c. h.Acacia is a Good place to work and has great facilities such as a Hair Salon, Bar, Cafe and a library along with 2 rabbits and 7 chickens and a Beautiful Garden that our residents fully enjoy.
V. C.I have been working at Acacia care centre since 2017 and it has been a pleasure.
The nursing home consists of different units with varying needs and some residents who require significant nursing input. I should say the resident are well looked after and their holistic needs are always included in their care. I have enjoyed my experience as a member of staff so far working alongside lovely staff and colleagues. It is a friendly place to work with great opportunities to learn new skills. The manager is friendly, down to earth and always available for help and advice. She is also very supportive and willing to help staff with their career progression.
In overall Acacia care centre is an excellent place to work and I hope to work here for a long time.

J. M.Acacia gets my '5-star' rating in every aspect. My friend has been a resident at Acacia Care Centre since October 2013. The quality of care, management, hygiene, room accommodation and catering is simply brilliant. The staff offer a great deal of support and caring - not only for the residents but also for the friends and family. The atmosphere is uplifting, positive - and they are very professional.
There has obviously been a tremendous amount of planning and consideration that has gone into the layout of Acacia. My friend is on the Dementia floor, so there are wide long corridors where he can walk, and walk - night or day - and always staff on hand, who are understanding of the residents' needs and problems.
The rooms are beautifully appointed with very good quality furniture; the gardens are attractive and have some raised flower beds, so that those with 'green fingers' can easily do some gardening. There is also a splendid cafe area with coffee making facilities; and a bar area for get-togethers; a library and computer area.
A true indicator of just how good is the Acacia Care Centre, is the fact that when there is a Friends and Family Meeting, or a special celebration, the attendance numbers are fantastic. These celebrations and meetings are great fun and they always have a strong sense of community spirit.
Oh yes, Acacia Care Centre is definitely worthy of a 5-star rating.
