Reviews of Healthcare Access Ltd

Thank you so much to Doris and her team for looking after my mother in Banbury during the last months of her life. It was her wish to stay in her home and with their help we were able to keep to that promise.
It was a huge relief to me to know she was being well cared for as her needs were quite complex involving many other health professionals. But Doris and her team met the challenges well, and went above and beyond to ensure she was well cared for and happy. All of the team are so kind, caring and lovely and always did their very best for her. The communication was excellent which is always very important. I would not hesitate to recommend Health Care Access for your care or that of a loved one.

My uncle was supported in his last 4 months of his life by the HealthCare Access Ltd - Banbury Branch
Sadly earlier in the year he had a fall and his subsequent admission to hospital came out of the blue (as these things always do). The NHS did a marvellous job helping him recover in hospital and provided very good support in his home setting for the initial 8 weeks of his return home. However my concern at that stage very quickly became how on earth he would be able to continue to live in his home (something that was very important to him) and how arrangements could be put in place to provide him with support on an on-going, long term basis, particularly as I live 165 miles away!
Fortunately I was advised, through Oxfordshire Social Services, of the work that the HealthCare Access does and what the team would be able to do to support my uncle. Whilst in theory this was reassuring news, to be honest at the time, I had some doubts about what would actually happen - 'would the carers turn up?', 'would they listen to what he wanted?', 'would they keep him clean / fed / comfortable?', etc, etc, and most importantly of all 'would they be kind to him?'.
From the moment the HealthCare Access Team started to provide his care all my concerns were wiped away. The care he received was exemplary in every way; he was looked after with dignity, consideration, professionalism and most importantly compassion by all those that he came into contact with. They contacted me when concerns arose and worked incredibly hard to ensure that he had the best possible support in the difficult situation that he found himself in.
I don't really have the words to express the full gratitude I feel to Doris (Manager) and her team – they were wonderful! But on behalf of my late uncle, and myself, would like to express our heartfelt appreciation to all the members of the team who enabled his care, both those on the front line doing the visits and dealing with the day to day issues, and to those whose administration, management and organisational skills help to make the whole thing possible.
I would have no hesitation in recommending them to anyone who needs care, or anyone who is endeavouring to find care for their loved ones. Banbury residents are truly fortunate to have such wonderful resource available to them.

They have been fantastic with my elderly parents that both suffer with dementia. Everyday day is a challenge, but they always deal with it with a smile on their faces. They are a god send, with me working full time. They visit my parents 4 times a day and this takes a great weight off my shoulders! Would highly recommend.

We were initially worried about having strangers coming into our home throughout the day, but we needn’t have
All the carers became like friends and family
They were kindness personified and totally caring and respectful to my mother
