L. D.Moving mum to a care home recently has been an emotional journey however the team and management at Darnley Court Beaton unit have shown the highest levels of care and kindness to mum during her settling in period. I know she is in expert hands with a team who go above and beyond for their residents and families. Thank you to all at Darnley Court.
A. C.I cannot thank the Staff at Darnley Crt (especially Beaton House) enough for the care and attention shown to my Mum during her stay.
My Mum had a very aggressive form of Dementia which left her being nursed from bed the majority of the time, but the staff made sure she was washed and dressed every day. They made such an effort to get her in her adapted chair and into the tv room with other residents every day, even for a short amount of time. Her dietary needs were looked after and her room was always spotlessly clean.
It's a terrible thing to be told that your loved one can no longer live at home and that you must choose a nursing home but I always felt confident after visiting my Mum that she was well looked after by every staff member.
Nursing homes get bad reputations but Darnley Court proves that it can be done right. Xx

S.I would like to thank all the staff in the dementia unit for looking after my dad I can't believe the difference in a few days (Wednesday 16th October) He loves a good natter with the other residents and the staff have always got time for a wee chat with him .He is showered everyday he is lovely and fresh clean clothes on everyday I just can't thank the staff enough my dad has came on heaps and bounds .The food is great thanks to the chef and his kitchen staff The dementia unit is run very well thank you to the managment and staff you are amazing (payrise needed) xxx
