M. C.My father has resident here for over 7 months; he never wanted to go into a home, and has deteriorated rapidly losing almost all his mobility, and has been diagnosed with depression. There are some great members of staff who go the extra mile to make him comfortable and to whom I am grateful, in particular Tatiana. The aspect I am not impressed with is the management team. I have sent several emails to the care home manager about my various concerns which she has never had the good manners or courtesy to reply to. This isn't care - actions speak louder than any fine sounding words on their website. So we are now looking for alternative provision.
P. M.As a family it was a really difficult decision to place dad Into care and during these unprecedented times the situation is made even more difficult.
I think I speak for all the family knowing that dad is being taken care of by the team at Laurel Court In particular our thanks and gratitude goes out to Brigette and Racelle who go above and beyond caring for dad. Also accommodating us as a family through these times with updated communication and we really appreciate it.
Again we can’t thank you enough, for all what you do for our dad and the continued support and we wait anxiously in the hope that we will be able to see dad as we use to very soon.
