Being a Kiwi this was my first fish and chips experience in the UK and what an experience it was. The lunchtime deal was reasonably priced, the fish was crisp and flavourful, the chips were a mix of crispy and greasy (which I like) and the gravy almost had me in heaven. Loved it, thanks guys and I'll be back!

Good fish and chip shop with friendly staff. If it’s busy, they give you a beeper which notifies you when your food is ready which I thought was helpful. The fish is always good quality and fresh. Prices are affordable too.

Went for the first time last night as it was recommended by work colleagues...I'm new to the area. I felt like there was a decent selection, everything was fresh, decent price, quick service and most importantly to me when I'm choosing a regular, everyone was really friendly. Service with a smile gets a massive thumbs up from me. It was clear it was popular with others too, although not overcrowded.

It is a fish and chips shop. Selling chips with a lot of things. Chicken, Burgers, Sausages, Scampi, Beans, Mushy Peas, Curry, Gravy. You can phone your order in or go to the shop and order. For taking away to eat. All so some pies of different fillings. CHECK OPENING TIMES AS THEY VARY.

This young man fries properly. Leaves it 3 minutes longer so not soggy. Great. And not expensive. Love the curry sauce 😋

Lovely battered sausages and chips just a shame we had to wait so long for them. If there hadn't been any ready and hence cooked to order I would have minded but there were several on view ready so waiting ovet 15 mins not really acceptable. They were delicious though but think they may lose business from others not prepared to wait as the shop was full of other customers also having to wait for their orders too.

Hallelujah, the lovely local Fish n chippie. The fish delicate and delicious, the batter is crispy golden with a signature crunch. Chips only just fried as walk in the door. The smell inviting and invigorating lures you to a paradise of flavour heaven. Come see for yourself and sample Ambrosia at the source, I'm sure you'll love it as much as I do.

Initially it appeared that the premises were very clean with good Covid-19 social distancing measures in place and signage stating that only two customers permitted inside at any one time. Unfortunately things went downhill after that when a female customer turned up whilst two customers were already in the shop and allowed her two unruly children to climb all over the inside of the shop frontage. Not only was she not wearing a mask she clearly ignored the two in the premises rule too. The woman did nothing to supervise her unruly children and just left them to climb on the seating area of the glass shop frontage. The staff behind the counter did nothing to address the fact that she had breached the shops rules. It was very disappointing to be honest and needs addressing to ensure that it doesn't happen again. We also noticed people hovering near the front door making it difficult for people entering and exiting the premises to social distance from them. Three stars awarded due to this. Management please take note.
