I have worked for a few care companies but none were as good as bluebird! I am one of the members of staff at the bluebird team in Boston and I honestly can say I have never been so happy in a job. The carers in the Boston team are unbelievable! They have supported me with my move back to Boston, financial difficulties from the cost of the living crisis, and struggles with home life. I go to work every morning with a smile on my face, and coming home after a long day with a smile still there is something I had never had before. The customers are amazing and you can tell they love every single one of their carers. This team is so driven and determined to face whatever challenge they face and endure every customer is provided with the best quality of care they can. I have seen a few company’s who I thought were good… but bluebird have outshone each and every one with there passion for care! I would recommend bluebird for anyone who is looking to get into the care sector as they will support you and with the same compassion as their customers! Moving back to Boston was a big thing but having a job with bluebird care made it all the more worth it!!💙💙

After working in an office for over 4 years I decided to go back into care. I joined Bluebird in June 2020 starting with an intense training course so far the best training I have ever had. The staff are all friendly and helpful and I have found nothing is too much trouble. I do a mixture of care Dom care, live in and nights. I have found that my work/life balance is 100% better I get more time at home than I did before. Since I have started I have already become a mentor and hope to continue to progress. Birdbird is the best care company that I have worked for without a doubt and wouldn’t hesitate recommending them. Care is a rewarding job, I go home knowing that I have made a difference to somebody’s day.

I joined Bluebird Care Boston in September 2018, and had no experience of domiciliary care. I was given excellent training, which is refreshed yearly plus ongoing training when necessary for specific customer care. The current team of carers are supportive, professional and fantastic to work with. The customers have varied needs and the team help each other with lots of communication so we all keep up to date with any special requirements or medical issues so we can provide everything according to the customers current circumstances. The supervisors, managers and directors are all supportive, approachable and appreciative of the carers, and do their utmost to accommodate requirements of working hours, time off and any issues: like a car breakdown.The whole Bluebird Boston and Lincoln branches are filled with such great people; I love my job, my colleagues and my customers; Bluebird is the best...

We have an amazing bunch of ladies who often go above & beyond to make sure our customers receive the best possible care. Our supervisor is always there for us through the good & difficult times. Her encouragement, support, knowledge & sense of humour keep us going & always make us smile. I've met a diverse range of customers who have been welcoming, friendly & a pleasure to care for. Bluebird invest in the best training & support is always on hand. I'm proud to be part of Bluebird care. 3/12/2020 I have now been a member of the team for over a year and am still loving my job. I was asked to become a Mentor and am finding my new role really rewarding. Our Boston team has grown even closer and we are always there for each other through the laughter and the tears. Working during the pandemic has been challenging but we have carried on providing the best quality of care for all our customers with a smile on our faces. Even with our PPE on our customers have said they can see we're still smiling! All of our customers are wonderful and their families who make us feel so welcome. Sadly some aren't with us for very long but we do everything we possibly can to make what precious time they do have left as comfortable as we can as they have chosen to be in their own home. Our supervisor Lisa has the biggest heart of anyone I've ever met and always goes that extra mile for our customers. Her support is amazing and she is always there for us during the good times and the difficult times. Becomming a carer for Bluebird Care is the best and most rewarding job I've ever had and I feel privileged to be part of the team. Thank you Bluebird.

I’ve been working for Bluebird lincoln for over 2 years now. I truly enjoy my work, Everyday is different ... there's nothing better than seeing someone smile, knowing that you helped cause it. Bluebird has helped me grow as a person and being a carer has taught me more about myself than I knew. I have recently rejoined Bluebird Care Lincoln after a period of absence. From the first interview stage, I could not have felt more relaxed and welcome to be rejoining an excellent company. The face to face training is so in depth and will ensure you are confident within your role before you start shadowing and meeting your customers. The office staff consisting of care manager, supervisor, co-ordinators and administration are brilliant. They are always on hand if needed and are very supportive. I can not fault them in any way. A company that truly provides outstanding care to their customers! I have been in care for over 20 years now and I can honestly say it is some of the best training I have had going in to a new employment. The office staff are very friendly and always there if you need them. 24 hours a day on call. I cannot think of any negative comments to say about Bluebird Care. Just need to let anyone thinking about using Bluebird Boston how absolutely amazing Lisa and her team of wonderful carers are. I am so totally confident in their excellent care for my Mum. She is quite disabled and not only are her personal needs taken care of, she enjoys the mental stimulation all the lovely carers give. Their number one priority is caring mentally and physically whilst enabling her to be as self sufficient as she wants or can be. Decisions are always taken in collaboration with her. Cannot praise every single one if them highly enough.

I lost my husband to Cancer and I did everything possible and cared for him at home, so I know first hand how difficult it is, there are no words to describe the loss. This year has taught me so much. I joined Bluebird when lockdown was happening. I quit my job that I really enjoyed to join something I felt was worthy of my time during this pandemic. I started bluebird in august 2019 after losing my job. I was a bit unsure at first about being a carer. But I needed a job and bluebird offered me a job Thinking that I wouldn’t be good enough I had doubts until halfway through my training which I wanted to get stuck into being a carer. I had a great mentor and now supervisor Tracy Metcalf who took me under her wing and who’s made me the carer I am today. Which I would like to thank her for. Not long after I started with bluebird care my mum went into hospital, the day she came out I rang the office to see if I could have a couple of hours off to pick her up from hospital. The manager Karl storr rang me back and said that I needed to do one call and then I could have the rest of the day off. I asked didn’t he want me to do in the evening. In which he said no u spend the rest of the day with your mum. I couldn’t thank Karl enough and to this day I’m still grateful for that. So bluebird don’t just care for their customer but their staff too. We have a great team. All the other carers I’ve worked with are awesome too!

I’ve never had care experience before and was really nervous... from day one I have been part of a great team.. everyone from Boston office is so friendly and helpful and have great knowledge, I have never worked with such a great team, there is so much thought and care into every care plan for each customer, the training that was provided was very in-depth and covered each area and the support from the other team member and mentors have made the job very enjoyable. For the first time I look forward to go to work to see colleagues and all the customer... the manager is always checking in and making sure everything is okay and your happy and if anything needed, it’s such a rewarding job and you feel that you accomplished some good everyday...

I have worked for BBC Grantham now for almost 3 months, I can’t speak for the other offices however the Lincoln/Grantham team are great. The care team I work alongside in Grantham are fun and friendly and do a top job. Always have a smile on their faces and look after their customers as if they are family. It’s a lovely team to work for and our customers are equally as lovely. I have never heard a bad thing spoken of the girls that care in and around Grantham, each customer and family have only positive things to say. It’s a lovely company to work for and I would let them look after my relatives and recommend them to friends and family without hesitation.

I started working with bluebird at the beginning of February this year. From the start it has been amazing!! The training, although intense was so good and taught me so much being a first time carer. Absolutely loved the shadowing and the girls I shadowed were so helpful and friendly, answering any questions I had. I’m part of the Boston team and they are the best bunch of girls I’ve ever met!! Almost like I’ve known them forever :) my supervisor is the most understanding, kind woman ever, always at the end of the phone if needed, fitting shifts around me and childcare arrangements, she’s just great altogether! Im never short on any PPE, just a quick message to ask if I’m getting a little low and I get more the same day. All the office staff are friendly and there to help when you need it. I’m so happy I applied for the job and hope to be part of bluebird for a very long time.

Carers from Bluebird have been visiting my Mum in Lincoln daily since July 2019. I’ve nothing but praise for them. Reliable, thorough, professional and very kind. Nothing is too much trouble. They always respond positively to any requests we have, will contact me if they have any concerns about Mum and will make suggestions for how things can be done differently. I don’t live in Lincoln so it’s taken a weight off my mind knowing that someone is keeping an eye on Mum everyday. During lockdown, carers have helped me set up video calls with Mum who couldn’t manage the technology without them. This has made a huge difference to us as a family. Excellent service. The homecare and support my Dad receives from the Bluebird Care Team in Lincoln really is fantastic. I particularly would like to mention Angela who not only takes excellent care of my Dad in so many ways but also gives the family reassurance and guidance. All the care providers are professional and treat Dad with respect, kindness and make Dad feel valuable and important. Everyone is friendly, jolly and Dad feels comfortable whilst they are in his home. The care providers really do care. As a family we have felt the care providers have given invaluable help. I'm pleased we work so well together as taking great care of our Dad is what we all want and Bluebird Care are most certainly doing that. Your loved ones are so precious and the Bluebird Care Team in Lincoln have proved my Dad is precious to them too. I would also like to mention Shanthi who is part of the Lincoln Team. Shanthi really has been wonderful in assisting me with matters arising from Dad's care, invoicing, suggesting ideas to help further, not only for our Dad but also for the family. Shanthi is patient, respectful and absolutely does as she says and resolves any matters. Shanthi is always obliging and listens. I have worked in care for 10 years, I started work with bluebird care lincoln back in March and can honestly say it's one of the best company's I've worked for, I was made to feel so welcome, the team at lincoln are so lovely and very supportive, there is always someone on the other end of the phone to listen, help and offer support, working at bluebird care isnt just about being a carer assistant it's about being part of a team, an extended family. From the guys in the office who work extremely hard to make sure that the company runs smoothly, to the other carers on the Frontline that are always there to offer support and guidance. With the current covid19 situation the carers and customers safety is bluebird care priority ensuring that we have all the correct equipment that we need to provide a safe service.

Hello everyone,my name is Kathleen. I have last stage COPD. Last year I had a very bad experience with a care company from Boston where I was physically and mentally abused in my own home. The police were involved but I was too ill and traumatised to carry the case through. Due to the coronavirus as you know communication from G.Ps and other health professionals was done over the phone and my mind set at the time was to tell them I was coping well, when in fact the house had become so cluttered and everything just piled up. My 35 year old autistic son could not cope either and he retreated to his room. I spent all of the time laid on the settee. A home visit from my respiratory nurse Nicola changed our lives dramatically! To cut a long story short, Bluebird care Boston team came into our lives. I call them my girls and I can honestly say each and every one of them are not just there for the pay packet and I am sure they treat all their clients the same way they do myself and Andrew. Their whole demeanour is love, care and compassion. I cannot put into words. They come to see me 3 times a day and I look forward to their calls. The girls have got me out of that very dark place. Bluebirds have wings and so do the Boston team! They are my sunshine angels
