R. F.I have recently joined Sussex Empowered Living and I am incredibly happy to be part of the team. I have found my employment so far to be organised and have received the training I required. During Covid-19 times they have adapted and any PPE I require is available. It is apparent the management and owners are very compassionate people who genuinely enjoy and want to aid their service users in their journey to independence. I look forward to my time with the company.
L.My brother was really struggling in his supported living situation and then we found Sussex Empowered Living. The staff are amazing- sensitive, generous and understanding and are able to pitch support and communication just right for their clients. They also work really well with family members- involving them in decisions around care whilst advocating the best needs of the client. I would highly recommend.
C. M.I would not usually leave reviews as a professional (Social Worker). However, I am so impressed with their service that I felt compelled to do so on this occasion. An absolutely great service. Professionally run with an extremely competent team of Caseworkers to support those in need. I must say, I am particularly impressed with how happy everyone always seems, staff and Service Users alike.
L. M.Inspirational journey and personal and professional self improvement is how I would define my experience at Sussex Empowered Living. The training provided is second to none and its abundantly clear the owners and managers valued me and they did strive to support me to develop my skill set. I feel they knew me as an individual and from this knowledge used my passions and own personal goals to enrol me onto bespoke training in an area I was interested in. I moved to a different county hence, needing to (very reluctantly) leave my post at SEL. Since then I havnt found the experiences at SEL reproduced in work undertaken in other companies. It sounds really corny (I'm a bit of a corn bag I'm afraid) SEL is like a family. In short, the owners and managers went above and beyond, love their staff and their clients and will invest everything in you. I loved every minute of the role. I grew and gained skills I never imagined I would have. Love to you all x
C. A.I've worked at SEL from the first day the company began back in 2014 and I feel that I've grow alongside the company. Over the years my role has developed significantly, enabling me to learn new skills, developing my operational knowledge, working in collaboration with the team to sustain a successful, functional organisation. I feel fulfilled and excited in my role and particularly enjoy utilising my personal interests and Masters in Psychodynamic Psychotherapy to contribute to our therapeutic processes throughout the organisation. Beginning as an Assistant Manager I then progressed to Registered Manager, leading to my current position - Director of Operations. Its been a privilege to work at SEL and I dont feel I would have been afforded the same opportunity for professional and personal growth elsewhere. The staff are fantastic and dedicated to the wonderful individuals who we support. Its a pleasure to work with such a dynamic group of individuals.

R. C.I worked there a while back but now full time study. This was a good opertunity for me as Im interested in psychology. People were nice and made me feel comfortable. liked clients, staff, management were kind.
