T. K.Very respectful to residents. Professional but with humour and compassion. My former neighbor who is at Kingfisher always smells nice his room is clean and comfortable. I have found the manager, office care and nursing staff excellent. It is as near to home as it can be. They have also been very understanding about how the family might be feeling. They have kept his family informed of all medical changes, medication, consolation etc.
The visiting with Covid has been hard for us but Kingfisher has made it as easy as possible for us. My neighbor has been unable to take part in many activities but those he has he has enjoyed.

From the outset, staff were very welcoming and were always on hand for both residents and friends and family.
As well as being attentive to my mother’s physical needs, the staff at Kingfisher Lodge did a lot to help my mother to settle in and socialise. My mother’s wellbeing was regularly and systematically monitored.
Nothing seemed too much trouble and if staff encountered challenges they found workarounds and creative solutions.
Relatives’ needs were also looked after and I felt I was kept well informed about my mother’s condition.
I always felt my mother could not have been in better hands.
