I have worked at st Giles for 2 years and I have never saw such a dedicated team, during the pandemic we have become even more of a family and become the residents families. We have created a dignity box which staff have filled with products like shampoo, denture box’s as some residents come with little or no products.. we really do care and it upsets me when people think we don’t care... we treat every resident like we would treat our own family As the clinical lead I am proud to say I work at st Giles I will be here for life Your relatives will be looked after with dignity and care.. thankyou

I am so happy with the care given to my Nan she is on a short stay bed from hospital . The care team Are very kind and caring makes a change from all the horror stories you read about. I have never met such a happy friendly manager she and her deputy walk the home all the time. The manager speaks to all the residents and even us how friendly and caring a first for me as managers are usually to busy to talk to anyone. Avery must be pleased to have this manager and deputy as they have created an excellent team The residents all love it here and love the walk about from the management team. this is setting the bar for the care homes well done all at St Giles and. Big thank you for caring for my Nan

The staff are friendly and caring. St Giles feels like a home from home and it would be a place I would consider for my mom and I have recommended it to a few of my colleagues who were looking for a care home. It makes a change to see a well run care home after the horror stories you read about in the press.

My brother Christopher spent a few months at St Giles and I would just like to say thankyou to Faye and the team there for the care given to him. One young lady Gemma was supportive and courteous to me when I visited or rang through and I thank her personally for that. Thanks also to Hayley on Reception and Clare in Admin again who were always very helpful. My brother has now moved on but I am sure when he looks back he will have fond memories of St Giles. Thankyou again and please all keep safe **** My brother has now returned to St Giles after having an awful time at the Solihull based home he transferred to a few months previous.

my father is at st Giles,its a great home, amazingly well managed, their covid measures make it one of the safest place's I've seen, keep up the exceptional work.

This is an excellent care home They have been caring for my dad The staff are all caring Even the management team are the best I have ever met It has been difficult as we couldn’t visit due to covid but the joy I got from the manager who has been arranging visits throughout was so caring and supportive and she made our day we have a visit planned and can’t wait To the manager and rest of st Giles team you have all been amazing and doing an excellent job throughout the pandemic keeping our loved ones safe a big thank you All too often people are always negative but I have to say no negativity from us Keep up good work St Giles team and well done to the management team for your amazing work

My nan was in the home for respite and it's clean and beautiful from what she said. She lives spending time is the big garden full of flowers and looked forward to lunch everyday. Thank you for looking after her so well 👍👍

Thankyou to all the staff who really cared and understood the needs of my Aunt K.A. during her end of life care. I may have only met her a few times as a child, as we live in N.Ireland & she didn't visit often with my uncle. I understand how difficult it can be with shortage of staff etc. I say to young staff, treat residents as though they were your own grandmother or grandfather, to mature staff treat residents as they were your own mum or dad, nurse them well as we could be them someday! What a wonderful care home which provides excellent care for its service users. The home is currently going through a renovation which will bring the environment up to compliment the care that is currently being provided. The staff are very approachable and strive to meet the needs of all service users and their relatives and friends who come to visit.
