Alder House is an amazing place to work and visit. A very friendly and welcoming team. Everyone is caring and goes above and beyond for each other and for the residents. Amazingly warm reception from the front of house and a family feel throughout the home. Great Housekeeping team, dedicated care staff, friendly and supportive management, a good choice of food on the menu and plenty of activities on offer daily. It doesn't matter which department the staff work in their main priority is the well-being of the residents.

Alder House is a stunning home which boasts some fantastic areas for residents and their families to enjoy together (cinema, private dining area manicured gardens, library and vintage tea room to name but a few). The management and staff are dedicated to providing the best possible service to their residents. I would recommend a visit to see for yourself

My mum has been in Alder House since February 2015. It is not a care home it is home from home. Mum's memory is not what it used to be... but is treated with dignity and respect by all staff. The staff are kind and considerate to her needs. She always looks smart and is treated how you would want your parent to be treated. The home is like a five start hotel with an amazing dining room, cinema, sweet shop, library and hairdressers. There are activities throughout the day to stimulate the residents. There is never a dull moment. And every day is a special say. The staff and residents are one big happy family. I would not hesitate to recommend the home to anyone looking for somewhere safe and caring for a loved one. You are able to go home at night knowing that they are safe, well cared for and loved.

Mum stayed at this care home for just over 3 weeks while I went away on holiday. After visiting many homes I chose this as it ticked many boxes. She enjoyed her stay here and was very well cared for. They had variety of entertainment and occasionall outings, eg garden centre and supermarket visits. The staff were all lovely and friendly and mum had many a joke and natter with them. Its a very clean and well cared for home, in fact it doesn't feel like your standard care home, but more along the lines of a hotel. I would highly recommend Alder House and would certainly use it again. Thanks to all staff for making mums stay very happy. (Big Thanks to Anne and Jeremy, she's still ringing the bell but no luck!) Always a pleasure and a privilege to entertain the residents and staff of Alder House. I have been coming here for several years now and have always been impressed with the friendly atmosphere, exceptional facilities and first class attitude of the staff. I can't recommend Alder House highly enough for care and attention to detail.

Alder House is a wonderful place to visit, a lovely atmosphere, the staff are always so welcoming and the residents look happy and content. Having visited Alder House a few times, I have now absorbed the quality and detail of the Interiors provided for not only the residents, but also for the visitors.....Well done! There is real buzz around Alder and the Management, staff, residents and families all pull in the same 'happy' direction! Save a bed for me!!!!!
