A.A good stop off point. Based on the UK fish chips places I've visited in the past, gets a 5 star. Tried the cod & chips... batter was thin and crispy and the chips didn't taste like cardboard. If I was living in York, would visit this place again.
J. T.Ordered for the 1st time this evening unfortunately my cod and chips was missing from my order!! I rang the shop and explained they quickly got someone to ring me back!! I was sent out my fish and chips 45mins later with no apology from anyone!! Was rather annoyed has I couldn’t eat my meal with the family has there’s would have gone cold!! What I will say though is that the fish and chips was very nice and I really did enjoy them!!
D. H. (. F.Really tasty haddock in light crispy batter and delicious chips. Good value for money and friendly staff. A few seats in the windows for eating in the shop, but only for convenience, not intended as a sit in restaurant.
Free sauces are a bonus.
