A very pleasant experience, similar to other Cote restaurants across the country. York staff were very friendly and accommodating. Delicious food, quickly served. Nice atmosphere.

The French Breakfast was absolutely amazing!! Best black pudding I've ever had, the staff were outstanding and so friendly .We didn't have a booking but they managed to accommodate me and my friend, definitely worth a visit!!

We stopped in for dessert as we had already eaten lunch. Praline crepe and Expreso Martini crepe. Wife had a dessert wine and I had coffee. They forgot our order but when they discovered it they compensated us with a second wine and coffee. Pretty cush place to visit.

Fantastic! Having eaten at Norwich and Bournemouth restaurants York has not disappointed the food was excellent the staff wonderful. Can not wait to go back. Really recommend this place. Special thanks to all the wonderful staff especially MALWINA for making us feel welcome.

A lovely restaurant. This french restaurant it very nice place to eat with a lovely atmosphere. They were very accommodating for a party of 8. The quality of food could not be faulted with the highest quality products being used and beautifully cooked too. The calamari was some of the best in York! The Cote burger would be a high suggestion for a main course with perfectly cooked burgers and a good portion of fries to go with it. The waiter and waitress are all very friendly and accommodating. One problem I had when visiting was that because the restaurant was so busy the waiters and waitress forgot how many drinks were ordered and brought out less drinks than there should of been and didn’t bring everyone’s starters out together so had to ask where my starter was before someone went to the kitchen to get it. The restaurant is a perfect place for a romantic meal or just a passing lunch while in town. I would highly recommend.

The whole dining experience is first class. All the staff are so pleasant and helpful. The food was superb. We had the two course lunch and it was excellent ( best whitebait I have ever had). The terrine my husband chose was so tasty and not heavy at all. Great choice of wines and an altogether superb lunch

Had a fabulous onion soup with croutons. Great atmosphere although the restaurant got quite hot on a normal night. The duck salad didn't really hit the spot for me. The wine was pretty good and service exceptional.

Booked for my partners birthday meal. Had a lovely evening, staff were very friendly. Our waiter Zach was great he was so attentive and really made the experience for us. Great food, lovely drinks. Can't fault it.

We had breakfast here on Thursday morning. Great choices. I had the best french toast I have ever had. Lovely staff and clean premises. Will definitely return when we are next in York. Forgot to say great coffee as well and good prices.
