l. B.I currently work as a contracted carer for the Glasgow branch, I have been with Brightcare for over 3 years now and can honestly say I have never been happier. The support from the office team as well as from other carers has been amazing. The office team have supported me through being a single parent and with supporting me to get a healthy work life balance. When working on a zero hours contract the office supported me with ensuring I was getting to spend time with my sun and when doing my university degree. I can honestly say (which I have never said before) that I love my job and its due the office team and the company as a whole are like a family.
N.I am a salaried carer and I have worked for the Glasgow Branch for almost 7 years which in itself says a lot. I absolutely love supporting my clients and I think Bright Cares person centred approcah and the way they match us with clients is fantastic. P. C.As a family we wanted to support Mum to continue to live at home following the death of my father as main carer. Mum has Alzheimers and Vascular Dementia. The team at Brightcare have been very responsive to Mum's needs and supported us all to adjust to her increasing needs and to work together to provide 24/7 care.
We are on a journey, with Anne and the Brightcare team providing advice and support , as a family adjusting to our extended caring role.
Natasha has fitted well with Mum and is patiently managing both her and our family 'experts in mum', she has settled in well and Mum has accepted into her home better that we dared hope. It is such a relief to know Mum is safe and receiving such support at home.
I would recommend Brightcare for the standard of care, responsiveness and understanding of how difficult it is to manage the transitions as care needs increase.
