Nice place this is to go to have lunch but be warned they do not take cash they only take card payments or by direct debit has got apartments there and it's done by Midland Heart it is a really nice place but it is expensive to stay there I don't know what the food is like as we didn't have any food there but it tucked away nice and quiet just off the main road the Stourbridge Road the apartments are for I would say people over the age of 60

I live in Lime Gardens.
It's a fabulous community here. It is in fact an Independant Retirement Living Village , which has Carers. There are 120 apt, some rented, some privately owned and some rented through DMBC, those are for people like myself who need High care.
If you aren't on care it's reassuring that if you need care there's something in place all the time. There's 24/7 care here .
Theres a shop, Gym, Computer Room, Library, Hairdressers a Shop and a Laundrette all for tge residents to use. We also have a Restaurant, bar, Entertsinments Area and Cinema. Most nights there's entertainment of some sort. This Friday 19th October 2018 we've got a former member of the Drifters coming to sing Motown for us. We have Bingo nights, Fish and Chip nights and Curry nights
There are people who have retired, people still at work and people who cannot work due to Disabilities.
I am Disabled. There's a wonderful Care Package here. Personally I have 4 calls a day, all of the Care Staff are AMAZING they are so caring and extremely helpful. Please don't think because I'm on care I live in a bedroom and I sit in a room during the day with a lot of old people. OH NO!! I have my own 2 bed Ground floor apartment. Which consists of 2 bedrooms, Wet Room, fully fitted kitchen, a large hall and a lounge with patio doors.
I am free to come and go as I please I cook my own meals and I maintain my own patio area.
I have a Helping Hands Dog she's amazing plus I have 3 cats . It's great that we are allowed to have pets I would be lost without mine !!
Basically WE NEVER HAVE TO LEAVE LIME GARDENS BECAUSE EVERYTHING WE NEED IS UNDER ONE ROOF !
If you are thinking of retiring and you want to downsize then seriously think about coming to our community. We would love to see you 💋

“When you see me sitting quietly, like a sack upon a shelf,
Don’t think I need your chattering. I’m listening to myself.
Hold! Stop! Don’t pity me! Hold! Stop your sympathy!
Understanding if you got it, otherwise I’ll do without it!
When my bones are stiff and aching and my feet won’t climb the stair,
I will only ask one favor: Don’t bring me no rocking chair.
When you see me walking, stumbling, don’t study and get it wrong.
‘Cause tired don’t mean lazy and every goodbye ain’t gone.
I’m the same person I was back then, a little less hair, a little less chin,
A lot less lungs and much less wind.
But ain’t I lucky I can still breathe in.”*
*nota bene, the Cradley high school graduates never got this one did they now?
