My uncle, who had dementia, was looked after adequately at Leah Lodge but there wasn't enough staff and they had to use a lot of poorly-trained agency people. We found out he fell during the night and wasn't discovered until the morning, very distressed, bruised and dehydrated. The management didn't provide a reasonable explanation and refused to apologise. As a result we had to move my uncle to another home.
