Heron Lodge is a wonderful home. It is like a home from home. My Mum has been a resident for nearly 2 years and is very happy and content there. The staff treat the residents like family and I always feel welcome when I visit. They have lots of things going on and include family members in activities as much as possible. The residents are well looked after and their wellbeing is always top priority. I'm so happy we found Heron Lodge for Mum. we couldn't have found a better place for her.

My mother has been living at Heron Lodge for nearly eighteen months now and I have nothing but admiration and gratitude for Maebh and her staff in the way they have welcomed mum into their family. It is a great relief to know she is being cared for and being kept safe so well, especially during these difficult Covid times by such professional staff. Heron Lodge is very homely and there are always many activities for mum to enjoy with the other residents in the pretty lounge or if she prefers, she can stay in her lovely room surrounded by her personal things. The garden is very pretty and popular in the summer months with comfortable furniture and gazebos for afternoon tea or bbqs. Relatives are kept well informed of any concerns there might be. We certainly are made to feel like family too.

My Mum has been living at Heron Lodge for over 2 years. During that time she has received excellent care. Without exception the staff are friendly and caring. When I took Mum for a trip in to Wroxham, we bumped into one of the staff and they still stopped and chatted to Mum. The home is very well managed. And the management team are only ever a phone call or email away. Only today the manager sent me a picture of my Mum, who was having a great time at he MacMillan tea party they had organised. During this Covid crisis over the last 6 months, procedures were quickly put in place to protect staff and residents. And as a result of this the home has remained Covid free. Although we live 300 miles away, we have been able to maintain regular contact with Mum via video messaging. This was instigated by the home so family and friends could keep in touch with their loved ones. This also means I can attend regular family update meetings, even though I don't live locally. I always feel confident, with Mum living at Heron Lodge, that she is extremely well looked after. If you are looking for somewhere to care for your loved one, then I would fully recommend Heron Lodge.
