I have only been working for Helping Hands since February and I can honestly say that they are brilliant. They are very supportive and caring towards their clients and staff. Right from the beginning I have felt part of the Helping Hands team. My management staff are excellent Elaine and Nicola, they are very supportive and caring and would help you in any situation whether it be work or home. I am so pleased that I am able to work with such a brilliant team. So if you are thinking about joining us please do, you wont regret it.

We started using Helping Hands a couple of months ago to assist my mother in law who has Alzheimers. She was finding day to day living a bit of a struggle, especially with administration of medication & it was worrying for us too. I honestly don't know how we managed before Helping Hands came along. We have a core group of 4-5 ladies who are all wonderful. It's obvious that they really do genuinely care about their clients, & the service they provide. Mum in law looks forward to their three times a day visits & talks fondly of them all. They give her medication, make sure she is fed, watered & well, & when the weather is nice, they take her for a walk. Even just the chatting over a cup of tea is invaluable to her. The management are fantastic. Nothing is too much bother for them, & they are flexible and obliging when we have had to make changes to the schedule due to hospital appointments etc. I highly recommend Helping Hands. They truly have given my mum in law a new lease of life & given us peace of mind regarding her welfare, something you can't put a price on.

I used helping hands for my mum who was suffering from lewy body dementia. The service was excellent from being set up to when mum no longer needed the service. The carers were skilled and very kind. I paid for an hours care in the morning and evening and that is exactly what we got. I was given a schedule so I knew exactly when the carers would be arriving and leaving. I would highly recommend Helping Hands

We approached HH in 2019 to help care for my Mum and Dad who both have Alzheimer's. They help with the day to day household chores, assisting with meals and personal care. All the carer's are kind and professional. They are great company for my parents and have made a huge difference to their lives and the extended family. If we need to make any changes to the care plan for whatever reason the company couldn't be more helpful and flexible. Following a disastrous period of time with another company I asked HH to take over calling in to see my mother. I live 350 miles away, and with Covid regulations have been unable to get to see her. A carer calls in to see her twice a week, and helps her with the heavier housework, and a little bit of personal care. More importantly it means that Mam gets to see someone, and is able to have a chat and some company. Mam tells me she likes the carer who goes in, and says she works hard. It gives me a little bit of peace of mind, as I know HH will phone me if there are any problems that surface. Thank you HH.
