Staff were SO friendly and accomodating. The food was absolutely excellent and good value for money. It might be worth clarifying exactly what the dish comes with - my friend ordered a chicken dish which was smaller than anticipated but we also had dishes to share so it worked well. So very tasty!!

Wow, what a meal. Just happened to drop by here and I'm glad we did. The experience was superb from the attentiveness of the staff to the quality of the food. Delicious Thai food in this cosy restaurant. The service was great and the staff were helpful in advising how much to order as the food is prepared tapas style with small dishes. I regularly eat Thai food in London and was really pleased to see several dishes on the menu that I had never seen or tried before. We had 2 of these and were not disappointed, they were delicious. It is worth making a reservation as it is a small restaurant. Takeaway is also available if you can't get a table.

Amazing place for some amazing Thai food. We went and honestly had an amazing experience the food tasted so good and the place had the perfect atmosphere. I do wish I had more to try which is a good incentive to go back. Staff were lovely and very welcoming. Plus the meal wasn't that expensive at all. I feel really sad to be leaving an average review because to food is sensational, and honestly some of the best I've tasted. However the take away portions are tiny, and left us both hungry, I understand with prices going up everywhere is cutting back but 6 small cubes of meat for £7(I would guess brisket, cooked beautifully) is a bit stingy. Even more sauce would have helped. Then I thought we'd at least fill up on rice, but only about a table spoonful each.

We took a chance on a table, early evening on a Friday and were not disappointed. It's a small and cozy Thai street-food tapas restaurant. The portions are small so order plenty, 2-3 dishes per person at least. The food was filling and tasty but we under ordered so felt there wasn't quite enough for us. It's quite pricey but obviously popular as it was frequented by people of Asian origin. The grafitti/art work on the wall is worth seeing.

We had a delicious lunch here and it was great value for money. I had the massaman curry which was perfect for someone who wants a mild, slightly sweet curry. The service was brilliant - very friendly and attentive. It's a shame more people haven't found this place - perhaps because it's a bit tucked away? Would highly recommend.

Brilliant Thai restaurant tucked down a side street. Really glad we stopped off there (we were heading into the main part of the city centre). Food really fresh and tasty and reasonably priced. Service excellent, staff very attentive. We’ll definitely be back next time we’re in York.

Amazing little Thai place! Finally got a chance to pop in and it was definitely worth the wait, amazing crispy mushrooms anf tempura. Curry is very nice as well, big flavours. Quick service and nice small portions. Would have taken a picture at the beginning but was just far too good!

Recently opened Thai street food restaurant. We chose Panang beef and crispy pork belly with chilli and basil. The former was not spicy with just the right amount of heat for me. The pork belly was really delicious but could have done with a bit of sauce. Very fast service and very cheap too. I highly recommend it.

We were made most welcome by staff and service was excellent. Some of the best Asian food I've had in the UK no holding back on the authentic flavours and spice. If you prefer something milder then they will accommodate but I'd suggest trying the Thai dumplings and squid starters.

I'm a Thai student who take a short trip here in York and found this restaurant by chance. The thing that striking me about this place were street food menus which the price wasn't too high and the owner is a real Thai guy LOL. It's unusual to find this menu in UK. It is 'Som Tum' or Thai-style spicy and sour salad. I didn't expect much about the taste as I'm in foreign country but... the thing is... this 'Som Tam' is very delicious. Both smell and taste are same in Thailand, even the taste is much better than some restaurant in Thailand. If you are looking for a real Thai taste, you won't regret from this place.

The food is amazing, probably the best Thai food we've experienced here in the UK. The service was impeccable so friendly and nice. Some portions are on the smaller side, but for 2 people we ordered a starter, 3 mains and one rice and it was plenty. Nice to have the variety as well. With an alcoholic drink each coming to £35 it's extremely good value. We would definitely return, thank you for a lovely meal.

I was excited to try this fairly new restaurant. The menu looks tasty and there is a cheaper lunchtime menu. We had 6 plates from the lunchtime menu and it was very enjoyable. The pork and prawn dumplings were particularly good and the fried chicken was fabulous. The waitress was very sweet.

Awesome authentic Thai food! If you are adventurous with your taste buds and are used to Thai spicy flavours, I definitely recommend the Tom Yum Goong soup and the Ba Mee Tom Yum. Beware, they are very spicy but definitely reminds me of real Thai food, all those times when I was in Thailand.

Fantastic gem with delicious food at a reasonable price. There are some spicy options which are marked on the board so you know. Other options are just as delicious and they have some gluten-free options. They have an excellent deal with either one or two main dishes with a side of either rice, noodles, or chips and a soft drink for £7. Their portions are spot on for even the hungriest of eaters. There are eat-in and take-out options to cater to all time requirements and the food is given hot and fresh. I'd absolutely recommend this place to every person living or visiting York!
