Let me start with the most important: This place is clean! Secondly, the food is beautiful - very tasty and fairly priced. There are good meal deals available, too. Chicken is good quality and nicely fried. Service is quick and the guys are friendly. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone looking for a tasty quick meal.

The BEST takeaway in York. The staff are great. Quick service and the food is always delicious and warm. I recommend the 1/4lb cheeseburger meal with garlic mayonnaise. It’s the best garlic mayonnaise sauce I have ever tasted in my life and I’ve never found a better one elsewhere. It’s a great place for a treat or end to a night out in York.

Was desperate for a donner kebab at dinner time and couldn't find the kebab place with a better review, so went here instead. Friendly service and fairly quick. Was disappointed that the meat had been shaved earlier and they reheated on the grill for my kebeb, but it had a nice flavour. The pita was fresh and soft and the garlic sauce was fabulous! The salad was fresh, cold, and crisp. I imagine this place might be better at chicken than kebabs.

Really impressed with Yummy Chicken. Their wings are soooo good. I went there last weekend and bought 25 wings to share with the boys, and everyone was blown away by how tasty they were. You can't compare them to KFC (and I love KFC). I had a chat with the owner afterwards, and its a really friendly family owned food place. They source their chicken locally and are there to help you out. I needed a taxi for 8 and they just sorted it with a smile. Would absolutely recommend Yorks Yummy Chicken, and choose the wings!!

We ate here with a group a few weeks ago and the food was very tasty and good quality. The Chicken wings were the most flavoursome, the Donner the freshest and tastiest ever, and the Pizza perfect. We would thoroughly recommend, and look forward to our next visit. We are generally a bit shy of fast food shops but this one is the exception. The staff may not have time to pass the time of day, but we got the biggest smile when we told the staff how much we enjoyed the food

There doesn't seem to be many late night takeaway options in York but we have found this to be the best one so far. The fries were perfect the pizza was good and the chicken pieces were large with a coating every bit as good as KFC. Everything cooked perfectly, quickly and the owner is a top bloke too. 100 %recommended

One of the rare places where you will have both Halal and non Halal options. Chickens are Halal but rest of the meat aren't. It's in a prime location but budget friendly and don't forget that you can only pay by cash here. Food tastes good and the staffs are friendly and polite.

This place is great. When i went to York for a school trip, me and my friend were looking for a KFC. When we couldn't find one, we walked in here. Best. Chicken. Ever. And quite cheap for a whole menu! It's even better then grandma's. (Don't tell her.) If i ever come back to York again, This is without doubt on my to-do list. one of the best memories i have of York. Love it!

Yummy Chicken l had a piece of chicken breast with fried onions and cheese and small amount of kebab meat with garlic yogurt and hubby had yummy chicken superkingburger with cheese and kebab meat and a portion of onion rings was very nice, we have had takeaway from there once a month either pick it up or they do home delivery we got a free garlic bread with tomato and cheese on it they take about 30/40minutes delivery time depending on how busy they are they have a menu online so you can order via email or ringing them. I ring them it's quicker service.
