip shops ever done this that I have been to? Makes perfect sense! The times I have wanted to wipe my hands after chips.

Bloody lovely! Always quick and PIPING hot!! Prices are fair, portions are perfect - please don’t change anything! Inc the cute plastic cutlery, hand wipes, with salt and vinegar sachets which are a cute touch. Amazing as always, thank you and sure we’ll be back soon!
