Ashfields provides amazing dementia care to their residents, the staff are always happy and positive. The home is very clean and the food looks great. My grandad lived here for a short period of time before sadly passing away, however his last 6 months of his life was spent at Ashfields and this gave him a new lease of life he really enjoyed life till the very end.

From a medical professionals angle , we visit most care homes frequently and know the difference between a good care home from a bad one. The team show above average compassion an care for their patients . Care records are kept impeccably too. The staffs excellent repor and knowledge of their patients allows staff to recognise even the smallest of deterioration and allows medical intervention to be initiated before any serious harm can develop. Very impressive and would be happy for my own family to stay here.

I, along with my brother visit Ashfields regularly as we offer a barbering service. The care we have witnessed is of the highest level and its clear that the residents are happy and enjoy living there. The staff are extremely friendly and welcoming and we love visiting such a great atmosphere.

Attended Ashfields Care Home and was really impressed by the welcoming and professional attitude of the staff. Everyone was more than happy to speak with me including the Manager which put me at ease straight away. The home was very clean and I was even offered a cup of tea! Lovely home :-)

So the only reason I'm leaving this review is because this care home has actually changed my mind on what I thought a care home was. I imagined a care home to be somewhere you put yr relative for them to sit in a chair watch TV and pretty much that's it. For them to sit alone, sad and fed up. I was invited to set up a small stall on a family day event. I was greeted with such welcoming staff and the residents were beaming. They all looked happy and healthy I soon found out why. Chatting to one lady she was telling me how they have trips out and singers coming in. They have fun days themed like a valentine's ball and a halloween party. At xmas the bedrooms are decorated by staff overnight so it brings back those special memories. Not a day goes by without the residents having something to keep minds and bodies stimulated. Staff treat residents like family that's the difference here. Thier lives are truly full of laughter and happiness and what more could we want for our loved ones in thier final years. This place is bursting with activities,song and good memories. I'd definitely recommend placing a loved one here if you want them to make the last year's happy ones.

I cannot applaud this home enough! They are truly dedicated to their residents and make every effort to go above and beyond. We really enjoyed the open day and when the time comes there's no question who we will reach out to for specialised dementia care for our loved one. Keep doing what you're doing Ashfields!

Great Professional care home with great staff members. Covid test carried out on arrival by staff in a very safe feeling environment. All staff members follow government procedures. brilliant all round.
