a. e.Our mam was in there, and even though she said the food wasn’t that good, the staff (that I suspect were all on minimum wage), were extremely kind and caring.
The management, on the other hand, have made the place really expensive to be in, but such is life and the free market.
In the past we had council care homes that cost much less, so people nowadays spend years paying off a mortgage for the cost of their home to be paid to a care home.
J. R.My mum went here for respite due to a fall, she's had Alzheimer's disease for 5 years, and I can not thank all the staff in this place for everything they did for my mum and our family! She's improved above and beyond our expectations, still needed to be moved to another care home, but my mum and our family and the staff would have loved her to stay.
But luckily found another home just as caring.
But this home was heaven and full of angels. Thank you so much for everything! 💖
J. B.I was very pleased with the care my father received at Sunnyside whilst recovering from a hip operation. The staff were all very friendly, caring and professional with both my father and myself. These people work very hard to try and accommodate patients with a variety of issues. I cannot fault them. Thank you to all.
a.Let me put the 4 stars I've given in perspective, I've visited quite a few nursing/care homes and most would struggle to get 3 stars from me. So Sunnyside is towards the top end of the ones I've seen, quite close to getting 5 stars. I may revise this in a while. Disabled parking adequate, wheelchair access to the tiny lift is possible rather than good.

The staff have always been extremely friendly and helpful when needed help or advice, the place is spotlessly clean,
I would recommend this nursing home to anyone looking for a small friendly nursing home in the Crossgates area
m. t.All I can what an amazing home - cared for my granddad whilst a poc was out in place - our whole family felt as ease knowing he was in the clean - well accommodated -friendly place. Staff went above and beyond - food looked amazing, they were activities for the residents and the family!!!! 100% recommend.
