First time for me here, so i was pleasantly surprised. A pretty looking pub. A massive beer garden. With benches. Banging food, which was excellent. And a great hospitality. Will come again 😊

We had fish & chips , plus lamb burger with goats cheese and red onion marmalade. Both were nice sized portions and tasty .
Reasonable priced menu .
The garden area had plenty of tables , some on concrete and some on grass . There is a children's play area with lots of grass to run about on .

We are down here on holiday and decided to go here on our last night. Excellent choice, as the food was amazing. Large portions at decent prices, what more could you ask for. I had the braised steak which was melt in the mouth, my wife had the ploughman's which was huge and my son had the burger which was beautiful. Good selection of desserts and also a good selection of local beers. We took our dog which was no trouble and the staff seated us accordingly. It also has a little playground for young kids which was in good use.
All in all a fantastic pub and we intend to re visit when down again next year.

Lovely pub, restaurant and venue. Returned this weekend as we had hired the marquee for an event. The staff were amazing and could not have been more helpful. Nothing was too much trouble and everyone had a great time. They seemed to have a real interest in every event they put on and a care to make sure things ran smoothly. The marquee is a great place to have any event and we will definitely return to eat at the pub as well. Guest were very surprised to find this great venue and I am sure there will be more business for the pub from our guests. Hope to see all the team again very soon. Alexis and family.

One of the best pubs in Sussex. Really good quality food as well as easy access to the countryside. Would recommend that you call ahead first to check for availability if you want to eat. But if you just want a pint and a base to go out for a walk then do pop in. Great place to take your family and can’t recommend enough. Xx

Visited on a Monday lunchtime and although it was quite busy we were lucky to get a table for 2 without a reservation. Quick, friendly table service With some fantastic food - salt and pepper squid was some of the best we've ever had. They have a huge outdoor eating area as well as a childrens playground, plenty of indoor seating and ample parking spaces. Would highly recommend.

Started and finished a lovely walk on Angmering Estate from The Fox. At the end of our walk we decided to have lunch there. The garden is huge and great for families. The menu is also extensive and caters for everyone. We didn't have children with us but I had a quick look at the kids menu and it was the best I've seen for choice. I had a ploughman's with Brie. The plate was heaving with an amazing salad including grapes and apple and about half a long baguette with loads of butter packs and a big lump of Brie. It was delicious but I couldn't eat it all. My husband had a roast beef sandwich which also came with salad. The roast beef was cooked to perfection.
Service was good and very friendly staff.
Would totally recommend The Fox to anyone if any age.

We have only had the chance to visit once since the fantastic new owners took over. Such a warm and friendly welcome. Lovely pub & restaurant with unmatched outside space and what looks like exciting plans ahead. Well worth a visit if you've booked ahead. We will be back soon.
