Brilliant Home! It has been challenging for us as a family having to put my Grandma in a care home since the loss of my Grandad at the beginning of March! This is the second nursing home my Grandma has been in and the care is beyond comparison. The staff (especially the managers who are terrific, caring and compassionate) understand our anxieties and during these challenging times do the up most best to keep us informed. Although my Grandma has severe dementia they continuously converse with her about her family reminding her of us and treating her with the dignity she deserves. I cannot fault this home, she seems as settled there as she can be. Honestly it does make a huge difference to a family who have been grieving not only for the loss of a Grandad / Dad but for the loss of who my Grandma used to be. It is difficult as dementia takes away the person she used to be and we grieve for that. However she is still with us 🙏 and the home are to be thanked for that. We understand that there will be tough times ahead with my Grandma's condition but we are sure that this home will help us to overcome these times the best they can.
Much appreciated. Nicola Davies and Family.

Mum was there for 6 weeks after a fall and time in GEH.My mum also has dementia along with a few other issues. I can only say the team there are great. It is a mix area .Which only adds to the minute to minute issues the staff deal with. They where decorateing whilst mum was there and it is still ongoing. But gave no inconvenience that I could see. Mum is home now with careers visiting. But wishes she was back there with the two Kelly and the team looking after her. That say it all.I think.

My mother was a resident at the haven for 6 weeks while she rehabilitated to enable her to return home after a fall.
I can not fault the care she received she told me it was like a hotel with amazing food. She said carers and nurses were attentive and were always available when needed
I can not understand the negative reviews
Keep up the hardwork.
Even though all very busy always had a smile 😊 and willing to help

My husband was accepted here on 23rd Dec 2017. I was informed it had been taken over by new management.
For the previous 5 months Jeff had been pushed around 5 hospitals. Lost his teeth, and spectacles. He suffered from Altzheimers and Parkinson's, Lewi Bodies, he could be aggressive. Over the previous 5 months he had dramatic weight loss. Besides the effects of his main illness.
On Christmas day I was invited to spend the day, I expected and to help feed him. But, after I started, he picked up the knife and fork, and eat everything on his plate. Then the pudding, then my pudding too. I was then told he had 3 bowls of porridge oats, then a full English breakfast, that morning.
That set the routine for his news life style. With Careful carers, NOT MEDICATION, Jeff began an easier life that suited him. With all the care he required and more.
Allan his son, put onto the Facebook.
All we really wanted for Christmas was for Dad to be free from fear and frustration. And so, about 11am on Christmas day 2019 he moved on to this final place of calm.
'Ah, peace at last' I'm sure he thought to himself.
We would like to thank the amazing staff at the Haven Nursing Home in Coventry where dad has been compassionately cared for during the last 2 years.
As his main visitor, it was difficult watching him deteareate with the illness. But knowing he was looked after, cared for, clean and fed the most beautiful food, made it all much easier to cope with.
Thank you to all the staff at the Haven over the last 2 years.

The Haven was my Mum's home for her last two months and we found it to be well ran, caring and dignified. The staff were always helpful and compassionate and treated both my Mum and us and as more than just clients.

Prior to going into Haven Nursing Home my aunt had frequent stays in hospital as she was not eating or drinking. Now a permanent resident at Haven she is cared for and has a much better quality of life.

Our Aunt is in Haven at the moment and we can't fault them at all, she is washed, fed and kept clean. What more can you ask for. Keep up the good work. If you have a problem speak up straight away and it will be sorted as soon as they can.

My dad was recently in this care home and we found all of the staff compasionate and caring. This was not only to my dad but to us (his family) as well. Nothing was too much trouble for the staff, and they are the people who make a good care home a great care home! Thank You Haven

My grandad is currently living at the haven, can’t fault it at all. Like most people we were very wary about putting him in a home and from the minute we first walked in we were made to feel very welcome. All his needs are met and infact I have not seen my grandad as happy as what is when I visit him in a long time. X

Our nan was in The Haven for only a short time. During that time we could not fault the kindness and compassion demonstrated by the staff. Especially Louise, Kay and Paul . Nothing was too much trouble and were always there when we needed them.
