Stumbled upon this place while walking in to town and popped in for a beer and some lunch. There's loads of food and drink options and all the food from the vendors looked amazing. The Greek platter was very good and more than enough for 2 …

Great food, great atmosphere, great drinks! We really enjoyed our evening here and will definitely come back, it would be a great place to visit as a group with friends as the vibe is very fun and communal. We ordered from the vegan taco and burrito bar and were not disappointed. The only negative is I was surprised with the very few toilets available, especially considering the amount of alcoholic options, and although there was a lift to ensure wheelchair accessibility the toilets definitely were not accessible and not very disability friendly either. Unless I missed a disabled toilet hidden somewhere (there were no signs) I'd say it's definitely an oversight.

Visited from out of town for the first time after following Spark on social media for a while. It lived up to all of my expectations. The staff are friendly, the food is fantastic, and the atmosphere is so welcoming; great vibes all around. Spark is such a cool and unique community space and I absolutely wish we had something similar in my own town.

Lovely little place and the staff were very friendly. Atmosphere is great. Shame we came on such a hot day as we would’ve stayed longer otherwise! We ordered a hot dog and fries and it was incredible. Some of the beers/lagers they have available are delicious as well.

Excellent “little community” of businesses all under one roof. We just went for drinks and used the online ordering, very quick and easy. Worth a visit if you are in York

Really loved the food here, the setting is great, wheelchair access for both floors, very hip & modern

Superb place. Aside from all the history etc. in York, this was our favourite place on our trip. We'd been a few years ago and now came back with our 2 and a half year old. The drinks and food are brilliant, service superb (someone offered to help me carry my drinks back to my table as I had my little boy with me!) and it's just a lovely place to be. Highly recommended. Will be sure to be back next time I'm in York. Shame Edinburgh doesn't have something like this!

A great place to hangout, choose from a variety of hot food from around the world and there’s alcohol drinks available too. I’ve visited similar places like this in central London, they usually always have a buzz about them. It was clean and toilets were well maintained on my visit. Prices are reasonable and I would definitely visit again.

SPARK has been on our to do list for a while. On the way back from town to the car, we decided to drop in for dinner - this was one of the best decisions we made.
I chose essentially the meatiest pizza from 'Rad'. Hand stretched and cooked to perfection (Calbrese Carne, pepperoni, calabrian sausage and tomato with mozzarella), it paired really well with the sour beer from Turning Point. The beer came in at around £6 and the pizza around £10.
All in all, there is so much on offer that you could easily come back time and time again - We will.
If the food from everywhere else is half as good as the pizza from RAD? Then you are in for a treat.
