I can thoroughly recommend the professional service and amazing level of care provided to my father by Home Instead. From our initial contact to the day of my father’s death, the staff supported us every step of the way. All care was provided with dignity and respect, with my fathers needs and wishes guiding every intervention. Nothing was too much trouble. Care was flexible and immediately stepped up to accommodate his deteriorating health. The carers were completely reliable, arrived when they said they would and attended to his every need. They quickly developed a rapport with us as a family and put us all at ease. As a healthcare professional, I work alongside lots of care agencies in another part of the country and I can confidently say that I have never experienced an agency as good as Home Instead.

Entering the world of care was daunting to start with, but from my initial call to the day to day care of my Dad, the team at Home Instead continue to provide a fabulous service to both my Dad and the wider family. They are incredibly professional and do exactly what they say they are going to do, every time, leaving us well informed and well cared for. The team genuinely care for Dad, treating him with dignity as well as having a good giggle - it feels very personal. Flexibility has been really important to us as Dad has unfortunately had a number of hospital stays, but the team at Home Instead have been right behind us, ready to re-commence care as soon as we’ve needed it. I genuinely do not know what we would do without them.

We employed Home Instead to provide personnel care, help with getting up and going to bed, meals and medication for my Dad so that it gave him some independence. This gave us quality time with him and gave him care during the day. The Home Instead team provided get care, support and professionalism to both Dad, myself and family members. When Dad deteriorated they were able to provide that extra support so we were able to have periods of rest so that we could continue caring for Dad. I would recommend Home Instead for the loving, caring attitude to both Dad and family members.

The most wonderful care company I've ever worked for. Jo and Sharon was absolutely amazing throughout my time with 'Home instead Gloucester'. I wouldn't recommend any other care company to work for/care for a loved one-these people really do care about everyone. I had 24/7 support from the office staff and always felt supported by them-after all, as a care-giver you're always supporting clients but who's there to support you? Home instead is. Not to mention the clients we're delightful and very accepting. I've worked for home care companies before and felt so stressed from being overworked and feeling like you've had no support but this company was completely the opposite. I'm very sad to say I had to leave due to personal reasons but thank you so much Home Instead, you'll have a huge place in my heart forever.

A caring organisation, both for clients and staff. Staff are valued, treated fairly, receive superb training and are made to feel an important part of the organisation. As such, knowing there is such support, staff go the extra mile for the clients ensuring not only medical and care needs are met but clients more psychological and emotional needs are also looked after in the level of care and companionship that is given. After a lot of thought about who I was prepared to entrust the care of my elderly and frail mother to, I contacted Home Instead. I live some distance away so regular visits aren’t possible. From the outset they were friendly and actually listened to what I felt my mother needed. They have taken real care in providing someone who my mother can get on with and ensure the same person visits at a time convenient to her. I am always contacted if there are any issues or concerns and they have gone out of their way to assist in my mother living an independent life. I can’t thank you enough for the piece of mind you are giving me.
