Home Instead is a fantastic company to work for. I used their services for the care of my mum 4 years ago and was extremely impressed with how professional, dedicated and caring they were. The caregiver was a perfect match and her visits brought my mum so much joy. In Nov 2020 an opportunity arose in my work life and I jumped at the chance to join the wonderful Home Instead team and become a CAREgiver. The company is very supportive and the clients so lovely. The work is exceptionally rewarding and I feel valued by both the company and the clients.

Have worked at Home Instead Brighton for just under four years and had no experience as a carer prior to this. The ongoing training is excellent and you are supported by the office team and management at all times if needed. In my experience everyone who works here feels passionate about what they are doing to make a positive difference in peoples lives. Visits are a minimum of one hour which gives you a chance to get to know the individual client better as well as being a better arrangement for the clients themselves. Different levels of care are provided ( companionship, home help and personal care) and where possible the support staff will try and accommodate your preferences subject to the needs of the clients and availability.

I joined Homeinstead as a Caregver in February this year after having worked for 43 years in an office environment. I wasn’t sure how I would get on with this big change of career but I am thoroughly enjoying it. The staff have been very helpful and with the training packages available I am seeing and caring for very interesting and lovely clients. I was unsure about the personal care side of caring but find this has become easier with experience and getting to know the individual clients.
