What a beautiful place and surrounding, the food was lovely, I had duck followed by something a little different for me, I had a burger which was succulent and accompanied by homemade coleslaw and thin cut chips. My wife had prawns to …

Cosy club has an amazing atmosphere, very friendly and helpful service personnel and very tasty food. For me as a coeliac it's always hard to find nice glutenfree food, so it was like paradise to me. So delicious, would always go there again for breakfast!!

The staff were absolutely amazing and when I asked about gluten free were so accomodating I had a menu that had options in every category which was fantastic. The quality of the food was amazing and all my dishes came with a gluten free indicator. I cannot fault this place it was an absolute pleasure to have a meal here and I can honestly say I would easily go back. It's not often you find something that has it all but I can happily say the cosy club has it.

Lovely staff, friendly, helpful & professional. Dog friendly, worth booking as busy. Great food & drink. We had the chicken burger which is lovely, very big but so tasty! Lovely decor also. Highly recommend.

We had fun cocktail making on a hen do. We had some lovely tasty food to go with them, it would have been great if the barman had been a bit more excepting of the girls not taking it serious. Luckily there was 2 barstaff and the other one helped to make it fun. I would give more stars of the barstaff hadn't been so miserable

Cosy Club is great.
We tried to get lunch the day before but there were no tables, so we tried the next day for breakfast.
I had the Boston Brunch, which was perfect! My boyfriend had a bacon roll, which he said was yummy!
The service was wonderful and the place itself is pretty cool, so quirky! Reasonably priced too.
My only gripe would be the noisy people at the table next to us who felt the need to stand right next to our table and talk really loudly! But that obviously had nothing to do with the venue!

Nice place, loved the style! Excellent service and lovely food overall. Panko breaded halloumi fries to start,so good we ordered another portion! The men had ribeye, one a little tough but good,us ladies had buttermilk chicken, very nice,if a little overdone in places but great spice flavour.

We came here for breakfast on our first morning in York, a quiet Tuesday morning, and oh my does the decor take your breath away! Set in an old cinema, we were sat downstairs towards the back in the navy blue area (very much my aesthetic) and the breakfast was really good. My wife had the pancakes with bacon and I had a mix of sausages, bacon, hash browns and toast. We also had cocktails for breakfast because we were on holiday why not, and they were delicious. We liked it so much that morning we booked to come for an evening meal later in the week. Much more lovely on a Thursday evening, we were sat about halfway, between the navy blue area and the grande red bit which is a bit more open, and it was still gorgeous. I eyed up one of the special burgers, the one with chicken in it but I can't see what it was called now, golden something, but it was amazing, my wife had the pork belly, and of course many more cocktails were had. Its a shame that there isn't a Cosy Club near us because I feel like we'd be regulars.
